Trump throwing literally anyone under the bus shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. It's amazing just how many lemmings lined up to be the henchman/woman when they should know by now it's likely not ending well.

This is a tinpot dictator trait: they all demand absolute loyalty, and give none. Everyone around them is disposable.

The other related trait is that while Trump demands loyalty, nobody in his admin has loyalty to their office or their peers. This means that every person in his cabinet is at war with their colleague while the office is sold to the highest bidder for private use only. This is not how government is supposed to work. This is how pirates in the Caribbean seas work.

There's plenty of bad things to be said about pirates, and apparently each ship drew up its own articles, but going by the surviving [examples](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirate_code), it seems they were actually surprisingly egalitarian. Equal votes, captain typically got twice the share of ordinary crew, they even had compensation for lost limbs. Worth checking out.

They even had legal gay marriage, [matelotage](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matelotage).
Just two dudes, at sea together for years, enjoying the great naval traditions of rum sodomy and the lash together, who agree to hold their resources in common and inherit from each other if they die, and have legal standing to make agreements for each other.
But gays getting married is a degenerate modern invention weakening our once great nation... (/s)

I think more importantly these underlings realize two major things: they can steal, and grift as much as they want in their roles; and the likelihood of ever facing justice is low.
I think most of them know at some point they’ll be thrown under the bus but by then they’ll have stolen a few tens of millions of dollars, and will f*** off into a nice corrupt, insulated rich person life.
Money has always been the best way to avoid justice in America. If they grift hard enough in their jobs before they get turfed, they’ll avoid the consequences.
These people are evil, and while they’re not wise, they aren’t entirely stupid.

This is the play. To a lesser degree, getting elected into office whether local, state or federal is a way for criminals to enrich themselves while insulating from prosecution. Granted, there's levels to this shit and being the president's evil underlying is possibly as high as you can go. The people voluntarily in trumps orbit are some of the most corrupt bastards breathing air.

And still has political ambitions. Most people seem to think only about her options right now, of course she wouldn't survive in any election currently after trashing Trump... But imo she is clearly setting herself up for future runs, when the right turns on Trump/Maga.
It's already working in the sense that lot's of media is forgetting all the crazy shit she said, as long as she provides soundbites of 'former supporter trashes president'. She can either keep a career going in media or even use that to springboard renewed political ambitions. Once the consequences really hit home how bad the current admin fucked up, people on the right might view someone like her with a lot of credibility. The grift continues indeed

The 19 point lead win for the Democrat in the Miami mayoral race might be a sign that the Cubans are waking up to the fact that the Republican Party no longer values their support. Trump even endorsed the GOP candidate.

I know no one wants to hear it but blaming them is the plan.
Scapegoat mechanism at its best, it happened with Musk/Bovino/Kristi (I’m forgetting someone) and it’ll happen with Patel/Hegseth/Tulsi and even Tom and Stephen soon enough.
Fully orchestrated by Vance’s groomer Peter Thiel. Palantir is the software supporting ICE allowing it to find people, Palantir uses data from the IRS/SSA/dept of education and the treasury to find people who pay taxes using the ITIN filing system and verify it with data from the treasury and dept of education systems. The biggest defense contractor for the CIA/NSA, the guy behind the NSA director and deputy being fired. The guy whose products are being used by most of Europe. The UK’s NHS now runs on it. Thiel has gone on and on for years how Trump fills that role perfectly. Thiel groomed Vance since law school, literally not figuratively walked Vance into Mar-a-lago to so Vance could be VP. I could go on but well f*** it…
Thiel is a literal German Nazi, born in divided Germany, grew and went to school for a time in Swakopmund a former West South African town that when he was there idolized and loved Hitler/Nazism. His dad had to keep moving him between school because of “issues”. His dad while there worked in violation of international law on a uranium mine while helped him move the whole family to the U.S. like so many post-war Germans who still “favored” Nazism/Hitler.
https://www.reddit.com/r/PrepperIntel/comments/1ntgc7y/comment/ngtmq4a/
Whoever is removed will make people think the problem is gone. It’s what happened to Elon.
His Tesla stock is reaching an all time high. He got new government contracts for Starlink and Starshield under the umbrella of SpaceX for over $80 billion in the last few months. Nearing 10,000 low orbit satellites. His partnership with TMobile is expanding as he gets closer to owning his own U.S. based ISP. He got to use DOGE (Peter Thiel work) to shutdown the agencies and their inspector generals investigating his businesses like USDA/NOAA and a few banking agencies along with shutting down USAID completely (an estimated 300,000+ people have died so because it was stopped) which removed and stopped so many investigations. He forced over 100,000 federal employees into retirement.
Ladies and gentlemen his was the first test case for Howard Lutnick and Peter Thiel’s scapegoat mechanism with many more to come.

