i cannot imagine being a politician and meeting a person who wages war against my own country face to face and on top of it all, acting in civil manner about it.

Well i mean, your job is still to be professional and you're expected to be so if you want to get anywhere in a mediation. Government work isn't for everyone, trust me ..

or i guess it takes a special person to do so. i'd say it goes beyond just being professional at this point.
