This is hilarious. His attention span can only withstand watching short clips or “stuff blowing up”.

And then when he wants to adjust the plan, he draws on the TV screen with a Sharpie marker.

Child play. That’s all he can do.

It’s basically what happened with his father but now the stakes are life and death and global consequences.

I can already see the South Park parody of this in my head.... The music and theatrics in the videos there to keep his attention.

underpants-gnome Mar 25, 2026 +7
They should cast trump's war reel with some maga actors for bigger dramatic impact. Kevin Sorbo can dive onto a drone and force it into the ground to protect an oil tanker. Admiral Jon Voight can stand around the aircraft carrier bridge set, snapping off orders.

I guess his briefing team were tired of acting out Trump's daily intel briefing with finger puppets.

Trump CANNOT make a deal even if he wanted, not one Iranians would remotely accept While reading about how Trump wants to make a deal and is supposedly in negotiations with some anonymous but really important person in Iran, lets remember two points: 1- Any deal acceptable to Iranians will require some lifting of sanctions at bare minimum 2- By law, US Presidents CANNOT unilaterally lift sanctions imposed by Congress. Remember folks, according to the US Constitution while US Presidents are in charge of diplomatic relations with other nations, ONLY Congress is in charge of economic relations with other nations: Article I, Section 8 of the US Constitution explicitly grants Congress the power to "regulate commerce with foreign nations"  So ONLY Congress can lift sanctions on Iran (even ask gpt). And Congress is bought & paid for by Israel which is opposed to Iran https://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/house/199645-gop-lawmaker-rejects-friedmans-bought-and-paid-for-assertion-on-netanyahu/ AIPAC pushed heavily for primary and secondary sanctions in Congress starting in mid-1990s when Iran first tried to make a deal with the US: https://time.com/archive/6727086/down-goes-the-deal/ https://www.nytimes.com/2015/02/26/world/middleeast/kerry-reminds-congress-netanyahu-advised-us-to-invade-iraq.html https://www.wrmea.org/1998-march/trade-and-finance-administration-in-hot-seat-thanks-to-aipac-drafted-iran-libya-sanctions-act.html There are different kinds of "sanctions" laws but the MAIN sanctions laws are economic sanctions laws imposed by Congress. Congress authorizes Presidents to ENFORCE theses sanctions laws, not to lift them. These sanctions laws give the US President some leeway for example to suspend sanctions for 6 months at a time, but suspending sanctions is not the same as lifting them - and having to do so every 6 months is probably not acceptable to Iran which would want a permanent lifting of sanctions instead to allow long term investments etc. Legally, US sanctions on Iran cannot be lifted even if Iran totally gives up her nuclear program. https://nationalinterest.org/feature/are-sanctions-fatwa-iran-6363 The legal preconditions to lifting sanctions are deliberately ridiculous because they're meant to be unliftable essentially The continuation of Congressional sanctions under Obama was also why the JCPOA nuclear deal failed from the very start, before Trump was even elected and before he tore up the deal. (Obama and Kerry even tried to rally foreign banks to do business with Iran anyway but gave up since the banks were more concerned about OFAC rules.) So no, the JCPOA nuclear deal was actually NOT "working" before Trump killed it contrary to widespread claims & despite Iran's verified compliance with it for more than a year even after Trump tore up. Trump's "withdrawal" did not kill the nuclear deal as it was never implemented by the US even under Obama thanks to continued Congressional sanctions, nor could it ever be implemented thanks to those sanctions: "if the situation is not appreciably better soon, it will be impossible for the US and its partners to argue credibly that they are not in breach of the JCPOA." THE IRAN NUCLEAR NEGOTIATIONS: ONE YEAR ON Sir Richard Dalton https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/03068374.2016.1225896 The Iranians had already started complaining too, before Trump was elected and "withdrew" from the deal https://www.politico.eu/article/top-iranian-official-says-us-and-eu-have-not-fulfilled-nuclear-deal-weapons-valiollah-seif/ See, the aim and purpose of US sanctions on Iran is not so much to constrain Iran which is already throroughly sanctioned; the piled-on sanctions laws are instead meant to pose as legal and political impediments to improved relations between the US and Iran (which Israel disapproves of). Thats also why we still have sanctions on Cuba decades after the death of Castro and Communism - because another Congressional ethnic group lobby opposes improved relations and want to block it: Cuba Sanctions: Legislative Restrictions Limiting the Normalization of Relations Source: EveryCRSReport.com https://share.google/vH4TgnGtSXTcM6djQ The actual "threat" Iran poses to Israel is not that Iran will nukes Israel, rather it is that Iran and the US may start to get along, which means Iran can then pose as a check on Israeli regional ambitions. That is why Israel has for decades tried to instigate a US-Iran conflict and why Israel & AIPAC so vehemently opposed the JCPOA nuclear deal https://jewishcurrents.org/aipac-refuses-to-learn-from-its-mistakes-on-iran https://www.catholic.org/featured/headline.php?ID=5970 https://www.cbsnews.com/news/israel-prodding-us-to-attack-iran/ https://www.amazon.com/Single-Roll-Dice-Obamas-Diplomacy/dp/0300169361 Netanyahu said that he was the only one who urged Trump to kill the Iran nuclear deal, boasting that he "stood up against the whole world" to make it happen https://www.newyorker.com/news/daily-comment/why-netanyahu-really-wanted-trump-to-scuttle-the-iran-deal Netanyahu also later expressed satisfaction that he finally convinced a US President aka Trump to attack Iran after 40 years of yearning https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/let-just-netanyahu-convinced-trump-202742557.html Netanyahu and Congresx won't let Trump lift sanctions therefore no deal with Iran is possible. Trump cannot make a deal with Iran since at a minimum a deal will require permanent sanctions relief, which US Presidents cannot legally provide thanks to the influence of the Pro-Israeli lobby in Congress. I'd welcome any contrary opinions

