I just saw a comment on FB that said "if it upsets the left, then I'm all for it" That's it - that's their entire existence. It's not so much "supporting" Trump as it is the sheer idea that they're pissing off Liberals.

My mom supports him and it baffles me so much. I never realized she was racist but now shes talking about how illegals are doing so many terrible things or whatever. If I tell her about something terrible, she thinks it's not Trump's fault or that it's actually a good thing and not terrible at all.  She is very Christian and yet she supports him. She doesn't think he could ever be considered a Nazi and gets mad if she hears people call him that.  It's like she went from being somewhat normal to a member of a cult. She doesn't buy his merch or anything but she supports him wholeheartedly and unconditionally and thinks he's genuinely doing a good job. She genuinely believes he is a good man and a good president.  Her world doesn't allow me to even suggest that he could be in the epstine files before she shuts me down and calls me brainwashed.
