Also, I want to tell you that I love Canada. You're our brothers and sisters. Just know we don't all hate you, everyone I know loves you. Even the conservatives that aren't MAGA. I'm so sorry friend.

It's part of how Trump manages to be so two-faced. His online persona and his FOX persona are two very different things that they work very hard to keep separate because they appeal to two very different audiences.

That's why people acting like he's got some special kind of charisma or appeal drive me crazy. No, he's the equivalent of everyone's dunbass racist uncle shit posting on Facebook all day long. He rambles pure gibberish non stop. He only has the appeal these propaganda machines build up FOR him. People naively thinking they won't be able to elevate anyone else to his level is ignoring the big picture. I'll be ecstatic when he's finally gone, but I equally fear who comes after. The devil you know and all that.

Fox News just ignores anything crazy trump does. Or they just leave it out. They also translate what he says to make it seem normal. I check it out whenever there's a big trump shit storm and if I only read or watched fox I'd think his actions were completely normal.
Everything he does is reasonable and in fact genius according to fox.

Everyday Fox News has the same three things on its headlines.
1) what trump did was great/showed strength.
2) democrats are really bad.
3) opinion piece on what trump is doing is great. (Or how the democrats are bad)

rizorithMar 23, 2026

Yeah, and occasionally they'll have a mild meaningless criticism of something he's done so they call it "fair and balanced" .
Scary thing is CNN and CBS are already shifting to ignoring his crazy and normalizing what he does. They aren't quite all Dems are bad yet but they've only started moving maga in the past month or so.

I never watch their broadcast, but I check their site occasionally, and they never report directly on stuff like this. Instead they report on the Right's *reaction* to it. This allows them to bury the actual statement in the 5th paragraph, after they've dogpiled on it.

Because sometimes the propaganda and spin is as much about what you say as it is about what you don’t say.
Compare Fox News headlines and the rest of the MSM and often they focus on other BS stories instead of covering anything that reflects negative on Trump.
There was a famous incident in April of last year where Fox News ran story after story about a low level fencing competition and how a competitor took a knee to avoid sparing against a transgender competitor. Meanwhile the stock market was crashing as tariffs were upsetting the economy. Of course 🦗about any of that…instead just focus on a culture war issue!

Honest question - how is there not any regulation on what gets to be called “News”? We have/had all these other consumer regulations in place, yet Fox “News”, who by their own admission isn’t even real news, gets to freely parade around spooning propagandized bullshit into the ignorant masses’ mouths under the guise of being factual.

This is why MAGA even exists, in part. Fox news and Sinclair media only air parts of Trump where he looks competent. They don't air his word scrambled speeches, him doddering around like a feeble elderly man, his nasty tweets he makes every other day.
When MAGA does encounter something that sounds insane from Trump,, they just chalk it up to it being the "liberal" media lying.

Here's the thing. Whatever you want to say about Trump, ok he lies 79 times a day, but at bottom he's not a phony. He makes no bones about being a monster. THAT's not the issue. The issue is that he wasn't long, long ago prosecuted, shunned, laughed/scorned into oblivion, as opposed to being made the most powerful human being on the planet. Which is entirely on you OTHER shitheads. You must be pretty awful too. Seriously.

People also went to jail and Mueller found at minimum 10 counts of obstruction by Trump himself but was handcuffed from doing anything by Barr. Seeing his report in Congress was sad, he was basically begging them to take action without going outside of the strict bounds put on him by the AG.
