You can tell it's Chicago too because of the blue filter. It's so cold there and totally not filmed in LA. (I do love this show this was going to be my answer.)

It’s on Prime. Never gets old, and even a bit edgy. Opening credits of Chicago always make me smile.

Same! The opening theme song is a banger.

Lots of different versions of Chicago in Dark Matter on Apple TV.

Shameless for sure.

The Chicago Verse is fun (Chicago PD, Fire and Med) and all filmed in various locations around Chicago. The Good Wife/Good Fight: two very good legal dramas. Married With Children, old school comedy that would never be made today Happy Endings: one of the most underrated comedies of the last 20 years The League

The Chicago Code was just one season but I liked it.

According to The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, the show FDNY: Chicago is a hit.

Sirens (the Denis Leary-EP'd show) When I was a kid I liked Due South. My Boys is perfectly fine background noise.

Sirens was delightful. The rookie explaining the plot of Serendipity was hilarious. It also originated my love of Josh Segara.

I see him in so many shows I like. Which tells me that I'm onto something.

He was great in She-Hulk. And *incredible* in The Other Two.

*Kolchak: The Night Stalker* *Hill Street Blues* (although they purposely never mention the city it takes place in, all the establishing shots are footage of Chicago and the police cars use the contemporary Chicago PD paint scheme)

Hey I’m walking here …. In Chicago!

I believe Station Eleven was moved to Chicago instead of Toronto in the tv adaptation. I was a bit disappointed, the tangible sense of the city I lived in made the reading experience super visceral. Read the book when it came out but haven’t watched the show yet.

That first episode with lakefront tower is excellent. For a somewhat unknown or under-the-radar show, it's nice that I can tell people to just watch the first episode and see what you think.
