All the dolts who were mad at the 6B the Democrats released will be very glad to know that this only cost 20B to get the uranium + the billions spent on the war.
Art of the Deal.

Obama gave back money originally belonging to Iran. Trump is paying for Uranium and the cash, when it is sold, will probably go into an unmonitored account in Qatar.

Which means fuckall. The bulk of people in the USA with anything in the market have it in their retirement. I don't give a shit what the market is doing, I know it's going to explode before I retire. Even if somehow it doesn't, I optimistically won't retire for another thirty years. F*** what the market is doing.

You should have been putting extra cash in after-tax accounts during the dip. Everyone who thought this was the end of the west was hilarious.
I’m off to buy a movie projector with gains today.

I'm guessing you're a complete f****** idiot who thinks everything is totally fine and normal and argues with people online about how any hardship is their own fault and they should just get tuggin on those bootstraps. Just invest your extra cash bro!
I'm doing fine. Probably better than you, not that it matters at all.

This is the last reply I'm going to give you because I can tell that you're a brainless fool and I'm wasting my time. The only sentiment I tried to convey is that the market is not indicative of how people in America are doing. It is completely divorced from the lives of the majority of normal people. If you think otherwise, there is no amount of education in the world that could possibly save you.

What a wrong opinion
You understand the importance of equity, and market growth to the viability of businesses right? If companies are not doing well, they don’t hire people, they don’t spend money on R&D. The government will collect less tax revenue..
If what you say is true then the Great Depression or recession should have only impacted rich people right?
Oh wait you won’t reply. Come back bb, I’ll be good this time. I SWEARS!!

So markets doing swell but trumps job numbers are negative and everyone’s laying everyone off but the market being good means all those companies are doing great not to mention the millions of immigrants we ejected who were also doing jobs so… where are the jobs? Why is everyone struggling to find work, especially work that can pay the bills? I feel like if your representation of the world is objectively wrong on just a cursory glance you should probably consider that it’s possibly wrong.

Not even mentioning the billions spent on the war. The billions lost in world revenue because of the closure to the straight and lasting damage to infrastructure. All for nothing to really change and to have iran stronger in the long run

Market sentiment is that major military escalation is less likely to happen now. Both US and Iran don’t seem to want more military fights.
Both sides will play games for the time being…

Just like most things Trump told on himself. He was saying Obama or Biden would start a war in Iran because of low polling. Trump was dumb enough to join Isreal because Republicans were clearly going to lose in the mid terms and he thought a war would rally everyone to his side.

That’s what happens when you keep a bloackade in place specifically for the nation you’re trying to get a peace deal from while letting everyone else pass through.
A bloackade is military action, you can’t sign a peace deal *and still do military action* then expect it to hold, that’s literally not how peace deals work.

Excerpt
"WASHINGTON, April 17 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday that the naval blockade on Iran will "remain in full force" until a deal with Tehran is struck.
"The Strait of Hormuz is completely open and ready for business and full passage, but the naval blockade will remain in full force and effect as it pertains to Iran, only, until such time as our transaction with Iran is 100% complete," he wrote on Truth Social in all caps."

Are Chinese ships allowed in and out of the strait again? If so, the US just gave up their biggest bargaining chip against China. Trump could have asked China for concessions (like forcing Iran to accept a deal or removing China’s tariffs on US imports) in exchange for opening up the strait.
-5
PayMeNoAttentionApr 17, 2026

They are allowed, just like they always have been, so long as the ship is not coming from an Iranian port. Or so says Trump…

lol if the US intentionally kept blocking Chinese ships it wouldn’t be considered a bargaining chip, it would’ve been considered an escalation against China which even Trump doesn’t want a major fight with right now.
