Alternatively, they could make sure they pass a what are we making bill that enough Democrats would sign onto it to override a veto. When you’re in a losing position, or don’t have the cards to play, you gotta do the next best thing. And if they actually cared about solving this issue. They should just go ahead and work with the Democrats, get an overwhelming majority, past the bill, make it veto proof and we move on.

So there's a legitimate airport security crisis with TSA understaffed and lines getting worse, Republicans actually tried to fix it, and Trump killed the funding because... why exactly? He's deploying ICE agents to airports instead of just funding the agency that actually does airport security.

We really need a separate funding bill for all the agencies that directly bring money into the country, like TSA and air traffic controllers.
