2much2Jung Mar 26, 2026 +1
You know what they call doing the same thing, over and over, and expecting different results?

Black-Zero Mar 26, 2026 +1
When the Blue Wave hits, Trump is just going to declare the election fraudulent. Claiming 50 different BS reasons and refuse to honor the results. Then the SCOTUS will support it. DNC will write a strongly worded letter.

ChromaticDragon Mar 26, 2026 +1
Were you paying attention in 2021? Remember how there were *dozens* of court cases of supposed fraud all over the country? Almost every single last one of these were essentially laughed out of court. There is not one election. Team Trump cannot just cry to SCOTUS. It simply does not work this way... at all. There is no reason to suppose Team Trump will fare any better in the courts than he did in 2021. We do need to be concerned about voter suppression stuff such as ICE at polling stations or this goofy Save Act. But we do not need this nonsensical doomerism that relies upon an overly simplistic view of any of this works.

After that election there was a mob in DC, trying to overturn the results... do you not remember that part? It didn't succeed because a few key figures, including Pence, weren't on board. Trump's entire first term was defined by his bombastic nonsense being reigned in by his aides and regular government employees saying "this would be illegal actually." They purged all those people. That's one of the main things they've done this time around. Maybe they won't succeed, but it's blatantly obvious that they're going to try again, and they are definitely in a better position to pull it off given their control of all 3 branches of government as of today.

In 2021 there were Adults in office now it is all yes men. 2026 is a new beast entirely. Anything is possible.
1
Aggressive-Ring489 Mar 26, 2026 +1
That will definitely happen. But I think the more urgent concern is that trump is going to seize the ballots.
1
Black-Zero Mar 26, 2026 +1
of course, cannot have evidence that proves he lost.

From Bloomberg News reporters Catherine Lucey, Hadriana Lowenkron, and Annmarie Hordern: President Donald Trump insisted Republicans have momentum in the upcoming midterm elections, even as the party faces a harsh electoral landscape and pressure from the White House over legislative priorities. “We have a hot party,” Trump said Wednesday in an address to the National Republican Congressional Committee’s annual fundraising dinner at Washington’s Union Station. > President Donald Trump insisted Republicans have momentum… That momentum that they feel is from sliding backwards down a hill during special elections throughout the nation. Daily Beast - [Democrats Flip Mar-a-Lago in Personal Humiliation for Trump](https://www.thedailybeast.com/democrats-flip-mar-a-lago-in-personal-humiliation-for-trump/) “Democrats have now flipped 30 state seats since Trump’s election, including the Florida seats in Tuesday’s special elections. Republicans have flipped zero. Earlier this month, Democrats also flipped a New Hampshire seat that Trump won easily in both 2020 and 2024, as well as an Arkansas one, where the Democrat won by double digits.”

I now what to see a meme of Paris Hilton but Trump's face mash-up and says 'Republicans "that's hot" '.
1
PaulyKPykes Mar 26, 2026 +1
Honestly can we just stop reporting on things Trump says. Like there's no point listening to him nothing he says is true or consistent ever.

Passionpet Mar 26, 2026 +1
Banking on the stupidity of Americans. You lowly Americans have elected him twice. Not hard to believe you measles-ridden peasants will live down to expectations.

I really hope he and the GOP huff his farts so much that they don't realize they've been asphyxiating themselves until they're seconds from passing out.
1
Gold_Drummer_4077 Mar 26, 2026 +1
GOP is a contagion people use to exact revenge and/or make sure the poor stay poor and the rich stay rich. They were never popular unless they were forced to put a gimmick con man as the candidate. They ruin the economy and make the world a much sadder place.
1
All_Hail_Hynotoad Mar 26, 2026 +1
Hot mess, yes.
1
PainttheTownLead Mar 26, 2026 +1
Inconsequential all things considered, but when did he start saying “hot” so much? I don’t remember him saying it at all during his first term and it’s not like it’s new slang that’s taken off since then. I feel like his advancing dementia and constantly thinking about the Epstein files has reverted him back to when it was all happening circa 2003 and he’s talking like Paris Hilton.

Zedditron Mar 26, 2026 +1
Yep, everyone wants them! Out of our government!
