On the other hand, Trump is Trump. The only “academic curiosity” he has is for grade-school girls. If he can intimidate SCOTUS into saying that the Constitution doesn't really mean that anyone born in the US is a citizen then he can argue that African Americans aren't really citizens just because they were born here.