If you read some of Yarvin’s stuff, it becomes clear pretty quickly that he’s one of those guys who’s smart, but was never presented with a situation that meaningfully challenged his self-imagined understanding of the world. And when he encountered some wealthy people who suffered the same delusions of grandeur, they just hyper-charged his warped reality by feeding into it, adding a veneer of legitimacy that only that specific umami of contemptible levels of wealth and power can add.
He’s very likely even further disconnected from reality than Musk or even Thiel himself, and efforts to try and “manage” any level of a national bureaucracy would quickly reveal that disconnect and the incompetence that comes along with it. If anything, involving Yarvin in the inner circle would likely hasten MAGA’s collapse from within.

A lot of Yarvin's rhetoric could be summed up as lonely loser mad that society doesn't cater to his ideals. He's basically just a famous 4chan poster.
We tend to view these people as evil masterminds working from the shadows. In reality... their just really successful dumbasses who conned a bunch of even dumber dumbasses to buy their shit.

I kinda hope he does. Yarvin is such an obnoxiously repugnant worm that the media attention alone might help address people's misplaced adoration of him.

If I had access to a genie who could only grant me the very narrow wish of selecting one person to magically remove from any position of power at any level of any government, I would use the wish on Russle Vought.
Vought is what Stephen Miller might’ve been if Miller hadn’t immediately given up before even attempting the “dream“ of attending law school that he once claim to be in pursuit of. Vought is just as evil as Miller, but smart enough to stay even further in the shadows, like the vile sun-hating trolls they are. Vought isn’t educated enough to actually understand the world that he’s destroying, but has obtained enough pseudo-knowledge to have what he needs to wreck what others have spent generations building.

100%. The Stephens (including Bannon here) along with the Heritage Foundation cadre have been the real driving force behind the cultural and humanistic antagonism of the Trump era. Most of the rest of them, while receptive to the far right ideology, are in it primarily for the grift.

New Republic is worse than The Daily Beast for sensationalizing things. DB at least retains some truth to it. NR just creates shock out of the most innocuous things.

Miller has been in trouble for awhile.
He has no allies. He is reportedly disliked.
Susie Wiles didn't like Noem and she doesn't like Miller. That doesn't clinch the deal, but it also doesn't help him.
According to Michael Wolff, Trump refers to him as Weird Stephen.
Trump likes deportations but he likes poll numbers more. The annoyance factor that led to Noem's ouster only bought Miller some time.
Miller is unique in the machine. Whoever replaces him will probably not be nearly as committed to Miller's crusade, as this million deportations scheme was Miller's pet project. Good riddance.

Trump wants everyone to believe he's only deporting bad guys, when he's deporting good guys as well. Miller is point-blank stating that the Trump admin thinks ALL immigrants are bad guys, and they really want ALL of them deported, or worse. There's no disagreement with what they are actually doing. The disagreement is about being honest about their cruelty vs. trying to normalize their cruelty.

It’s a New Republic headline, so of course it’s sensationalised. I wish people would stop upvoting them.
This is the WSJ headline that the New Republic article is based off of:
>Trump Told Inner Circle Some Mass Deportation Policies Went Too Far
Trump just wants their actions to fly under the radar more since it’s hurting him politically. No one is being ‘thrown under the bus’.

Miller wants to remove the thing that provides education for all kids regardless of status. Along with removing birthright citizenship (something Trump himself has benefited from as the child of an immigrant mother).
