Totally seriously, disbanding the legislature or at least arresting everybody who you disagree with, is pretty standard totalitarian dictatorship stuff. I can't think of any reason that he wouldn't order such a thing and that he couldn't find a bunch of people to carry out these instructions.

The Senate won't end the filibuster, they won't go home just because he said so. \> arresting everybody who you disagree with He's tried this and juries refuse to indict. Judges are getting peeved over the DOJ's lack of professionalism. The DOJ has lost so many lawyers that they can't keep up with the workload. These might work years down the road if he was popular and could remain in power, but right now it's just not realistic.

Answer to both is blatant violence, skip the courts or ignore them, etc. ICE seems set to be a private paramilitary for the President King so it seems wholly on the table. Maybe not this week sure as they slowly erode freedoms, laws, and norms, but in a couple years? If we get past the election with significant D gains? J6 was a loosely organized militia. DHS could do real damage if directed to, and would be hard to stop even if other agencies (e.g. DC police) even tried to.
