Merrick Garland indicted him and had a special prosecutor trying to convict him when Americans voted him back into power. Would I have liked someone who acted faster? Yes. But that case ended with it being thrown out but Trump’s personal lapdog judge and appealed. Getting a 6 month earlier start at best gets a conviction shortly before the election similar to the New York fraud case at which point he is elected and pardons himself instead of dropping charges against himself. It was on the voters to not give him a get out of jail free card but they did anyway. No amount of investigations, court cases, convictions changes anything unless people vote differently

I hate the fact that an impeachment hearing would have happened in the first week of Harris's term if she did a smidgen of what Trump has done. But since Trump's a white male Republican, he treats it like a reality show, and most America laps it up, and the MSM is complacent.

This is why you can never take the sanctimonious invocations of "tHE LAw!" from conservatives seriously when they talk about ICE enforcement. They dont care about the law. They care about a monopoly of force to be applied to people they dont like and to protect those they do.

Trump was recorded showing off classified material on contingencies for an Iranian conflict. He was waiving this material around. Bragging about it, showing it to “journalists”. Telling anyone who would listen they have this, and Iran could be his. But do people at this point realize he never bothered to read, let alone have someone explain it to him like a child? He was supposed to understand a plan, some might call it an objective. But he never bothered. Instead more tickled that he had something that few people were allowed to have.

The man is, and has ALWAYS been a groveling, manipulative, crook. He's going to show off anything he can to the toughest people who ask for it. Saying he's a traitor would imply that he knows what that is. He doesn't. He's going to do what he can to who he can to enrich himself. If it's defined as treason ok. If it's described as ruining democracy ok. If it's impeachment ok. He doesn't know consequences at all. What he knows is what he can get.