"Trump has been shown a highlight reel, approximately 2 minutes long but sometimes more, every day [since the bombing campaign began on February 28,](https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/iran-war-trump-peace-plan-b2945135.html) depicting U.S. Central Command striking Iranian equipment and military targets, [NBC News reports](https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/trump-gets-daily-video-montage-briefing-iran-war-rcna263912), citing U.S. officials." "While the president also receives updates from top military and intelligence advisers, the highlight reel has prompted concern among officials and Trump’s allies that he is[ not receiving “a full scope” of information](https://www.independent.co.uk/news/trump-navy-middle-east-washington-capitol-hill-b2945050.html), according to NBC News." "The video “doesn’t reflect the full scope of the conflict,” the current and former U.S. officials told the outlet, who added that Trump can’t be briefed on every strike given how many there are per day." "One official gave the example of when five U.S. Air Force refueling planes were hit by Iranian missiles earlier this month at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, which Trump only learned about from media reports, according to NBC News." "The president reportedly “reacted angrily” to news coverage of the incident, and called coverage of the strike misleading in a Truth Social post." "The scenes Trump watches in the curated video are reportedly behind his frustration with news coverage of the war. The president has claimed that media outlets want the U.S. to “lose the War,” and has frequently lashed out at news organizations for scrutinizing the conflict." "One of the U.S. officials said that while discussions about sensitive military operations are limited to a smaller group, Trump continues to solicit input broadly and encourages every participant to weigh in candidly. The official added that Trump frequently takes calls from a broad range of outside advisers, regularly hearing how they feel and getting their perspectives on public opinion." "The Trump administration has reportedly offered Iran a 15-point plan to end the war for good, but Iran’s military said the countries were not in negotiations to end the conflict." "It comes as the U.S. military is preparing to deploy at least 1,000 troops from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East in the coming days, according to the *Associated Press."* \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ “We can’t tell him every single thing that happens,” a current U.S. official said. The official noted that Trump’s briefings tend to draw better feedback from his aides when they focus on U.S. victories. "Overall, the official said, the information Trump gets about the war tends to emphasize U.S. successes, with comparatively little detail about Iranian actions." This is consistent with prior reporting going back to Trump 1. His staff would feed him with news clippings from newsmax, Fox, Breitbart etc so that he would only see news he liked. Trump world is a massive echo chamber that has little grounding in reality.

