"security concerns" is an interesting choice to say "he's f****** useless"
3484
Donnicton Apr 19, 2026 +436
Worse than useless, anyone and anything he visits for actively dies. He'd likely permanently kill any chance of a resolution.

Playful_Alela Apr 19, 2026 +113
The security concern is for the unfortunate souls that have to meet Vance and get the Vance Curse

Not very nice but still very evil.

4estGimp Apr 19, 2026 +23
He was set up to fail in the first talks though. Rump's directive was 100% compliance with the US wish list.
23
Bman10119 Apr 19, 2026 +12
Can we get him to visit trump then?
12
Bryllant Apr 19, 2026 +8
Don’t think that matters. Trump is itching to turn Iran to glass. btw Iran equals two and a half Texas. That will take a lot of ordnance
8
Kvenner001 Apr 19, 2026 +2
Have him go visit Putin.
2
Dry_Egg8180 Apr 19, 2026 +4
Oh please. Vance said exactly what Trump told him to say, nothing more and nothing less. Anyone who thinks Trump gave Vance any power to actually negotiate has not been paying attention.
4
Prior_Pickle1758 Apr 19, 2026 +407
Vance is also a threat to Trump’s power; Vance is lined up by Thiel / Opus Dei to be the first Alien AI Christianity Pope in a few years and Trump wants him close for that reason but not close enough that he usurps before Trump is off the throne.
407
the_original_Retro Apr 19, 2026 +358
It's both horrific and stunning that the current American government has fallen so far that this assemblage of random tin-foil-hat conspiracy-theory buzzwords actually mostly makes f****** sense.

elkarion Apr 19, 2026 +49
our checks and balances were based on nothing but honor that people would do the right thing. If that was True this country would never have been founded as the king of England would have been reasonable and we would not have needed to revolt. the fact our government lasted this long before some one realized all you have to do is get 41% of congress to do nothing and you can get away with anything. couple this with cops fraught and got the right to not enforce the law if they just dont feel like it and you get what we have now.

