At this point, how does anyone still take this guy seriously? How can anyone watch his entire trajectory and still come away thinking he’s trustworthy? The fact that nearly half the country continues to support him is proof that, no matter what happens in the midterms or the next presidential election, the U.S. is heading down the same road that has brought down every dominant power before it. In 2032 or 2036, someone just as vile as Trump will probably be elected, and the whole cycle will begin again.
