The key word, is “attempting.” He will not succeed. The EO seeks to throw red meat to a shrinking base.

If I had a dime for every time I saw a headline “court blocks unconstitutional thing Trump ordered” I’d have like… Idk. At least $70 since Jan 2025

It’s all good, surely the republican congress, senate, and Supreme Court will correct this egregious error.

Anything he does is ok *for him* to do it in his mushed brain, b/c he's President: mail-in voting, pedophilia, r***, etc.

how big is this small government that the Rep want so much
15
cam_whisper Apr 1, 2026 +6
Expert says he has no authority to do that.

Stinja808 Apr 1, 2026 +11
he has no authority to do most of the things he's done so far. that hasn't stopped him from still doing it and letting the courts fight him on it.

He doesn't have the enforcement option either. States will continue to be free to vote by mail.

Small enough that no corporation has to listen to it, but big enough to be in people's bathrooms, in people's voting habits, and controlling the people, not corporations.

Except they want to control corporations by picking winners of mergers and takeovers, for the right price.

He can go f*** himself with his executive orders.

GOP Congress is enabling this. Vote accordingly.

Doctor_Shotbottom Apr 1, 2026 +1
Exactly. There’s no room in Congress, either party, for supporting this man. Clean house. Sweep, sweep, sweep. Same for senate.

Illegal by the way

Cosmic_Seth Apr 1, 2026 +3
USPS will follow the order. And I doubt any court case will conclude by Nov. Also remember that the Supreme Court already ruled that the USPS can freely choose not to deliver mail.

So what happened to let the states figure it out? MAGA are such hypocrites,

Basically I see red states letting this happen and it is going to be a total s show. Not only that with mail in voting gone I foresee reduction of polling places next with ICE guarding the few remaining.

TheGOPisTheDeepState Apr 1, 2026 +5
Illegal, unconstitutional, and expected since those are core values for being a Republican…they hate the law and wipe their ass with the constitution.

revcraigevil Apr 1, 2026 +4
He seems to forget that the states regulate voting laws. Of course he is senile so he forgets everything.

President Donald Trump signed a sweeping executive order Tuesday that purports to change rules for mail ballots even though the president has limited authority over elections. The order directs the U.S. Postal Service to send ballots only to voters who appear on a list of citizens to be compiled by the Department of Homeland Security with the assistance of the Social Security Administration. The order also specifies what types of secure envelopes are to be used for mail ballots. Elections experts called the order legally questionable and noted that courts blocked the major provisions of an executive order on elections he signed last year. "The order directs the U.S. Postal Service to send ballots only to voters who appear on a list of citizens to be compiled by the Department of Homeland Security" Let me guess, the list will heavily tilt toward registered Republicans?

ProstheticAttitude Apr 1, 2026 +9
They're just going to not deliver them in blue states, I imagine.

Opposite-Bit6660 Apr 1, 2026 +3
The postal service has win the right to really, really delay the mail.

Doctor_Shotbottom Apr 1, 2026 +5
He’s trying to rig the election. He doesn’t even care who’s watching. He says the quiet part out loud.

ahdidi413 Apr 1, 2026 +3
But I was told by the admin that they and their agenda were immensely popular - square that with the desire to limit people voting please.

Doctor_Shotbottom Apr 1, 2026 +2
NO. F*** no. Crawl back into your hovel Donald. Stop meddling with elections.

tducote13 Apr 1, 2026 +2
This is unconstitutional & he can’t do it. Period. He lies about everything that comes out of his mouth. He just can’t admit to the truth. FAKE NEWS @ it’s Best. 💙💙💙

Oregon and Arizona have already begun the process of suing him. Marc Elias won't be far behind. They were waiting for this.

"trump issue EO to rename the planet 'trump' starting today"...just as valid. Shit! Give him a little pad and let him sit with that fat sharpie in his little fist and write them all day!

This could easily backfire on trump… how many of his voters can’t find a birth certificate, a passport….