BestFriendWatermelon Apr 19, 2026 +21
The US was the first modern constitutional democracy. It's no surprise they made some mistakes, built a system with flaws that people wouldn't realise until later. The surprise was the hubris of Americans in thinking they had the perfect system for so long, despite all evidence to the contrary. Despite newer democracies copying the US system but fixing the glaring mistakes, Americans still wouldn't allow themselves to admit there's anything wrong with a democracy invented by people who lived centuries ago.
21
ekho44 Apr 19, 2026 +10
Funny thing is, not even the Founding Fathers thought they got everything right, yet somehow by the late 20th century the constitution became religious dogma.
10
sigmoid10 Apr 19, 2026 +24
The whole thing was still somewhat reasonable until the conservative majority in the supreme court ruled that Trump has absolute criminal immunity. As long as he does anything through official presidential channels (be it signing orders, commanding the military or negotiating treaties), he can break any law as much as he wants and noone can touch him. The only way to ever get rid of him is the senate, which of course was already hard before he was made legally untouchable. Now it is borderline impossible unless the supreme court one day decides that the senate can impeach at will and not just for reasons lined out in the constitution.
24
Prior_Pickle1758 Apr 19, 2026 +73
I honestly can’t believe I said it but I stand by it
73
MarshyHope Apr 19, 2026 +52
That's why I hope they do try and 25th amendment him. Start that republican split right now please
52
sparrowtaco Apr 19, 2026 +8
Impeachment is what you should be hoping for. Removing him via the 25th is even harder to pull off.
8
MarshyHope Apr 19, 2026 +7
I disagree. Impeachment won't happen because Republican politicians only look out for themselves. They see no benefit in impeachment as it means the cult will turn against them. But Vance has a lot to gain by exercising the 25th as it means he's next in line and would become president.
7
sparrowtaco Apr 19, 2026 +4
> But Vance has a lot to gain by exercising the 25th as it means he's next in line and would become president. What makes you think the Republicans would vote in favor of the 25th instead of impeachment?
4
Enervata Apr 19, 2026 +27
As long as Trump makes it past 2 years as President it means Vance can take over without it counting as a Presidential term. That gives Vance 10 years to rule. So expect all kinds of AI shenanigans until January if the President’s health takes a turn.
27
flirtmcdudes Apr 19, 2026 +31
you think JD Vance is going to win the next two presidential elections? Dude has negative charisma and is connected to all the bullshit going on right now. If he wins the primary it means republicans have no one
31
AcmeRacer8 Apr 19, 2026 +23
The next US election is going to be f****** wild to watch from afar. The fuckery that they will use to rig, bend, control, manipulate voters will be turned up to the max. I wonder if the run up to your mid-terms will give us a preview?
23
p_2923 Apr 19, 2026 +5
The American people will eat that shit right up, they are a bunch of sheeple.
5
TheNewGildedAge Apr 20, 2026 +4
Yup, just watch. I give it two months max before the right wing media monster convinces everyone that the opposition candidate is just as bad, spouting all the exact same "both sides" bullshit we've all heard for decades.
4
BigRedRobotNinja Apr 19, 2026 +16
Thiel and the other tech billionaires are gonna try to pull a Weekend at ~~Bernie's~~ *Trump's* until 1/20/27 because they've convinced themselves that they can somehow get JV Dance two more terms. They didn't ask me what I think about that, and they wouldn't listen to me anyway.
16
intelminer Apr 19, 2026 +5
JV Dance? He's *Panic! At The Sofa* thank you
5
Prior_Pickle1758 Apr 19, 2026 +14
It’s delusional of you to think that American power structures are a matter of vote-counting.
14
Prior_Pickle1758 Apr 19, 2026 +12
This. Ignore the naysayers who are telling you the rules will constrain them or typical political logic applies.
12
time_drifter Apr 19, 2026 +4
Well, the flatbed truck mounted goalposts have been moved from pedophile —> Pope is wrong —> Trump is greater than Jesus. I don’t think the 25th is coming to save us with a bunch of daddy issues Republicans driving.
4
Vio_ Apr 19, 2026 +25
Trump doesn't even want him on it after he's dead. Trump will burn the entire MAGA political structure and foundation to the ground as he lies in his death bed, thrashing from agony and ire. He would burn the world if he could. He does NOT want a successor on any level.
25
Atheist_3739 Apr 19, 2026 +8
It might mean he thinks they are actually close to a deal and doesn't want Vance to get the credit?
8
Vio_ Apr 19, 2026 +10
Trump already punted Vance to Pakistan while Trump stayed behind to attend some right wing rally. He jockeyed Vance to fight very publicly with the Pope full well knowing that the VP is "beholden" to the Pope as a Catholic an be humiliated as such.
10
Prior_Pickle1758 Apr 19, 2026 +3
No, Trump doesn’t want a deal. He wants capitulation which isn’t close to happening. There’s no world in which Trump agrees to the end of the Iran war.
3
DFWPunk Apr 19, 2026 +2
When asked last year Trump said Vance will not succeed him. Then he changed his tune. I'm curious what they said to him.
2
the_original_Retro Apr 19, 2026 +14
Or, Trump is looking for a different sacrificial lamb to throw under the bus after they can't fix this absolutely unfixable mess. This time.
14
mohawk_67 Apr 19, 2026 +16
Maybe they found out what he did to their couch and said never come back.
16
kendragon Apr 19, 2026 +14
Pakistan is worried about the security of their sofas.
14

He's just copying Erica. I hear that Security Concerns is now JDs code name for the secret service.

