When will the Russians start blaming Putin for their misery? It will only get worse for the Russians.

Great job. Imagine if US provided any help during the last 1.5 years, how far would Russian oil and armament capabilities would have declined? They might've been in a situation to have no other choice but to stop the war... Unfortunate that US public elected such leaders that want to start new wars, instead of ending existing big ones........

If I remember correctly the US was against Ukraine attacking the russian energy / oil industry. Funny thing, but I think if Trump was still porviding military support he would have the leverage to stop Ukraine blowing up the oil refineries since it would be in his interest to lower the oil prices. And nothing makes russian politics suffer more then the smell of burning refineries in the morning.

Has the US stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine? I know that they stopped direct weapon shipments, but I thought they still shared intelligence as that doesn't really cost anything. Or was it so that France took over this as well and Ukraine doesn't need any help from the US at the moment (they still _buy_ weapons from the US)?
8
RaggaDruida Apr 2, 2026 +34
France said it was providing 2/3rds of the intelligence Ukraine is getting. I suspect that the UK, Finland, Poland, Germany, Italy, etc, etc are also providing their fair share of intelligence. So whatever the usa is providing if they're still providing is rather small.

Tree1Dva Apr 2, 2026 +5
I'd be wary of whatever remaining intel the US is still providing - not that it'll be incorrect necessarily, but that russia would be given a heads up first
5
spiral8888 Apr 2, 2026 +1
If Ukraine knew which information has had a heads up with Russia, they could make use of that. They could send a swarm of decoy drones to the target that they got from the US knowing that Russia would think that it's a real strike while sending real drones to a target provided by Europe.

I mean, that's exactly why Russia rigged the 2024 US election, no?
8
GfunkWarrior28 Apr 2, 2026 +32
Biden didn't start that one. Unfortunately he didn't have the cojones to give Ukraine the help it desperately needed.
32
SteveG5000 Apr 2, 2026 +29
The Biden admin was terrified of nuclear escalation. The Russians have a doctrine where if they are facing overwhelming battlefield defeat they will resort to nuclear weapons. The idea was to pin down and contain the Russians. Also his admin were constrained by the amount of aid congress would allow. The Biden admin did tremendous work on convincing the Ukraine and Europe that Russia was about to attack and in getting an aligned, coherent response from US allies.

Current US leadership is more concerned with not catching child sexual assault charges than anything else.

Not by much most Russian armaments are kept inside the country so far most outside forces can’t reach it. They are heavily insulated

Oh hey, a video featuring a right-wing "political commentator" that justifies/supports Ruzzia's aggression in Ukraine with funding from Ruzzian neo-nazis! Why should I get "educated" by that again?

Right. The only proxy there is is the one between North Korea and Sweden. NK refused to pay for all those volvo trucks they got years ago so this is our revenge.
8
Few_Parkings Apr 2, 2026 +1
And who is the imperialist here? The Americans who want Ukraine to surrender?
1
Perfect-Concern-9762 Apr 2, 2026 +27
Hell yes! Get them Ukraine! I will happily go back to horse and cart if need be, just want Russia to put in its place, ie in the bin.

The whole world struggles with oil and Ukrainians struggle with their families being blown to pieces. You make me sick.
27

Maybe Ukraine has other priorities, like survival. I'd argue that's not moronic to them.

They didn't have the capability 3 years ago By blowing up Russian energy infrastructure, they run the Russians out of fuel and out of money. Defeating their invader is a higher priority than worrying about the global economy. Pull your head out of your ass.
11
Epinier Apr 2, 2026 +5
Its not the first time they have attacked oil infrastructure, they were doing it long before war with Iran. Its not Ukraine fault that Trump is a moron and that he created global oil issues
5
Midavrs Apr 2, 2026 +25
If they don't want it they can juts get out of Ukraine at any moment.

So better for them to be over run by russia? Oil prices are high because of the Trump war.

