your attitude is exactly what they want, i dont care how discouraging it gets, im voting no matter what, its better than sitting at home doing nothing while the pedophile ends up killing all of us

We have to do both. Vote like it matters and prepare like it doesn't

As if the controlled opposition party is going to actually hold them accountable. As soon as they get elected they'll be all about "reaching across the aisle" and "healing the country." Again.

6
IAmTheMoon009 Apr 1, 2026 +17
You realize the media here is saying it’s sure to face legal challenges? That’s exactly what the media should do. AP can’t say it’s unconstitutional, as that presumes how the SCOTUS might rule on a challenge, which would be foolish.
17
uzlonewolf Apr 1, 2026 +9
Actually they *can* say it's Unconstitutional, just like they can say SCROTUS is blatantly ignoring the Constitution with their rulings. Just because SCROTUS is ignoring what the Constitution says does not mean what is written in the Constitution has changed. Otherwise what you're saying is it's not possible to call out a corrupt court.

I don't see why states can't just ignore it. It's not legal, it's not a law and the constitution clearly says elections are run by the states. He can go f*** himself.

What's interesting is Republicans are attacking USPS with this executive order. There are several ways that Republicans are shaping USPS to contribute to election fraud. Step 1 is USPS is no longer required to postmark mail when it receives it. It can hold onto mail indefinitely and postmark it whenever it feels like. This means if you drop off a mail in ballot on time, USPS can hold onto it until it's too late. Step 2 is USPS is no longer required to deliver your mail, and if it fails to deliver your mail, you can't sue. This was decided in a recent SCOTUS case. Step 3 is preventing ballots from being counted after election day regardless of whether they are postmarked on time. This is still going through the courts so isn't in place yet. Step 4 is this latest executive order, which will prevent USPS from delivering ballots to voters unless they are on a national registry list maintained by Republicans. This list will allow Republicans to disenfranchise Democrats and only deliver ballots to Republicans. So ... Republicans will choose who gets ballots, choose when those ballots are postmarked, choose if those ballots are delivered, and choose if those ballots are counted. None of that has anything to do with the states. Republicans are massively attacking mail in ballots and are seeking to commit election fraud and steal the next election. If none of that works, Step 5 is Republicans will declare state elections fraudulent if they don't use the national registry. Republicans will select fake electors who will fraudulently vote for Republicans regardless of the state election results.

Without a doubt. Also what they want. It would be especially great for those same evangelical red state voters if all of this happens to go on in the midst of an escalating world war that maybe might could be where their buddy the antichrist shows up.

Here's one from the source material: Revelation 13:3-4 I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”

evilbrent Apr 1, 2026 +62
Nah. It's possible that after initially running as an openly fascist who could shoot someone on 5th avenue, and then spending 4 years creating chaos and bragging about a third term, and then committing 34 felonies while attempting to steal an election he lost, and then telling his deranged supporters to fight like hell, and then stochastically causing terror attacks on individual political opponents, and then getting re-elected to avoid jail time, and then starting an unconstitutional war to deflect criticism from his involvement with a sex trafficker and some of the rapes he committed, and then systematically destroying the processes that enable democracy, and voting himself back in for that third term he promised us... it's possible that after all of that the whole thing is just one big misunderstanding. The fact that his first inauguration speech was pretty much a print-out of the wikipedia page on fascism, and the entirety of every action he has ever taken since then has been a confirmation of the fascist intention of that speech, could all still be a coinckydink. Time will tell. None of that was a reason for civil unrest, why would Step 5 be?
62
stonhinge Apr 1, 2026 +45
Note: He did not have to get elected to avoid jail time, the cowardly judge delayed sentencing because "it might affect the election." YOU'RE GODDAMN RIGHT IT SHOULD AFFECT THE ELECTION, HE'S A F****** FELON.