Citaszion Apr 19, 2026 +159
It was the opposite earlier this week [when Erika Kirk withdrew from her own TPUSA event due to “security concerns”](https://www.ctvnews.ca/world/article/erika-kirk-withdraws-from-event-with-jd-vance-over-threats-us-vp-says/), while JD Vance was there. Too risky for Erika Kirk, but not the Vice President of the USA. [The Secret Service then denied there were any concerns](https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/atlanta/news/secret-service-no-credible-threats-turning-point-uga-rally-erika-kirk/) lol
159
DFWPunk Apr 19, 2026 +94
Kirk didn't attend because she knew the event wasn't going to draw. And that's not just because of Vance. TPUSA is dying on the vine because Charlie was the draw.
94
whitethunder9 Apr 19, 2026 +52
Charlie could deftly spew the half truths and hate that made the right feel good. All Erika can seemingly do is grift off his death.
52
Saneless Apr 19, 2026 +32
Erika is more megachurch energy. Same weird stare and creepiness But C Kirk was more of an educated KKK leader and that's what TP fans really wanted Edit: C Kirk to be sure people knew who I was talking about
32
TheAnalogKid18 Apr 19, 2026 +13
Erika is Kenneth Copeland 2.0

He must like Vance. Didn't care about Pence's safety, obviously
22
secretaire Apr 19, 2026 +22
He doesn’t care about Vance’s safety either
22
Ilikepancakes87 Apr 19, 2026 +13
For real. “Security concerns” is code for “He didn’t get it done last time, so he’s not going back.”
13
Dad_of_the_year Apr 19, 2026 +3
He doesn't like anyone unless you have either a pair of t*** or a billion dollars...
3

/Removes tinfoil hat Vance cannot travel due to trump's poor health. Project 2025 needs Vance to replace trump. /Puts hat back on and shuts the faraday cage door.
8
Objectively_bad_idea Apr 19, 2026 +9
People shouldn't be allowed to write things like this. Because even though I know it's wild speculation, I get my hopes up that Trump's health has somehow got worse since Vance's trips earlier this month.
9
Moist_Emu_6951 Apr 19, 2026 +542
Agreed. The hot Pakistani weather is too risky for his mascara.
542
InsanelyAverageFella Apr 19, 2026 +119
Sam reason Trump can't go. His orange makeup will melt and run.
119
-You-know-it- Apr 19, 2026 +27
Also Trump’s geriatric ass would poop stain the couches and Vance would perv all over them.
27

Thanks for that image, dear Listnookor, just what I wanted on mind right before I sleep.
5
MacAndCheese45 Apr 19, 2026 +3
There’s no s*** couches either.
3
PansophicNostradamus Apr 19, 2026 +241
Security concerns? Even when Trump himself says: ***"The world respects us right now more than they have ever respected us before."*** So why would JD Vance have security concerns if we're so well respected? Pakistan is a non-NATO ally, and as such should harbor no ill-intent. Unless the above quote isn't true. Hmm...
241
ContentsMayVary Apr 19, 2026 +47
Yeah, I'm going to go with "not true". I don't think most people would respect a country led by a paedophile who raped children.

