The hall of fame center fielder? That’s the only Ty Cobb I have ever heard of

Trump: "Ty Cobb was a no name baseball player named after a salad. Everyone says Honus Wagner was the best there ever was. Beautiful baseball player. Even made a rare baseball card after him, we have people looking into that."

Damn. I couldn't tell if this was a real Trump tweet or not. Although it would be believable if it was Babe Ruth. "I thought there was a babe playing baseball. I could get into raping a babe."

And then there was Christy Mathewson. I dated her. Great girl. Knew how to handle the balls.

I had a three-way once with Christy and Sandy Koufax, they both said I could really swing the bat and that I should’ve gone pro. My mother came to every game, with tears in her eyes and she’d bring ice cream sandwiches

Growing up I had a book about all the baseball greats. Each player had a chapter - maybe 3-5 pages. I loved that book. Christy Mathewson, of course, was in it. Tried to find it when my parents were moving, but it was long gone.

Bonus: Honus Wagner composed Flight Of the Valkyries. A lot of people think that Robert Duvall wrote it as a tribute to our fighters over in Nam, but everyone knows it’s Bonus Wagner. Hamberders, thank you for your service

He's not directly related to the baseball player, which is wild. His parents named him that knowing that everyone would be confused and they did it while Ty Cobb was still alive! Also this guy worked for the 1st Trump admin so f*** him.

Just astounding to me that there’s still a media market for “Ex Trump Goons Willing To Talk Shit On Trump” We’ve had a decade of people like this telling us what we want to hear. You really don’t have to pay attention and give them the career rebrand that they don’t deserve. You really don’t.

You can take the goons outta the grift, but not the grift outta the goons. They’re parasites who have nothing else because they’ve burned all bridges with sane people.

Trump has been late-night posting since all of this started a decade ago. If these posts prove that he's "gone," you're admitting that you supported a mentally unstable man for president three times.

Maybe the right time to say something was, idk, any time after Jan 6 2021 and before Nov 2024?

> the right time to say something was before 2016.

That isn’t up for much debate. The real question is why GOP Congress enables this.

He looks pretty good for being born in 1886.

> Why do people need to end every sentence with “lol” I don’t know, why does it bother people so much when language evolves to allow for more subtle expression rhetorically, like adding a “lol” to soften your point because otherwise your statement might come across as hostile or cold in tone I think Trump’s former employees are grifters taking attention away from real advocates. Grifters don’t learn lessons, they just change grifts.

Another example of language evolving is modern English which has fewer letters in its alphabet than older languages which means it has more ambiguous pronunciations and spellings than older languages. It’s a language that’s guaranteed by its alphabet to produce brain rot. A lot of languages do not have this problem, but unfortunately English-speakers have forced themselves on the rest of the world through imperialistic conquest.

I'm pretty sure this is already common knowledge.
