Trump’s signature on the dollar is the end of the US dollar

I will only accept a flexible digital-display note with Trump pointing at a live, deflating currency value with an "I did that!" dialog bubble.

Fitting isn’t it… the president determined to destroy the dollar seals the deal by signing his name on it.

Trump probably wants his image on the highest usd denomination bill ever. Which is why the US needs hyperinflation /s

Everything he touches turns to shit. Art of the Clusterfuck. A chimp taking a sabbatical from throwing shite would be a better ~~President~~ human.

The U.S. empire had the opportunity to decline gently, through diplomacy, mutual respect of other world powers, and strategic compromises with said powers in exchange for maintaining control of the global financial system. Instead, the U.S. has chosen to do none of those things and to instead flex his military power and economic leverage to keep the entire world subordinate. But this strategy has diminishing returns, as we are witnessing that in real time with Iran. The outcome of this conflict will go down in history books as one of the most important inflection points of this current world order.

Its why gold has shot up over the last few years. The big money is always 18 months ahead of the news cycle.

I think the US would rather just nuke Iran and deal with the consequences rather than have the dollar not be the world’s reserve currency anymore.

This administration, for whatever reason (probably crypto-bro influence and corruption) has been determined to destroy the dollar. They are doing this on purpose.

I mean call me crazy, but if Russia *somehow* got puppets in control of the United States, it would sure be an eventual goal to do this, and they would be happy if most of the power went to the Chinese Yuan, as it makes more sense than the Ruble and China would surely reward Putin, and by proxy, his puppets, handsomely.

Truthisnotallowed Mar 28, 2026 +1
If he drops a nuke that would be the end of the dollar as the world reserve currency.

Maybe in decades.

Bleusilences Mar 28, 2026 +1
If he drop the nuke he would trigger MAD.
1
Turkstache Mar 28, 2026 +1
MAD is over. Only thing that could *maybe* trigger it is a MIRV that gets past a defense. I dont think a single nuke could do it anymore. Definitely not a tactical nuke over a non-superpower.
1
Nichoros_Strategy Mar 28, 2026 +1
That really depends on if a single other nuclear power is willing to respond with counter nukes to help their non-nuclear allies, and the chain reaction potentially spins out of control from there, maybe no one would, but that’s a lot of assumptions. It also sets a precedent for future use of nukes, maybe the same country’s repeated use, or maybe others in conflicts around the world, rolling the dice each time.
1
ObservableObject Mar 28, 2026 +1
That isn’t how MAD works.

Bleusilences Mar 28, 2026 +1
I though by nuking a nation, other nation would follow through, like Pakistan and India, they would see it as a "permission" to do nuclear escalation.
1
InterviewNo3538 Mar 28, 2026 +1
That’s only a thing against another nuclear power.
