This headline is a ridiculous softball, our leaders should be held to a higher standard than what he posted today.

bwoah07_gp2 Apr 6, 2026 +88
The news media are doing an incredible job at not shining the spotlight on Trump's madness.

ebulient Apr 6, 2026 +17
He’s sick and in hospital. He’s literally having a stroke cos he’s failed so publicly in Iran and is throwing a fit!
17
denNISI Apr 6, 2026 +2
Knows what is coming?
2
blondie_peaches- Apr 6, 2026 +34
How about they’re held to ANY STANDARD, not just a higher one. Society has become uncouth and until people are called out for entitled behaviour, we will never get better.
34
Silver-End9570 Apr 6, 2026
Society hasn't *become* uncouth. It was *always* uncouth. People just feel a hell of a lot more comfortable about showing/being open about it now.

Granted.

If someone thinks Trump is cares or follows Christian values, then that person should finally read the book!
2
Sweatytubesock Apr 6, 2026 +4
It’s absurd. The media might as well be literally licking his filthy ass.
4
ArgetlamThorson Apr 6, 2026 +1
Is there any day he's in office that's not true?
1
Top_Chef Apr 6, 2026 -3
Would you rather he SLAMMED, SIDESWIPED, or BACKFIRE? Take your pick of daily beast articles.
-3
SprightlyCompanion Apr 6, 2026 +244
"Invokes religious rhetoric," wtf is this sanewashing horseshit
244
Aust1mh Apr 6, 2026 +185
Don’t worry… the white washing has already started with edits show “praise be to god” removing Allah and people denying he ever said it. Red hats glaze hard to protect the pedo
185
karny90 Apr 6, 2026 +44
Lmao they edited it and are pretending he never said it? Do they not know how the internet works?
44
AxiomaticSuppository Apr 6, 2026 +37
You can fill an encyclopedia with a list of things they don't understand.
37
DazDaSpazz Apr 6, 2026 +13
So just a normal encyclopaedia?
13
RELEASE_THE_YEAST Apr 6, 2026 +11
The original post is still up on his Truth account.
11
nhalliday Apr 6, 2026 +7
It doesn't really matter in the current day and age, saying something now is almost as good as it being true. By the time anyone can verify you're lying everyone has moved on.
7
jpharber Apr 6, 2026 -19
You did read the article right? It direct references his use of “praise be to Allah”. I’m pretty sure he said “Praise be to God” (or something to that effect” on Saturday though.
-19
tinbuddychrist Apr 6, 2026 +6
Yeah, the article specifically says he said "Praise be to God" on Meet the Press, and said "Praise be to Allah" on Truth Social.
6
Timeline_in_Distress Apr 6, 2026 +44
Who cares. We have enough evidence since 2016 to know that anything out of his mouth is either a lie, gross exaggeration, or nonsense. The media is part of the problem. Report on what really matters.
44
despenser412 Apr 6, 2026 +13
Don't forget: Trump still sells autographed USA bibles online for $1,000. It's basically Christian toilet paper.
13
WynterKnight Apr 6, 2026 +28
