With the way democrats have been winning most of the special elections recently we can hopefully see a blue wave in the midterms this year.

Most Democrats in Congress support this war, that’s why they focus on criticizing the way Trump is doing it instead of the war itself.

Israel is quite happy to deploy American troops
Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak warned in an interview on Saturday on Israel’s Channel 13 about the prospects of reopening the strait. For such a mission, Barak said, “we would need to deploy two American divisions there and prepare to be there for the long haul.” Two divisions constitute at least 20,000 troops. Naval forces would need to clear mines and e***** oil tankers and other commercial vessels, while other troops seek to stop Iranian missiles and drones targeting those operations.

Other people are NPC’s to Trump, and Hegseth and Miller seem to take a sadistic pleasure in harm. None of them seem to consider long-term consequences. Of course, in an unusual move, Miller lives on a military base, because he is unpopular, so he can at least recognize that. But it is purely self-serving and probably really irritating to people in the military.

People always comment this. Do they really think that Senators have the power to arrest people?

Democrats in the house and senate really need to stand up and stop this. They are the only one's that can do something about this until we vote in the midterms this year.

Tell me you have no idea how congress works without telling me you have no idea how congress works.
They are holding up DHS funding but Reps control both houses of congress. What do you propose Dems do to “stop all of this”?

I hope American soldiers are really feeling burned by the fact that the heads of the military can't even come up with a reason for sending those soldiers to their possible deaths.

Fodder. That’s an under used word today. Fodder. That’s exactly what the troops are here.

The last several wars were unconstitutional. Not saying it’s right but let’s stop focusing on something that has been done repeatedly in the past and focus on the Epstein files and all the corruption and market manipulation.

I’m sorry, but I have little sympathy for the troops here. They willingly signed for the U.S. military. We have a long history of pointless foreign interventions like this.

Most who sign up are young, just out of high school. Many don't have great career options.
Back in George W Bush's second term, I was headed to an Iraq war protest, carrying a big protest sign. I got on the train and sat next to a guy, probably 18 years old. He told me he just signed up for military service, was probably headed to Iraq. He looked depressed and stressed out. He said he had no other options to afford housing and make ends meet. I felt really bad for him.

If you sign up for an organization that has spent decades murdering innocent people overseas because you don’t want to work at McDonald’s or inside an Amazon warehouse, then you are a bad person and I will judge you negatively.

Sooo.... working for the companies that dumped billions into getting Trump elected is fine, but joining the military and getting sent to fight Trump's war isn't?
There is no moral win anymore. Everything is owned by a dozen shitty conglomerates that have taken control of the media, production, distribution, and transaction industries. No matter where you work, or who you work for, you are supporting this shit. Blaming soldiers is nonsense.

These kids enlist because it’s their best chance of stable employment/housing and the ability to go to college on the GI bill, many are from immigrant families, also military recruiters lie to them.

To be fair many signed up believing Trumps “no new wars” bs. Yes they were fooled and probably should have known better but then again they’re 18yo and don’t know any better. They’re just trying to make a better life for themselves.
