Trump compliments journalist’s looks when asked whether Iranians have drinking water
Donald Trump complimented a female journalist’s appearance when asked whether people in Iran facing attacks from the US have enough food and water. The US president spoke to Fox News host Dana Perino, who had asked him about the “alarming” silence from the Iranian people due to internet blackouts, and whether they had enough drinking water or food. Trump then spoke about Perino’s looks. “First, do you remember when we had lunch years ago in the base of Trump Tower?” the president asked. “You have not changed. Now I'm not allowed to say this, it's the end of my political career, but you may be even better looking, OK?”

Remember the time he recollected the time he saw Arnold palmers p**** and complimented it during a f****** white power rally he called campaigning?

2016 I became driven to do that and tried to medicate with booze.  Worked in that I don’t recall a ton. Sucked balls in hundreds of other ways.  No way I’m going back, but ignorance really is bliss right now.

There’s a shit ton of assholes who think that the truth is being silenced because you aren’t supposed to be racist or sexist or ableist. They vice signal to other assholes and claim to be “straight shooters”. This is the same people who say “comedies like that can’t be made these days”.

It reinforces his personal belief that he can do whatever he wants. He says the thing and knows he won’t be held accountable or if there is an attempt at accountability it won’t impact him. He gets to be the special guy that gets trophies and medals and the free pass to say “what others can’t”. What’s infuriating is he is right because even when he says something that even his base says crossed a line they forgive him or excuse it the second they see anyone they don’t like is also angry about it

Every time he said that it is followed by him saying the thing anyway. So saying that was never true at all. I'm so sick of this dude.

This man is a choose your own adventure bible. He'll say numerous contradictory things, then his flock picks and chooses whatever comports their currently held views. The word of Trump has become gospel. To abandon Maga is to be excommunicated. Nothing short of religious fervor could ever fuel the hatred they put on display. Trump (re?)ignited that flame in their hearts and told them it was big and beautiful, so naturally, they basked in its radiance. For them to now acknowledge the hate for what it is would also require them to confront everything they allowed that hate to consume. They will not reach this conclusion willingly, so we have to make them eat off the mantle by showing up in November :)

It didn't stop him, he flouts his belief that he's above standard norms of decorum incessantly. It makes him feel good to be doing things that nobody else can, and on the far end of that it looks like raping children for example. It's called a pattern.

This is classic Trump. I’m not going to get outraged over him complimenting a woman.

Agreed it is classic Trump. People are talking about a serious issue, and this f****** moron starts talking about how someone looks.

I definitely understand being selective about what we get angry about when it comes to Trump, but the fact that this is classic Trump is why it’s so infuriating. He genuinely can not see women as anything other than sex objects. He has repeatedly been told by the people around him to stop making sexualized comments about his own daughter. He has publicly called his daughter a “real piece of ass” and wondered aloud what it would be like to f*** her, because that is the only way Trump can see women. So when a friendly reporter asks Trump a simple and serious question about the war he started, Trump ignores it to talk about how hot she is. It’s not one of the 10 worst or most disgusting things Trump will do today, there’s no upside to just being angry all of the time, but obviously we should all be very angry about shit like this. The president is a deranged and dangerous old pervert, the closest friend he’s ever had in his entire life is America’s most notorious child sex predator, and Republicans made him president of the United States.

No. This is classic misogyny: Divert all commentary by a female back to their base physical traits. “What you are saying is not important to me, but damn girl I’d hit it!”

Woman, or girl when applicable.

No you should be outraged that he cares more about what he thinks as pretty than to actually care about people who are actively dying of starvation, dehydration and preventable illness. And that's me just talking about the people in the United States that are his constituents. He cares even LESS about the people in Iran who wanted a better government that are suffering.

I remember my father slowly rubbing the tips of his fingers over his forehead as a sign that he was in danger of losing his temper over some idiotic thing my brother and I said or did when we were young. I now find myself performing the same gesture whenever I see Trump's name in the news.

He. Is. Out. To. Lunch. Permanently. There is no there, there. GOP Congress and the Cabinet are enabling this madness. Cynicism and cowardice and greed. I can forgive some dumb MAGA voters. This administration enabled by some billionaires and this Congress? Not so much.

Trump doesn't even care about Americans, much less about foreigners.

This is the POTUS whose briefings on the war in Iran consist of video clips of U.S. air strikes.

> right i do... i do... **but first do you remember years ago when we had lunch at the base of trump tower when it was a brand new building?…** > it was a long time ago. And you haven’t changed. You have not changed. > Now i’m not allowed to say this, it’s the end of my political career, but you may be even better looking… Dana Perino was born in 1973. Trump tower was opened in 1983. Maybe Donald is misremembering, but i don’t know.

The funniest part was that it sounded like a suction cup being pulled off a tiled shower wall when Perino got out of her chair.

LazamairAMD Mar 27, 2026 +20
At the fact Donnie Dipshit is incapable of answering the reporter's question? Not at all. Because the only thing that matters is what is staring back in the mirror. Full Stop.

razz-boy Mar 27, 2026 +10
No, Trump's brain is absolute swiss cheese. Clearly has dementia and should be in a nursing home (or prison where he belongs). What would be surprising is if he said something intelligent or relevant to the question that was asked
10
ConditionHoliday2844 Mar 27, 2026 -7
He gets two minutes briefing daily. Probably not much in regards to water issues. Surprised me he was complimenting the press.
-7
razz-boy Mar 27, 2026 +8
Why can’t he answer the question? Too stupid? Too old? Didn’t understand the question? All of the above?
8
ConditionHoliday2844 Mar 27, 2026 -1
Distracted clearly
-1
razz-boy Mar 27, 2026 +5
But Trump has the sharpest mind the world has ever seen, there’s no way he could be distracted. Everyone says so. Plus that would imply he’s always distracted, because he generally does not actually answer reporters questions
