Twilight star Robert Pattinson roasts reporter who claims to be 'Team Jacob': 'That was just a marketing thing'

ROASTS! No, they were just joking around with one another.

One of the stranger gigs I’ve had in media was going to comicon with Twilight 2. They had a 5000 capacity hall that was packed to the walls with moms and their daughters. They were pretty much all wearing some kind if Team so&so shirts. The weird part was when we went through the crowd about their enthusiasm. We’d approach a mom/daughter duo and the host would go “mom lady, why are you on team jacob?” And the answer was some form of “Because he’s so hot! Wooooo!” And without a pause, “little girl, why are you on team Jacob?” “Because he’s so HOT! Woooooo!” And so it went, thousands of moms & daughters squishing over the same guy.

> The reporter then posed the question to Pattinson, who immortalized vampire Edward Cullen in all five Twilight films. “No one’s Team Jacob,” he quipped, waving his hand for effect. “That was just a marketing thing.”

Well points for not saying slams or throws shade. But still, that's not roasting.