Donald Trump, the president of the United States, says "Praise Allah" on Easter Sunday. Evangelicals everywhere are calling for his removal. The Christian masses are calling him a Muslim.
28
ImpulseAfterthought Apr 6, 2026 +2
I'd like to see some evidence for this.
2
WynterKnight Apr 6, 2026 +3
It's called sarcasm; presented in favor of political commentary. Unless you mean the first part in which you need to check the horse's mouth.
3
IceMysterious3056 Apr 6, 2026 +61
Is he even christian...isn't he an atheist atp.
61
leisurechef Apr 6, 2026 +166
No he’s a pedophile
166
IceMysterious3056 Apr 6, 2026 +17
Ya, at least this is a fact.
17
dokikod Apr 6, 2026 +8
The story about Trump's accuser in the Epstein files was hitting too close to home for this evil, evil man. That is the entire reason he started this war.
8
JamesTheJerk Apr 6, 2026 +1
Yup, he's Christian alright.
1
i_did_nothing_ Apr 6, 2026 +1
So Christian then?
1
Darkone539 Apr 6, 2026 -9
So he could be catholic?
-9
macromorgan Apr 6, 2026 +36
He believes in god. He just so happens to believe he is that god.
36
tripping_yarns Apr 6, 2026 +16
He’s not anything that requires a commitment to thinking. He just presents what will serve him best. In D&D his alignment would be chaotic stupid.
16
rdtusrname Apr 6, 2026 +1
If we were serious, he would be Chaotic Evil, like 100%. But that's easy, I am interested in how his stats would look like.
1
CalbotPimp Apr 6, 2026 +2
His charisma would be negative 77
2
rdtusrname Apr 6, 2026 +1
What of Wisdom? I don't think he even has bad CHA, but WIS is ... omg! Don't learn from mistakes, oblivious to everything ... basic hallmarks of super low WIS. And I believe that most of his "bad Charisma" moments come from (super) bad Wisdom.
1
Hieroflippant Apr 6, 2026 +1
Why ? Are Christians the "good" ones now ? What changed ?
1
Earthsoundone Apr 6, 2026 +1
Atp?
1
EldritchMacaron Apr 6, 2026 +2
Adenosine Triphosphate ?
2
cjh93 Apr 6, 2026 +2
At this point
2
AbleCap5222 Apr 6, 2026 -5
Absolutely not.
-5
Leather-Map-8138 Apr 6, 2026 +8
Just wait till the other side makes it a religious war, instead of stealing their oil.
8
planetarybum Apr 6, 2026 +8
Trump is too fixated and emotional to lead the country. This isn't a Die-hard movie, it's real.
8
Loose-Cicada5473 Apr 6, 2026 +6
He’s not praising Allah be real, what he’s doing is making fun of another religion, using words like a child would which isn’t any better.
6
evasandor Apr 6, 2026 +10
damn sanewashing headline
10
Gelkago Apr 6, 2026 +26
F*** this paywall shit to just read the news, your ads are already intrusive enough.
26
leisurechef Apr 6, 2026 +8
Weird, no paywall for me?
8
DerBingle78 Apr 6, 2026 +5
Cool, what’s it say?
5
SeaCounter9516 Apr 6, 2026 +14
“The Easter miracle is considered the greatest victory in history," Bessent said on X. "And so, it (is) fitting on this holiest of Christian days that a brave American warrior was rescued from behind enemy lines in one of the greatest search and rescue missions in military history."
14
DerBingle78 Apr 6, 2026 +8
Thank you, I appreciate it! Also, f*** those guys.