31
dannydrama Apr 1, 2026 +8
That too. I think it's pushing how much people will react as long as it isn't happening to them. People talk about protecting their neighbours and communities but it's different when it's your own community with your own family to look after.

alpha-delta-echo Apr 1, 2026 +3
That would be a logical intersection for unrest. People get antsy about something being done, and I get that, but historically everything has to fall apart first. It’s the most maddening part about humans. They are running out of levers to pull to keep things “normal”. Even the latest market manipulation attempts aren’t effective. They’ve destroyed American influence and alienated our allies. And they’ve fucked up a Middle East campaign in a truly impressive fashion. In a way, a fully transparent election steal wouldn’t be the worst outcome. One of the few advantages they have left is the confidence that the democratic establishment will not challenge a steal or punish them after a blue wave. In that case, I’d rather they be forced to ride this administration into the ocean.

Just to clarify, you *can* sue the USPS if they don't deliver your mail illegally. The court ruling made it so you can no longer sue individual postal workers who may be the ones directly at fault. So, it's harder to now, but the USPS is still legally required to deliver your mail and you can technically still sue them for it. If I'm mistaken in my understanding, please feel free to correct me. Also re:step 1 I was not aware they can simply postmark whenever, I'd appreciate being more I formed on that. The only thing I'm familiar with is changing it so that the deadline for mail in ballots being changed to when the ballot is received, rather than when it is post-marked. Which absolutely does open the door for fuckery, but I didn't think it was that explicit.
59
IndigoHawk Apr 1, 2026 +27
That's a good clarification. To be totally fair about the postmark date, USPS released guidance saying they'll postmark it when they have it in their facility, and that it's simply a clarification, not a change from existing policy. https://about.usps.com/newsroom/statements/010226-postmarking-myths-and-facts.htm Everyone else thought it was a change from existing policy. The USPS article on this even admits they have made changes to how mail moves around so it may not arrive at facilities same day and be postmarked same day anymore, so ... it's not a change in policy ... but will result in postmarks being applied later ... and USPS controls when mail arrives in its facilities ... so .... it certainly sounds like USPS can now take election day ballots from blue cities and either leave them unprocessed in a truck or send them on overnight road trips to USPS facilities on the far side of the state where they won't be postmarked until the next day when they're late ... USPS says if you want it postmarked same day, hand it to someone at the post office and request the postmark, don't mail it normally.

> This list will allow Republicans to disenfranchise Democrats and only deliver ballots to Republicans. Don't forget the part where they "purge" voter rolls arbitrarily very close to the last registration date and prevent election-day on-site registration, or force them to use provisional ballots* **provisional ballots are typically only counted if the race is close, so by having as many people as possible use them, it can cause the race between leading candidates to not be close to warrant counting provisional ballots.*
13
raistan77 Apr 1, 2026 +7
USPS from delivering ballots to voters unless they are on a national registry list maintained by Republicans. This list will allow Republicans to disenfranchise Democrats and only deliver ballots to Republicans. Which will be challenged in court the second his EO is signed. USPS still has legal obligations to the ballot process. Plus cross-referencing a list to ballots likely breaks multiple state laws and since there is no Federal law requiring this (EOs dont count) its likely to get bounced fast and hard.

The states use USPS to deliver their mail-in ballots. USPS is not going to deliver ballots to people who are not on the list. Done.
26
raistan77 Apr 1, 2026 +4
not how that works in reality USPS is not independent legally and has legal obligations it must abide by.

That was my first thought as well - conservatives freak the hell out at the thought of more rigorous registration process for firearms, arguing that it would end up as a list to violate their rights.  But let's see what they have to say about this. Considering we have no evidence of large election fraud, and very few individual cases, there's no clear explanation other than ill-intents to create this voter list. It's also a clear violation of states rights (another supposed concern for conservatives) to run elections.

There is no mention of the President having any say or control of elections. Here is the Supreme Court's interpretation of this section of the Constitution. >The Supreme Court has interpreted the Elections Clause expansively, enabling states to provide a complete code for congressional elections, not only as to times and places, but in relation to notices, registration, supervision of voting, protection of voters, prevention of fraud and corrupt practices, counting of votes, duties of inspectors and canvassers, and making and publication of election returns.2 The Court has further recognized the states’ ability to establish sanctions for violating election laws3 as well as authority over recounts4 and primaries.5 The Elections Clause, however, does not govern voter qualifications, which under Article I, Section 2, Clause 1, and the Seventeenth Amendment must be the same as the Qualifications requisite for Electors of the most numerous Branch of the State Legislatures.6 Similarly, the authority of states to establish the Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives does not include authority to impose additional qualification requirements to be a Member of the House of Representatives or a Senator, which are governed by the Constitution’s Qualification Clauses at Article I, Section 2, Clause 2 for Members of the House and at Article I, Section 3, Clause 3 for the Senate.7 >