Smaynard6000 Mar 25, 2026 +22
He had a staffer follow him around on the golf course with a portable printer. Her job was to print and show Trump favorable news coverage and people saying positive things about him on social media. This country is a farce
22
MadRaymer Mar 25, 2026 +17
This is actually same trap dictators fall into. No one wants to give the mad king bad news due to how he might react, so they selectively filter reports to make sure he's only given positive ones. For a historical example, there's the infamous *Downfall* scene of Hitler yelling in his bunker. It's become an internet meme of sorts, but the film's depiction is actually accurate based on witnesses. Hitler was not fully aware of how badly the war was going because he was intentionally not told negative war reports until there was absolutely no option left but to tell him.

This is what is surmised about Putin as well. During COVID his world decreased in size to the point that he was only speaking with a small number of advisors. As the war in Ukraine raged, it became clear he did not have the full picture and prior to that, had not been given an objective analysis of the Ukraine approach. Makes you wonder who is feeding these people this information.

'I like the blow up stuff but who is this Al-Sponge Bobbi guy in between? Is he the new guy in charge there now?' 'Well sir, it's complicated.' 'Put the Jews on this one. No more Sponge Bob in Iran.' 'Yes sir, he did say *'He'd do it again'* so that makes a lot of sense. If it wasn't for you we would all be dead now. You really are the best president of all time, even better than Washington and Lincoln. Thank you sir.'

“He’s not getting the full picture” is softballing in the same way Germans thought “hitler must not know about this” He started this war, lack of curiosity to achieve a full picture is squarely upon himself. Stop excusing him.

Trump's brain does not have the capacity for the full picture. At best he gets edited highlights, more often Cliff notes, mainly though, "A kiddies guide to f****** up the world" is the text for the briefing.

It seems increasingly apparent that the leadership responsible for this war literally don't understand what war is, and think if they just kill enough people, a victory message will pop up like a Call of Duty game. Things like objectives or strategy are seen as woke affectations, if they're even aware of them at all.
13
GreenXero Mar 25, 2026 +6
Funny thing about comparing it to Call of Duty, is that dipshits in the game think killing a lot wins. There are objectives in the game and I constantly see people mad that they lost because they killed a lot, but did nothing to complete the objectives.

He's NEVER wanted the full briefing, we've known this from first term.    If it want perfectly clear, that all of his people just feed him things to keep his ego happy, and make him think he's some divine princeling, your not paying attention.  This man operates on ONE mode, and it's take everything, except blame or accountability...and all the sycophants do is feed that, and protect him, like some bloated insect in the dark recesses of a mutant insect hive.

Someone is using him as a rubber stamp for burning down American democracy, and shifting more wealth to billionaires.

Every day a 2 minute video of things blown up in the last 48 hours. So trump sees double whats really blown up ( and cant tell he already saw half of them the day before). And his Jewish son in law is in direct talks with Hegseth, and Witcoff and they all agree iran is losing. But havent called iran yet because they dont know how because they blew up the telephones. So they just say theyre talking. And Trump says theyre negotiating and winning and already won because theres no phones, or planes, or ships.

Yeah, but his lack of mental capacity and the visible raging personality disorder even in his youth isn’t problematic? Look, enough with this “if the Czar only knew of my struggles he would fix it” stuff. Trump has gotten the finest briefings known to man. He can’t handle it. Im not saying idgits around him aren’t feeding him c*** or that it is good. But he sucked ass at the basic nuts and bolts of the job even with the higher quality first term advice.