____DEADPOOL_______ Apr 6, 2026 +2
Depends on your country. Sometimes they give you a few free articles and eventually you can't read more. They ask you to pay some sort of subscription to read the one article you may read all year.
2
Green_L3af Apr 6, 2026
Do you think journalist should work for free?
0
Crimsonsworn Apr 6, 2026 +4
Isn’t that why they infest their websites with ads
4
Green_L3af Apr 6, 2026 -1
Reuters doesn't do that. Also would you rather ad companies pay journalist or people? Someone is paying the media and that's who they will write for.
-1
Gelkago Apr 6, 2026 +3
No, definitely not, did Mr Roger's work for free? Did ChrisChristopherson work for free? No. But you also never paid them a monthly fee dumbass. Public service like honest journalism are supported and should continue to be supported in other ways, they completely lose their effectiveness if the individual needs to pay to access their journalism.
3
Green_L3af Apr 6, 2026 -2
So you believe journalism is a public service and government should pay? You sound like a dumbass that loves free propaganda
-2
tecdaz Apr 6, 2026 +10
Didn't think his posts could get crazier, but there you have it
10
ViolettaQueso Apr 6, 2026 +3
He’s outta his mind. Anything he says needs to stay in his own circle. Leave the rest of us out of it.
3
mitchsn Apr 6, 2026 +3
Cosplay Christian
3
ghost_n_the_shell Apr 6, 2026 +4
The USA should be embarrassed by this administrations behaviour. They have destroyed years of credibility on the world stage. It’s like some folks can’t see their behaviour is akin to the three stooges. Except much more criminal.
4
BernardMatthewsNorf Apr 6, 2026 +7
I figured this unscrupulous, amoral conman would reach for the religion card if he got desperate enough.
7
Consistent-Song1643 Apr 6, 2026 +3
Just happened to be the religion his cult....isn't
3
CreamFuture9475 Apr 6, 2026 +1
Christian Trump supporters are like self proclaimed vegans eating meat.
1
pete_68 Apr 6, 2026 +5
But he's such a great Christian. He loves both of the Corinthians.
5
LiteratureMindless71 Apr 6, 2026 +5
I have a vague memory of him doing some sort of walk in the streets for some promotion but it showed him holding the Bible upside down and there was some other controversy about it....maybe to do with forcing certain people off the streets for the shot or something? How does the "religious right" find their savior in this? I'm not trying to knock religion by any means but really? This is the guy you rally behind?
5
ImpulseAfterthought Apr 6, 2026 +2
He says mean things about people they don't like. That's literally it.
2
CalbotPimp Apr 6, 2026 +1
What people are missing is that the “religious right” isn’t the “Evangelical Right” of old, they have been replaced by the “Pentecostal Right” and they believe things like demons are real and here and possessing anyone who disagrees with them and it’s their job to bring about the return of Jesus, hell even Vance a “Catholic” just claimed ufo’s are demons and he is going to get to the bottom of it. It would not surprise me one bit if they believe that when Trump is rambling/saying incoherent shit that he is speaking in tongues
1
KlikketyKat Apr 6, 2026 +7
Blatant strategy to keep credulous religious voters onside at a time when his voter base is thinning out due to his increasingly unpopular policies.
7
LincolnHighwater Apr 6, 2026 +5
Exactly what someone who wants peace with a Muslim theocracy would do!
5
commentman10 Apr 6, 2026 +4
Racist being racist. While saying theyre not racist. Brought to you by conservatives
4
gao7on Apr 6, 2026 +2
As long as his base, the far-right Christian fundamentalists, is appeased, he'll put on the red cloak and continue to spoon feed the 40% 'Mericans with gospel hooliganism.
2
AdTiny2166 Apr 6, 2026 +2
Draws criticism? Say it isn’t so?!? However will this eloquent and respectful leader ever recover from being mildly criticized?
2
Worst_Comment_Evar Apr 6, 2026 +2
Leaders model behavior for the people they lead. Parents, managers, mentors all are expected to show restraint, be accountable, and show others what we aspire to be. Trump takes all of that, wipes his ass with it, and still expects everyone to approve and dote on him. He is a painfully insecure man with pretty well documented mental issues like NPD -- he should not be in charge of a Wendy's fast food joint, much less a country.
2
Peter225B Apr 6, 2026 +3
He’s mental.
3
humboldtHue Apr 6, 2026 +2
That’s a much nicer headline than, TRUMP SHITS ALL OVER HIMSELF
2
Namastebruh Apr 6, 2026 +4
Couldn't be more over this man's contempt for basic human decency .
4
EdiblePeasant Apr 6, 2026 +1
For a moment I thought the headline said he was praising Iran.
1
Over-Willingness-933 Apr 6, 2026 +1
Trump is trolling the regime. He is using their language against them. Many of Trump's backers in this war are Muslim.
1
Cynical_Classicist Apr 6, 2026 +1
Deserves a stronger headline than this.
1
Consistent-Leek4986 Apr 6, 2026 +1
his god is fake gold
1
PansarPucko Apr 6, 2026 +1
Yes, it was totally an Easter Miracle and not trained people doing what they're trained to do in situations like these ^(/S)
1
DrStrangelove2025 Apr 6, 2026 +1
I wonder if fundamentalist extremists are the only people he has to pander to.
1
Hat_Maverick Apr 6, 2026 +1
The pilots wouldn't have even been in danger if he hadn't started a war for 0 reason