Election interference is a state felony right?
21
fresh-dork Apr 1, 2026 +7
he's okay with that - see if any states are willing to arrest him
7
Toadfinger Mar 31, 2026 +9
Might as well just flood voting precincts with cameras then. Type your name into a website and watch yourself vote from fifteen different angles the very next day.
9
pete_68 Apr 1, 2026 +7
Speaking of lists... I mean yeah, the Epstein war is a distraction, but let's get to the important list.
7
Ignorance_Is_Boring Apr 1, 2026 +8
He just voted by mail himself. I can’t anymore with these people.
8
Capital-Control308 Apr 1, 2026 +9
All the republicans I worked with nonstop talked about government tracking them and other nutty stuff constantly under Obama and Biden. Well here you go. Federal lists that will track everything about you
9
R67H Mar 31, 2026 +23
He should spend some of his "executive time" having someone read him our constitution
23
OJ-Rifkin Apr 1, 2026 +8
He doesn’t give a flying f*** what the constitution says
8
Redsoxmac Mar 31, 2026 +25
Sue everyday and everything. Lose a lawsuit, appeal. Tie this administration up in lawsuits.
25
DudeBroFist Apr 1, 2026 +6
He literally just voted by mail a couple weeks ago.
6
Shinagami091 Apr 1, 2026 +7
Their plan is to identify every voting Democrat from 18-42, initiate a draft and send them out to Iran to die. I wouldn’t put it passed them. And I’m sure MAGA would cheer.
7
Storm_Chaser06 Apr 1, 2026 +5
He is desperately trying to prevent the midterms from being a blue sweep. It won’t happen Donnie, sleep comfortably now, because the months after November will be hell for you.
5
steathrazor Apr 1, 2026 +8
It started with lists then there were camps
8
Diplomat_of_swing Apr 1, 2026 +13
They have failed to provide EVIDENCE IN COURT of all the cheating they claim is going on. If you lose a few court cases for lack of evidence that’s one thing. They are getting into the 100s depending on how you count.
13
Joebranflakes Apr 1, 2026 +5
The only reason to make a list is to help decide who does and does not get to do a thing. While there are plenty of lists that are used to do just that on the state and local level, the ones creating that list should not be the ones trying to get elected, or reelected.
5
vasquca1 Apr 1, 2026 +7
This dudes mind is seriously f'd.
7
pigsbounty Apr 1, 2026 +6
Why do Americans tolerate being mocked to their faces by their own government every single day
6
Verum_Orbis Apr 1, 2026 +4
I did Nazi that coming...
4
underpants-gnome Apr 1, 2026 +6
School House Rock is going to have to produce some new videos about how a law is made. The whole "I'm just a Bill, sitting here on Capitol Hill" bit is way outdated now. They don't even mention the steps where the president makes up a bunch of c*** to distract from his history of pedophilia and underaged sex trafficking, and then some random declaration to address an imaginary problem works its way through the federal courts until SCOTUS proclaims it the law of the land in a 6-3 party lines ruling.
6
variousgripes Mar 31, 2026 +4
Every day. More outrage.
4
woodhawk109 Apr 1, 2026 +4
He can f*** right off
4
cardboard_dinosaurs Apr 1, 2026 +6
So when can we expect visits from federal agents for voting"wrong"?
6
TheXypris Apr 1, 2026 +6
step one in enacting retribution against people who vote against him is identifying them
6
gulgin Apr 1, 2026 +5
Timed as closely as possible to the election to be necessary to start before the obvious Supreme Court challenge.
5
StormerSage Apr 1, 2026 +5
Trump: I'm making a voter list. States: Wait, that's illegal. Supreme Court (who has Trump's back): No it's not.
5
Xyrus2000 Apr 1, 2026 +5
More stupid fascism. The executive has no power or authority to dictate elections. That power resides solely with the states.
5
DarkMagician-999 Apr 1, 2026 +6
He really likes being in the news every day for dumb things
6
