The blatant market manipulation is infuriating but there are also real bombs being dropped, real oil tankers that can't get through the straight, real nuclear material in Iran that Trump/Pete say they want to take by force. It feels like ever since Trump ripped up the obama nuclear deal with Iran we've been slowly sliding towards all out war with Iran. The timing of Trumps statements is suspicious but also if you look week by week at the reality on the ground things have been getting worse. It may be meme worthy but it's also deadly serious. Trump tells Iran all the time that they are negotiating and then attacks them before the negotiation deadline. This is all just forshadowing. After new york stock exchange close on friday USA is going to bomb Iranian civilian infrastructure. Then it will be taco tuesday and Trump will say there is still a deal on the table. Before you know it thousands of soldiers will be on the ground trying to dig up nuclear material. Then Iran will bomb those soldiers trying to secure the enriched uranium and Trump/Pete will go completely scortched earth in retaliation. It's like you can see it all going down in slow motion but there is nothing you can do about it. It's escalation, taco tuesday, escalation, taco tuesday but things do keep getting worse.

This has to be the most annoying mf on the planet. Nothing comes close.

It's really hard to understand what Trump means or wants if everything he talks about or threatens with is the worst, best, biggest etc. the world has ever seen. If everything is a superlative, nothing is. Everything coming from Trump seems just like random noise. His message gets totally lost in all the exaggerations. Also, that Trump chickens out from almost all his threats, that he is basically always lying and doesn't seem to understand anything about most topics doesn't help. I feel really bad for the people that have to do talks or negotiations with him.

Donald was so eager for a way out of the mess he had created that he agreed to indirect negotiations. With Pakistan acting as the intermediary they have the best perspective on what each side agreed to. Donald is known for his unreliability (putting it diplomatically). Having launched the attack recklessly (and while supposedly negotiating a non-violent resolution), it’s not really surprising that Trump is ending this “war” in an equally slapdash manner. This is the person that MAGA has entrusted with our security.
