That was my biggest fear when he won the election, that he would straight up attack Europe/NATO. US is already considered an enemy to most people in my country, before we saw them as an ally. Knowing they had the most powerful military in the world and they are on our side felt safe. Now US is a bigger threat to Europe than Russia and the potential backstab could happen at any time, we just don’t know yet.