Wasn't Vance already in Pakistan? What's changed?
32
shubhamsah11 Apr 19, 2026 +8
Exactly. Wasn't he there to broker a deal which failed?
8
OkFix4074 Apr 20, 2026 +2
Iran ghosted them
2
mechy84 Apr 19, 2026 +132
Security?  It's because he might interfere with Kushner and Witkoff's goal of scrape some kind of financial gain from any deal made.
132
XRT28 Apr 19, 2026 +14
Like Vance is gonna stop that lol. He's in on the grift same as them
14
DarthEros Apr 19, 2026 +9
Trump doesn’t want Vance taking the credit for peace. He thinks he’s getting the Nobel out of this, apparently forgetting him and his Israeli handlers started the war in the first place.
9
Zealousideal_Bad_922 Apr 19, 2026 +3
This is my take. Trump expects this to go well so he’s sidelining the person he considers as competition.
3
BodybuilderUpbeat786 Apr 19, 2026 +25
Didn't Trump say he'll go to Islamabad himself? What changed? I take it he isn't going now.
25
Plzlaw4me Apr 19, 2026 +19
Remember in 2024 that Vance went to a donut place to order donuts to get some campaign footage and he was so awkward and weird that the Trump campaign genuinely wanted to replace him with RFK Jr. He lacks the social skills to order donuts without being awkward, but we think that he can negotiate peace with Iran?
19
Sans-valeur Apr 19, 2026 +15
Are they sending the tax on tips lady instead?
15
Sweatytubesock Apr 19, 2026 +28
Security concerns for the couches of Pakistan. The dipshit is completely useless anyway.
28
TriXter69 Apr 19, 2026 +28
No matter how many clowns he sends, the situation won't change. There's honestly no easy way to get out of this war
28
neroselene Apr 19, 2026 +4
Easiest way to get out of it was not to get involved in the first place when all his experts told him "this is a shit idea"
4
You_are_the_Castle Apr 19, 2026 +2
Yes, there is. Just walk away. Turn the ships around and leave the strait. Easy peasy.
2
marian_mina Apr 19, 2026 +16
It's not for his security, it's the security concern for everyone around him.
16
Objective-Clue5087 Apr 19, 2026 +5
This is Trump’s war. He should go.
5
CampEmbarrassed170 Apr 19, 2026 +18
Interesting that Pakistan’s military dictator who literally lives at the White House now and is very close buddy to Trump, witkoff and Jared couldn’t guarantee security for No 2??
18
Acadia02 Apr 19, 2026 +11
Damn, bro got sidelined by daddy.
11
Mba1956 Apr 19, 2026 +5
So Trump isn’t sending anyone in a position of power that they can make any decisions. Reminds me of the Japan trade deal where the Japanese delegation said what do you want from the deal, and the US negotiating team didn’t know so the Japanese left.
5
Malk_McJorma Apr 19, 2026 +5
Why isn't Rubio handling the talks?
5
Orpa__ Apr 19, 2026 +10
Nobody is targetting Vance before Kushner or Witkoff.
10
crazynewf7 Apr 19, 2026 +7
When a title starts with “Trump says” you know it’s going to be bullshit. Why would anyone believe anything the orange turd says.
7
Kinsbane Apr 19, 2026 +4
All I hear from this headline is, "Vance is a p****". Regardless of anything else, that's essentially what it boils down to.
4
BigDaddyVagabond Apr 19, 2026 +4
That "security" being that he's a dog shit negotiation and everything and every one he touches dies
4
Not_Sure__Camacho Apr 19, 2026 +4
Maybe he'll send Erika Kirk instead?  🤔

