No separation of powers. Trump is there for intimidation.
1
PennysWorthOfTea Apr 1, 2026 +1
And he won't understand a word they say. I wonder if the justices in his pocket will be self-censoring to avoid polysyllabic words?
1
Disastrous_Sky_73 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Listening to it and you can 100% see Thomas playing to one person in the room.
1
0nlyhalfjewish Apr 1, 2026 +1
Did he put a pubic hair on Trump’s Diet Coke to get his attention?
1
clash_by_night Apr 1, 2026 +1
God, I wish people had listened to Anita Hill.
1
Elizabeth-WildFox886 Apr 1, 2026 +1
From an 11 year old, for maximum pedo trump attention

Wanna be mob boss.
1
barbariantrey Apr 1, 2026 +1
I hate to say it but he is a mob boss. It’s beyond all rational thought that anyone listens to him, but he has a bevy of sycophantic foot soldiers to do his demented bidding.
1
illegal_deagle Apr 1, 2026 +1
Once they had Jeff E whacked in prison that kinda sealed it.
1
BlueJay_525 Apr 1, 2026 +1
He's literally 'whacking' foreign leaders, because he wants to extort others.
1
TacosAreJustice Apr 1, 2026 +1
He got bored and left… It’s the dumbest timeline.
1
RecentDecision2329 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Shit his pants and had to leave
1
MRSN4P Apr 1, 2026 +1
The daily beast claims that his lawyers were losing badly to basic questions from the justices, and he left in a furious rage.
1
gringledoom Apr 1, 2026 +1
It's not working. His argument is getting shellacked.
1
justabill71 Apr 1, 2026 +1
As is his diaper, I'm sure.
1
SnowedOutMT Apr 1, 2026 +1
Is there a live thread or anything I can read?
1
porkchop2022 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Edit: linked to the wrong transcript.
1
SnowedOutMT Apr 1, 2026 +1
Thank you!
1
pontiacfirebird92 Apr 1, 2026 +1
>His argument is getting shellacked. How so? I fully expect SCOTUS to overturn birthright citizenship. It's in Project 2025. They were put there to do exactly this.
1
ErraticSiren Apr 1, 2026 +1
I mean you can read the questions the justices are asking of Sauer. The arguments are being live updated.
1
gringledoom Apr 1, 2026 +1
Well it’s not what’s happening, lol
1
pontiacfirebird92 Apr 1, 2026 +1
I would be happy to be wrong. But I also have no faith in SCOTUS.
1
Spaghetti_Nudes Apr 1, 2026 +1
Hard to be intimidated by a sleeping geriatric case.
1
bryan49 Apr 1, 2026 +1
I predict he's going to fall asleep, soil his diaper, and get bored and leave early. And it won't help his case at all
1
Wasting_my_own_time Apr 1, 2026 +1
Damn bro, you were spot on… what are your thoughts regarding tonight’s mega millions numbers?
1
bryan49 Apr 1, 2026 +1
I do have a good feeling about the numbers, but I think I'll keep that to myself ;-)
1
JimTheJerseyGuy Apr 1, 2026 +1
I’d love to see the someone in the middle of making an argument just stop, gag, and ask “oh god, what’s that *smell*?!?”
1
Ol_Turd_Fergy Apr 1, 2026 +1
And to shit his pants in new surroundings
1
anuncommontruth Apr 1, 2026 +1
Lol they basically told him to eat shit and he stormed out crying. Suck it president chode.
1
davdev Apr 1, 2026 +1
He is literally the least intimidating person I could think of. I honestly have no idea how people dont just laugh in his face constantly.
1
liftbikerun Apr 1, 2026 +1
Well he left early after ~~a code brown~~ he got his ass handed to him.
1
The_Playbook88 Apr 1, 2026 +1
He is likely lonely. We should all go there to keep him company.
1
AINonsense Apr 1, 2026 +1
Look at all that independent judiciary! Look how blind that justice is! The best that money (and RVs) can buy.