Ukrainians struggle with getting bombed. I think the world can survive with a tiny amount of less fuel on the market.
1
Doomed2BHere Apr 2, 2026 +1
So blowing up fossil fuels and leaving it all to burn is the way forward...
1
Few_Parkings Apr 2, 2026 +1
If you want Ukraine to survive, yes

Delicious_Rub4736 Apr 2, 2026 -8
Yeah. Humans are the destroyer of the earth!! They ruin everything! Animals kill other animals for foods. While humans kill dozens of human for f****** piece of land all for f****** money. All the politicians will go to hell and burn in flames for eternity

The price of oil will increase even more now. The world is doomed.
-34
Euclid_Interloper Apr 2, 2026 +7
Doomed in the short term, this year is going to be economically horrible. Long term though, it could be a good thing. This will pressure countries to move away from fossil fuels quicker, and will encourage the international community (minus America) to work together for peace.  Europe is the bell weather for this. They're already building a coalition of non-combatant nations to open the strait of Hormuz. And there is heavy talk around expanding renewables as quickly as possible.

>Long term though, it could be a good thing. Tell that to the families who will be starving out on the streets when they can no longer keep up with the skyrocketing cost of living that this will to contribute to...

Few_Parkings Apr 2, 2026 +1
The world is doomed if we keep up digging for fossil fuels. Climate Change will be the one of the worst thing happening to humanity yet. Ukraine is doing the world a big favor in the long run.

Sooner or later, they will have to answer to the inhabitants of Asian countries who are suffering from the lack of oil.
-34
Minkipunk Apr 2, 2026 +29
Asian countries can pressure Russia to stop the war, then for sure Ukrainian strikes will stop immediately.
29
UltraBakait Apr 2, 2026 -2
Russia will have to answer Asians for the lack of oil as well, especially considering their support to Iran while they are blocking off the main oil supply. Consider this as my pressure on Russia..
-2
wintersdark Apr 2, 2026 +6
Why would they blame Ukraine, which is fighting a defensive war? Russia is attacking them, and could end the way any time simply by going home. Blame the aggressor, not the country trying to survive.
6
Few_Parkings Apr 2, 2026 +2
It is not Ukraines responsability to care for whoever buys the stuff that finances their annihilation. If you buy from Russia, you buy with risk of it getting blown up, deal with it.
2
Shinobi-0013 Apr 2, 2026 -28
There goes the price of everything even more now.
-28
ThreeSillyWords Apr 2, 2026 +18
A price with paying to deplete russia’s ability to wage war on the rest of the world.
18
Shinobi-0013 Apr 2, 2026 -19
No, not really. Russia keeps most of its oil production in siberia in underground facilities. Which deep in Russia Ukrainians cannot reach them. With the current allowance to buy Russia oil and the way Russians actually stock munitions as well they can outlast Ukrainians. As far as nation states Ukrainians will get attrition because they have a smaller population then Russia. A lot of Ukrainians fled for other countries and aren’t fighting either. Russians have a much harder time getting out of their country for places with good opportunities. People really know nothing about Russia and what they can actually do how old of empire they are compared to a Ukraine which is just Russia from Wish.

Shinobi-0013 Apr 2, 2026 -9
I see to many Ukrainians who are cowards and can’t fight their wars as we dump billions into their unwinnable war
-9
HalepenyoOnAStick Apr 2, 2026 +3
For a country that can't fight a war, they sure do kill a lot of Russian soldiers on their land. What is it? 500,000 dead and more than double that injured? Not bad for a country that can't fight a war.
3
Shinobi-0013 Apr 3, 2026 +1
Russia total population: 146.1 million. In their war Deaths 250,000 which is .19 % of their population. Ukrainian total population 37 million. In their war deaths 140,000 .37 % loses. Statistically Ukrainian lost more because their population is lower and they won’t be a sovereign nation by the end of this conflict. They can’t win their fight with USA and NATO resources they can only attrition. Without funding they essentially get steam rolled. I’ve talked to people who’ve worked in their government if it wasn’t for the funding even they admit they wouldn’t have lasted this long bootlicker. Maybe go do some research before you talk about casualties And more have fled war who are in EU countries driving Mercedes, Audis, and BMW able Body young men and it disgust me that our government is handing them money because first Trump administration all we heard is how corrupt they are and it’s well known in EU how corrupt Ukraine is. They are completely indistinguishable from Russians culturally and language wise they should go to Russia Historically they’ve also worked and sided with Russians many times. One can say that western Ukraine used to be part of the Republic of Poland they slaughtered poles and took land so they have really no right to cry victim.

Russia needs money to pay for the war, to bribe the elites and to fund the government. If they can no longer do all 3, the war will end one way or the other. Ukraine is pulling out one tooth after the other, yes the bear can still bite but for how long?