5
whimsical-crack-rock Apr 19, 2026 +3
we already did this one…. and the other when you threaten Iran to sign a deal or blow them up… we just f****** did these headlines lol
3
Darkstar197 Apr 19, 2026 +4
Everything illegal Trump does is justified by “national emergency”. Everything he avoids is due to “security concerns”. Every person he ever hires is the most qualified person to touch this earth until they slightly turn against them they they are “weak on x” and a RINO
4
Catsssssssss Apr 19, 2026 +5
I giggled at the suggestion of a security concern.. I am thinking it is more a concern over the guaranteed failure.
5
Strawhat_Max Apr 19, 2026 +4
#UPDATE FOR EVERYONE, IRAN SAID THEY AREN’T EVEN GOING TO THE TALKS, LETS SEE IF TRUMP BLOWS THEM UP NOW
4
Myko475 Apr 20, 2026 +2
The only thing he blows are the shit bubbles in his diapers.
2
riedhenry Apr 19, 2026 +7
If security is an issue, we should send Trump, alone, with his super-smart sons; they can serve as the security detail. Those three rock stars alone will do, and if things go bad, they go bad.
7
Basic_Yam_715 Apr 19, 2026 +3
Too many couches too little time.
3
toolatealreadyfapped Apr 19, 2026 +3
Lol. Yeah the "security concern" is that he's so incompetent, he might start a war with Pakistan while trying to awkwardly order a burger.
3
r21174 Apr 19, 2026 +3
All top government officials going hiding in there bunker and military bases.
3
Roselily808 Apr 19, 2026 +3
I am aware that the vast majority of the world would like to bitchslap Vance right across the face, but I wouldn't call it a "security concern".
3
Plaineswalker Apr 19, 2026 +3
Also because he will just make it worse and everyone knows it.
3
evangelist-789 Apr 19, 2026 +3
Gotta love how „security concerns“ are their new excuse for everything. It just goes along so nicely with their victim complex.
3
bman2881 Apr 19, 2026 +3
Vance got grounded and has to stay home and bang his old couch instead of a new one.
3
milnak Apr 19, 2026 +3
They found out that most couches are manufactured in Pakistan. The security concern is for the couches.
3
Dry_Egg8180 Apr 19, 2026 +3
Trump doesn't want Vance to make the deal and look good, but he is too chicken to go himself. He would rather his son-on-law do it. Keep it in the family. Trump started this "war" for no reason and now he can't lie his way out of it. We the people are paying a heavy price. Trump has added 40% to the national debt in less than two years. If he keeps it up he will double the deficit with nothing going to help the American family. Will a new ballroom help our children? Will an additional $75 Billion going to ICE help our children? Our grandchildren's grandchildren will still be paying on this debt for useless pet projects. Next he wants to spend millions or billions on Alcatraz. How ridiculous is that? I'm sure he will want to call it Trump Island. This has to stop. We can't afford any more debt.
3
Prudent_Falafel_7265 Apr 19, 2026 +7
The risk is thus: Pakistan has a $2.5 billion dollar furniture industry. While much of that product is wood-based, cushions and pillows can easily be added, turning it into something just too alluring.
7
marlinspike Apr 19, 2026 +33
Pakistan, home of Osama Bin Laden and countless terror outfits, is where these clowns decided to have a “Peace Summit”?  Is peace what they’re really interested in?
33
bio4m Apr 19, 2026 +19
Thats actually not that far fetched. Pakistan gets military aid from the US and buys a lot of US weapons Theyre also on good terms with Iran (they buy a lot of Iranian oil)
19
PixelsOfTheEast Apr 19, 2026 +27
They nominated Trump for the Nobel Prize.
27
marlinspike Apr 19, 2026 +5
This must be the reason.  Why do they have an army guy leading the delegation?
5
scarab1001 Apr 19, 2026 +6
"security concerns" = everything Vance does ends in a facepalming disaster.
6
JohnnyWix Apr 19, 2026 +7
“Security concerns” are so hot right now. The Kirk widow can’t attend event because security. Ballroom needs to be built because security. Vance can’t go because security.
7
ArrArr4today Apr 19, 2026 +2
"And because hes a f****** idiot" he mumbled with his outside voice
2
RoachIsCrying Apr 19, 2026 +2
In other words... The guy is a f*** up at his own job
2
hammerSmashedNail Apr 19, 2026 +2
I thought everyone loved him, bigly? It’s really confusing because all I ever hear from their mouths is how popular and successful everything they do is. It’s almost like, deep down, when the propaganda machines aren’t broadcasting their verbal garbage, they know they’re human garbage.
2
i_am_Misha Apr 19, 2026 +2
Security concerns = something, something is resuming soon.
2
Illustrious_Law8512 Apr 19, 2026 +2
That's fast approaching the reason to not travel anywhere for much longer.
2
Additional_Quiet2600 Apr 19, 2026 +2
He took Erika's line. 🤣
2
codemonkey985 Apr 19, 2026 +2
So.. no couches in the conference suite, I take it ?
2
Tin-Tin-K Apr 19, 2026 +2
Vance and Kushner = Oil and Water
2
whodatnewphone Apr 19, 2026 +2
Send Eric
2
Mukarsis Apr 19, 2026 +2
If there were actual security concerns they would absolutely be sending Vance.
2