1

Protest poster concept: Lady ~~Liberty~~ Justice, blindfold pulled up to her forehead, eyes wide.
1
MalevolentTapir Apr 1, 2026 +1
Good job phrasing this like he's won an award and it's not a bizarre and obvious attempt to influence the supreme court.
1
uteman1011 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Yup, that's exactly what this is. He's trying to influence (intimidate) proceedings. It's insane that SCOTUS would actually allow him in the building!
1
FoxInACozyScarf Apr 1, 2026 +1
Wonder if he flew in the Justices’ brothers to sit beside him.
1
Hoppers-Body-Double Apr 1, 2026 +1
Hahaha, I posted that picture in another post. God damned Frank Pentangeli is still alive & making jokes in 2026.
1
FoxInACozyScarf Apr 1, 2026 +1
I thought nobody would get it 😂
1
Hoppers-Body-Double Apr 1, 2026 +1
I now have reading glasses and a favorite spatula & burner. So yeah, I'm old enough for the reference. haha
1
Ok_Breakfast4482 Apr 1, 2026 +1
It is, but it’s even more insane that they would grant him immunity to break the law, so letting him in the building isn’t as much of a surprise in the current era.
1
I_am_BrokenCog Apr 1, 2026 +1
Al Capone enters the Supreme Court.
1
genericusername11101 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Yup, calling it “historic” makes it sound like its a good thing. Its fascism.
1
CougdIt Apr 1, 2026 +1
It makes it sound unprecedented. Which it is. I don’t see any positive connotation here.
1
BanginNLeavin Apr 1, 2026 +1
I think people jumping to 'historic' being good shows a great deal about public education and critical thinking.
1
mrparoxysms Apr 1, 2026 +1
"Historic first" is common phrasing for positive news. Don't be an a******.
1
BanginNLeavin Apr 1, 2026 +1
Using nuclear weapons in WWII was a historic first but go on.
1
fly1away Apr 1, 2026 +1
And is it ever described that way?
1
BanginNLeavin Apr 1, 2026 +1
5th mention of the word historic: https://share.google/7tZQchTFo1QeHZTmN
1
genericusername11101 Apr 1, 2026 +1
If you dont think the article is being phrased like this on purpose, I can tell you who lacks critical thinking.
1
starliteburnsbrite Apr 1, 2026 +1
Imagine being intimidated by an elderly, infirm, fat f****** moron, sitting there pooping his diaper, wearing a fake tan and a combover.
1
Psychological_Top148 Apr 1, 2026 +1
How else would one convey its significance? The average person would likely not realize that his attendance is not the norm. Removing “historic first” would lend itself to normalizing his behavior, imo.
1
greeneggsnyams Apr 1, 2026 +1
"unprecedented"
1
Tomyd1924 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Funny how he could attend this court case but none of the ones brought against him.
1
OdiousAltRightBalrog Apr 1, 2026 +1
I wonder how many times he'll fall asleep, then wake up shouting "I plead the Fifth!"
1
Caymonki Apr 1, 2026 +1
Or how he (or his family) couldn’t vote in person. But he can break all precedent to attend this case in person?
1
gobbluth25 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Later……Trump, in historic first, falls asleep while attending Supreme Court.
1
Psychological_Top148 Apr 1, 2026 +1
His eyes needed a rest after all that glaring at “his” justices.
1
Disastrous_Sky_73 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Even later, n historic first, court evacuated because he shit his diaper…
1
imanchats Apr 1, 2026 +1
Trump erodes separation of powers by attending birthright citizenship case. There. That should be the headline.
1
Lostsailor73 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Sub headline: Trump falls asleep after 3 minutes of deliberation. Derides Sleepy Joe Biden on court house steps.
1
Professional_Row_307 Apr 1, 2026 +1

Aww, he thinks he's intimidating! Little scamp!
1

Even if he was more intimidating ... they have lifetime appointments. He can't do anything to them and they know it.

1

1
sthlmsoul Apr 1, 2026 +1
Fun times ahead! Trump will absolutely fall asleep and theres also 100% chance he will speak of in court even though he is not part of the proceedings. That will be really interesting because Roberts would actually have to tell him to shut up to restore order.
1
BurnedWitch88 Apr 1, 2026 +1
He 100% thinks it's going to be like the back end of a L&O episode. When he realizes it's a bunch of nerds droning on about shit he's never heard of he'll leave early.
1
JuJu_Wirehead Apr 1, 2026 +1

He’ll be asleep before they all take the bench.
1
stoner38 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Is this even legal?! Oh wait, its fascist Trump!
1
JFJinCO Apr 1, 2026 +1
As a racist and white supremacist, this decision is close to his heart. Let's hope SCOTUS upholds the Constitution, and not the whims of a demagogue.
1
Suz536 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Purely an intimidation factor, but he will doze off making him look like the weak dementia ridden man he is. The 14 th amendment is clear. If they strike the 14 th amendment down then Congress needs to investigate the judges for corruption.

