He's gone after the May elections. They'll keep him until then.  Obviously the Mandelson pick was stupid and dodgy, but he's the most competent PM in a long time. I don't want to him resign, but he will.

Probably not No viable replacement and we don't need more PM musical chairs.

Exactly. We don't need a repeat of the Tory musical chairs

Indeed. Lefty parties need to stop cannibalising themselves like this, basically handing power to the right wing nut jobs who won’t bat an eyelid at blatant displays of corruption.

It's also very naive to believe that whoever succeeds Starmer isn't going to be immediately subject to the same barrage of sustained negative coverage by media, social media and the commentariat. After all if they got Starmer deposed why wouldn't they immediately try and do the same with his successor? They don't care about the UK. It's all about either getting the right back into power or chasing clicks/viewers/listeners. They'll happily burn the UK to the ground in the process.

Lol he's really not. As is par for this country for the past 10 or so years.. the media has it's finger so far from the pulse of the British public it'd struggle to perform a prostate exam.

Labour always self implode when they get power. I dont think the public care about this at all. Whoever they get in next will be worse than Starmer and wont have a mandate as they weren't elected properly by the british people. How does this help grow the economy or deal with the other threats we face? Its doesnt

The UK economy is floating well considering the global shit storms brewing and compared to 15 years of stagnation. I am optimistic about Britain for the first time in a while.

🥱 the right wing press always gang up on Labour and hound them. The Conservatives got up to all sorts of awful shit in the 12 years they were in power, and they didn't get nearly the same criticism.
