Think about it from Trump and his circle's perspective. There's high probability the GOP loses the house and if that happens more than a few are done. If they lose the Senate as well, then they're all done and probably Trump as well. If the GOP manages to squeak by and keep both houses, then his circle needs to wrap things up because the GOP will be in survival mode for 2028, so most likely will turn hostile against Mikey and Trump. There's also a good chance Trump goes scorched earth against the GOP, because why not? So the grift is coming to a close, and everyone (but probably Trump) knows it. So keep the uncertainty going for a while longer and make a buck manipulating the market and insider betting in the predictive markets. The only question is which country do they all start moving to in the next two years? The options are getting narrow.

Some SEA countries are already being hit hard with crazy high fuel prices, which are causing unrest and protest. Japan is hanging on, but their reserves are starting to run dry. If the strait doesn't open by the end of May, they will be a tough spot. China is actually doing ok as they have large reserves and diversified away from fro oil before this war began.

It’s simple every time oil goes above $110 and markets start to fall Trump tweets that there is peace talks, there is a ceasefire, the war will end soon. This drives up the market and drives down the oil price. The reality is the strait of Hormuz is closed. Why Trump does this is because he ties the success of his Presidency to the stock market. The problem is oil is a physical product what he is doing is creating a disconnect where global refineries are buying US oil on the c**** when in reality it should be 140 dollars. This is going to cause a steep decline in US oil reserves and a price spike or oil shock.