NYT reporting that he is actually going, again with Tweedle Dumb and Dumber, the real estate grifters.
2
selfiecat Apr 19, 2026 +2
Translation: That chud cant get it done
2
CindysandJuliesMom Apr 19, 2026 +2
So who is going? The two real estate moguls with no experience in international diplomacy?
2
Cactusfan86 Apr 19, 2026 +2
So does that mean the dream team of kishner and witkiff are still going though?
2
Trick_Quiet3484 Apr 19, 2026 +2
But yet he was ok to speak during a Turning Point event despite Kirk skipping it for security concerns?! Yea, sure.
2
Pxlfreaky Apr 20, 2026 +2
Sounds like him and Erika are holed up in a secure room together.
2
ijakei2000 Apr 20, 2026 +2
He found out the other side is not coming
2
Anton_Slavik Apr 19, 2026 +3
C'mon, he'll be fine
3
anortef Apr 19, 2026 +2
This is how you know they want this talks to move forward and get something out of it. Cannot risk Vance touch.
2
Prize_Proof5332 Apr 19, 2026 +1
Didn't he say the same thing last time, when JD actually went?
1
MidLifeCrysis75 Apr 19, 2026 +1
Trump is so Alpha, he should go instead. 😉
1
Total-Mushroom-9614 Apr 19, 2026 +1
And also because….‘that mouth’.

1
high_everyone Apr 19, 2026 +1
All those poor couches. What did he do in Pakistan?
1
sweetbeards Apr 19, 2026 +1
Erika used that one last week - JD is the security concern - I believe Trump is turning on him because he’s not on board anymore
1
Mel_Zetz Apr 19, 2026 +1
I feel like this excuse is *the* new excuse for everything
1
ken_the_boxer Apr 19, 2026 +1
They found some protruding nails in a couch?
1
helojapes Apr 19, 2026 +1
Everyone else's security I hope. This guy could kill everyone.
1
Popular-Drummer-7989 Apr 19, 2026 +1
Now he's worried about Jd's safety? Huh.
1
Heavy_Direction1547 Apr 19, 2026 +1
Must be nice to be the more 'expendable' choice that does go.
1

Who are we concerned he'll kill this time?
1
AmNesia_Dota2 Apr 19, 2026 +1
He knows what happened in GTA vice city with tommy.
1
Blueridge-Badger Apr 19, 2026 +1
Right, he should go himself since a boy can't do an man's job.
1

He wants to fire Vance🤣

Vance was the closest thing we had to a diplomat in the mix. Unless they are sending Rubio we are going to end up with Israel shills Kushnet and Witcoff in the room. Not good

I’d be concerned if I was the couch in his room.

I feel like this was a story last time and he went anyway

Vance is worried about Usha kicking his butt if he comes back without a deal.

He’s jealous. Vance gets props for speaking in full sentences sanely on the world stage. (At least it sounds sane after the gibberish we are used to hearing). Trump pulls him out and institutes a second blockade of the Strait. He is terrified Vance could get a deal. Either that or he doesn’t want Vance getting in the way of the money-men making “deals” to line rich pockets.

But Vance went to the Turning Point event despite the security risks…

JD was like, "f***, dude. I just got back!"

resnus Apr 19, 2026 +1
Right… He has no problems with his son in law going there. They want to cut JD out of the picture.

Fair enough, Iran might think it'd be funny to drone him at the airport, like the last trump administration did in Iraq to soleimani

ginkgodave Apr 19, 2026 +1
Lil Marco told Trump that JD is a dumbass.

Voodoo_Masta Apr 19, 2026 +1
lmao first Erika with the security concerns and now Trump. It's becoming a running gag

...but it's OK if Kushner gets shot. So I'll send him instead.

Then there may be some success!