All the comments here and the fact it is getting him press. My husband who did work in journalism when we had journalism in this country does state the man is a genius at getting the press to write about him. No such thing as bad press.
1
DrMacintosh01 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Any bets on how many times he will shit his pants during the proceedings?
1
Low_Brass_Rumble Apr 1, 2026 +1
On one hand, if I was president, I’d probably be tempted to do the same thing - Supreme Court arguments are an incredibly interesting process that not many people get to witness, and I’ve always wanted a chance to sit in. On the other hand, Trump is Trump. The only “academic curiosity” he has is for grade-school girls. He’s clearly inserting himself into this to try and influence the judicial process in violation of the separation of powers.
1
JRogeroiii Apr 1, 2026 +1
I don't understand why they would expect to win this. The 14th amendment isn't ambigous about this. Is uses pretty clear language. Their only argument is the authors didn't actually mean what they wrote.
1
Icy-Clerk-7715 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Trump is a piece of shit
1
pqratusa Apr 1, 2026 +1
This is historic shitshow. The president cannot enter Congress without an invitation. The same should be for the Supreme Court.
1
Iribumkiak Apr 1, 2026 +1
Trump is trying to intimidate the Supreme Court justices.
1
AsparagusCertain9373 Apr 1, 2026 +1
I don’t know how in the world you’d slice his recent post about “babies of slaves” positively.  Does he consider illegal immigrants our slaves?  Or is he sending them to countries where they will be slaves?  And now he’s going to try and (presumably) intimidate the Supreme Court?   I feel like I should not read the news as much.  It’s not good for my blood pressure 🤣
1
Grey_Matter_121 Apr 1, 2026 +1
By "Babies of slaves" he was pretty obviously talking about African Americans. If he can intimidate SCOTUS into saying that the Constitution doesn't really mean that anyone born in the US is a citizen then he can argue that African Americans aren't really citizens just because they were born here. From there it's a short leap to trying to make everyone born in the US pass some sort of idiotic loyalty test to be a citizen. Only an idiot thinks that the conservatives don't want to deport anyone they deem not "white and patriotic enough".
1
Borgmaster Apr 1, 2026 +1
Whats crazy is we actually moved away from that well before the 40s as even the h******* racist judges couldnt really validate that claim anymore. Sure they were gonna screw over anyone with a skin pigment but they werent gonna do it on citizenship stuff anymore.
1

I can’t help but feel like we are watching in real time how Russia got to where it is today. Like the take over of Russia’s baby democracy by Putin and how they installed an authoritarian oligarchy is very similar to what we are seeing unfold here in the US. Bitterness about how our government was/is running made way for people to believe Trumps BS about draining the swamp and eliminating fraud. We are so close to our democracy dying. At least that’s how it feels watching this administration escape any consequences.
1

1

This feels like one of those scenes from a movie where the mob boss sits in the audience at a trial to intimidate a witness.
1
Cyrano_Knows Apr 1, 2026 +1
Trump's grandfather Friedrick Trump fled Germany to escape their compulsory military service because of course he did. Trump's own father, Fred Trump was born to immigrant parents and was only a citizen because of the 14th "birthright" amendment. Trump's wife, well we all know she was born in Slovenia and got her citizenship through an "Einstein visa" for immigrants with extraordinary talent and ability -which in her case was \*checks notes\* being a fashion model. Melania then later sponsored her parents for US Citizenship.
1
Basicyeti837 Apr 1, 2026 +1
It’s all a joke. Trump was there to intimidate. He has about a third grade level of comprehension, so he had no idea what was actually going on. Of course he stormed out after realizing they weren’t just blindly complying with his request.
1
TheForeverUnbanned Apr 1, 2026 +1
Correction, he attended half of it, and left after the SC absolutely trashed his solicitor general.
1

1

He can attend the Scotus in person but votes by mail? His children are citizens because of Birthright Citizenship. Then EO’s mail in voting? Rules for thee.
1

1
phixitup Apr 1, 2026 +1
It’s nice that commenters on Listnook see it for what it is. I wonder if anyone in the media will report it as a clear conflict of interest and an abuse of power on his part? I also wonder if there’s anyone who will ask him to his face why he thought it appropriate to be there? And to then be ready to ask him if he knows what the separation of powers even means?
1
To-Far-Away-Times Apr 1, 2026 +1
He had time for this but did not have time to release the Trump/Epstein pedo files or investigate why Hegseth murdered 150 children in an elementary school with a tomahawk missile. This…. This is his priority?

1