Oregon-Pilot Apr 1, 2026 +5
Still voting democrat here, your lists be damned, you fat piggy rapist f***.
5
Zapp_Rowsdower_ Apr 1, 2026 +6
Not even a shred of legality.
6
Double-Show-2625 Apr 1, 2026 +5
I'm f****** sick and tired of this motherfuc**ker
5
MinimumArmadillo2394 Apr 1, 2026 +6
Didnt republicans not want this for gun ownership? For the same reason its bad for voters?
6
johnnycyberpunk Apr 1, 2026 +4
I still remember when Fox News and conservative media were **outraged** by Democrat Presidents trying to do *anything* via Executive Order. "He's trying to rule by fiat!!!!! Unbelievable!!!"
4
redclawx Apr 1, 2026 +6
We already have a voters registration. You need a form of state or federal ID to register. What purpose would a national registration serve that isn’t already being done at the state level? Voter fraud? The only ones that were able to prove it were the Republicans that did the fraud themselves.
6
totally-jag Apr 1, 2026 +3
Sounds like they want to decide who is on the national voter eligibility list. Voter suppression.
3
annaleigh13 Apr 1, 2026 +4
Yeah, so the states should just ignore this. And those states who DO hand over their voter roles should be sued into the ground by their citizens. Your voting data has ZERO reason for being in Federal hands, breaks dozens of election laws and ignores every Constitutional guardrail. Protect your data, sue the f*** out of these uneducated fuckwads in power.
4
co-stan-za Apr 1, 2026 +5
He will be present at a TPUSA rally in Phoenix soon, and the registration for the event on their website requires you to enter all of your personal voter information before you can register to attend. This feels super sketchy to me. Does anyone know if this has been standard practice at any previous TPUSA event, or do we think this goes hand in hand with his voter registry nonsense?
5
OldLondon Apr 1, 2026 +5
But there was no cheating when he won twice? But if it’s so easy to cheat then he should have lost..? Make it make sense someone
5
JudgeCastle Apr 1, 2026 +4
Cool. Can’t wait for this to fail like almost all of his illegal actions in court.
4
MichaelHunt009 Apr 1, 2026 +4
How 'bout executive order to seek justice for Epstein victims?
4
Swamplust Apr 1, 2026 +3
He sure does sign a lot of executive orders. Seems like I hear about multiple ones a day.
3
dat3010 Apr 1, 2026 +4
He faces legal challenges any second now, any second...
4
DukeandKate Apr 1, 2026 +3
I think most people would agree that only those who can legally vote should. The fundamental question is, "Is it a problem today? And what is the best solution?" There has been no documented evidence of wide spread fraud and certainly not enough to tip a result. If there were, is what is the best form of ID and how would we make sure everyone has easy access? The GOP has a solution looking for a problem IMO.
3
SouthernAddress5051 Apr 1, 2026 +5
I'm sure the courts will weigh in on this right after the election
5
DeaddyRuxpin Apr 1, 2026 +4
It doesn’t matter that this is illegal. Until SCOTUS declares it so, states will be free to obey it. You can bet red states will obey it. They all know they are in danger of turning blue, and this will help them make sure that doesn’t happen. SCOTUS will deliberately drag their feet on hearing the case and giving a ruling until after the midterms giving red states all the time they need to disenfranchise millions of democrat voters.
4
L_Cranston_Shadow Apr 1, 2026 +4
It's been six years. You lost, get over it.
4
micropterus_dolomieu Apr 1, 2026 +7
Given that states conduct elections, what could possibly be the purpose of a national voter list???
7
Separate_Click2832 Apr 1, 2026 +11
To know exactly who is for/against him. This to me sounds like he’s trying to get people scared to vote
11
Olpigdog Apr 1, 2026 +3
This guy is scared shitless about the midterms. Scared shitless. Be ready to fight for it people. He won't go down easy.
