I had a feeling that Iran rug pull Trump and his buddy last week when Iran announced they’re opening up the strait. Suddenly the market movement wasn’t controlled by Trump. He is probably desperate to try to get it back under his control so he could continue to do his insider trading.

The S&P 500 was down 0.25 today, despite the ceasefire and the Strait being closed Friday night. the markets have stopped caring.

The markets are ignoring him. That's why they're still high up when the war announcements change every 3 days. But when it drops, it will crash.

Someone should remind these people that taking Iwo Jima resulted in nearly 26,000 American casualties, including ~6800 who died in action. And still they see it as an American success story.

It's way more complicated than that. And most Americans do not love trump. It's a vocal minority.

trump has multiple people in his inner circle running financial services companies. Bessent, Lutnick, Burgum, Kushner, and Don Jr. They're the ones placing the bets while trump orders Stephen Cheung to shitpost about Iran on Truth Social. It doesn't take a genius to pull off this basic corruption.
