All Trump has ever done was sow confusion. Why anyone thought he would be different this time around amazes me. However, this time around he didn’t have smart people holding him back

Classic Trump. Says he wants no war then threatens cultural sites. Its impossible to have a coherent strategy when the boss keeps changing the message every twelve hours.

The best coherent strategy at this point is a military coup in the USA to unseat this fool.

Ain't gonna happen. The generals are now beholden to Trump or else they go to jail for war crimes too, unfortunately.

Hasn't this been the status quo for the Republican party over the past few decades?

For every other person, the little boy who cried wolf is a pertinent fable. Except that relies on the village having critical thinking skills.
Emperor pedo ferret-head’s main audience certainly does not.

This article is far too kind to Trump in every level, even if it calls out that his ‘strategy’ sits entirely in his head.
It would be a more sober article if it concluded what we all know: this was all predictable, preventable, has no point, no clear outcome or goal, and his party are too dumb, cowardly, or dishonest to call him out on his reckless, deadly bullshit again.

Confusion over the Iran war feels like the sequel no one asked for complete with plot twists and questionable character development!

Trump likes it. For him, what matters is showing power and he is doing that now. The world economy is hanging in balance because of him and he is loving every second of it. For him, it is all about control and bullying people to submission.

What submission? Which foreign country submitted to him? The US economy is so fragile that selling US bonds always makes him to stop doing whatever he is doing. Even such small country as Denmark did not submit.