3
JamsJars Apr 1, 2026 +3
Lmao they're really going for "If you're not on this list, your vote doesn't count" tactic. Wild
3
jefbenet Apr 1, 2026 +3
The EO restricts mail in voting…which he himself did in the most recent Florida election
3
kurapika91 Apr 1, 2026 +3
Why doesn't he just sign an EO to ban the democrats from running on elections and get it over with at this point.
3
ribone Apr 1, 2026 +3
Can we please get rid of this f****** traitorous clown?
3
billyrubin7765 Apr 1, 2026 +3
I am sure the Supreme Court will take this up. Right after Thanksgiving.
3
tidal_flux Apr 1, 2026 +3
I’m sure SCOTUS will get around to it in early 2029.
3
OvenIcy8646 Apr 1, 2026 +3
SAVE act isnt going well
3
Googlyelmoo Apr 1, 2026 +3
“Sure to create legal challenges”? Ya think? It’s just a matter if it’s 7 to 2 or unanimous (against)
3
jargo3 Apr 1, 2026 +3
Can courts block this unitl midterms?
3
Fomdoo Apr 1, 2026 +3
He must have hit a record with the most amount of Executive Orders rejected by the courts by now, right?
3
jsc503 Apr 1, 2026 +3
EO's aren't law. Particularly ones that obviously go against the plain text of the Constitution.
3
DanglyDinosaurBits Apr 1, 2026 +3
Add it to the pile of things no one is going to do anything about.
3
LunchyDude101 Apr 1, 2026 +3
He’s just the face of the this. Stephen Miller and others are basically creating all of this and setting it down in front of him to sign. They should be named alongside Trump each and every time.
3
SuppressiveFire Mar 31, 2026 +5
But I thought they were the party of states rights?
5
burnmenowz Apr 1, 2026 +4
He still doesn't understand states control elections, not his loser ass..
4
IronBeagle63 Apr 1, 2026 +6
Desperate to stay out of prison huh Donny?
6
povlhp Apr 1, 2026 +5
He has signed more illegal than legal orders. The US should ignore them fornybare reason alone. And have him declared unfit for president.
5
jodytrees Apr 1, 2026 +6
Why don’t they just get him out of office already?!!
6
LiquidAether Apr 1, 2026 +8
The people with the power to do that are fascists who support his actions.
8
norrinzelkarr Apr 1, 2026 +4
Call your state-level secretary of state and tell them you will vote them out if they cooperate in any way
4
ten-million Apr 1, 2026 +2
If you just say no there’s not much he can do. He’s all bluster
2
insertbrackets Apr 1, 2026 +2
Someone should print these garbage EOs onto toilet paper since that's all they pretty much are.
2
Sour_baboo Apr 1, 2026 +2
Will that legal challenge happen fast enough? NPR and PBS just heard that a judge said Trump couldn't dump them via executive order. He will of course appeal. That all started last year and the next election is this fall.
2
already-redacted Apr 1, 2026 +2
so DHS is going to track where people move to and when they turn 18 and when they die and if they meet exemptions and if they change their name and if they have a disability
2
Candid_Koala_3602 Apr 1, 2026 +2
How hard would it be to bring back dueling?
2
Feeling-Park-9654 Apr 1, 2026 +2
The list is going to conveniently be missing tons of registered Democrats and independents.🤔
2
MidLifeCrysis75 Apr 1, 2026 +2
Gotta love these ‘states rights’ conservatives! 🙄
2
Moist-muff Apr 1, 2026 +2
Just more BS just to deflect. Donald Trump is a coward who's never worked an honest day in his life.
2
AcanthisittaNo6653 Apr 1, 2026 +2
For the record I vote no.
2
majorjoe23 Apr 1, 2026 +2
That photo really emphasizes his tiny hands.
2
Blueberry_Mancakes Apr 1, 2026 +2
“Face many legal challenges” What the hell else is new? He knows he can do anything be wants and it will take years of bureaucracy to rectify it, if ever.
2
Wizchine Apr 1, 2026 +2
Now let’s see how few voting sites they put in blue areas once they take away mail-in ballots. It will make the lines at the airport security checkpoints look short.
