Right? She actually looks like someone you could interact with and not hate yourself. It’s probably the most flattering photo I’ve seen of her. But Trump probably said it made her look less like his daughter, so she hates it.

She actually just looks like a normal person here. I actually thought this was a nicer photo of her that I have seen… these people are sick. E: As I pondered this, the Obama years came to mind and how they relished candid photos of Obamas, especially Michelle, it really shows how much emphasis they put on all of this. It is creepy and vain actually. The minister of truth must never be seen as anything other than a perfect mouthpiece of the orange god.

It’s just because she looks like she has a double chin, which most people would look like from this angle. They don’t value ideas such as “looking human” or “appearing warm and relatable.” In MAGA world a woman’s value is directly tied to her attractiveness, and that attractiveness is based on looking as fake as possible.

People joked about the similarities to the turkey next to her, can't have that.

It's the same reason why the extreme rich don't want to pay taxes. It's not the money, it's the psychological anguish of being grounded with the peasants.

she's got a double chin next to a turkey named waddle, and is vulnerable to being made fun of. she doesn't want to be made fun of. She's also surrounded by people obsessed with appearance to the point of quite drastic surgical intervention, and people are getting/being restricted from positions of real power based on the president's standards of fuckability. It makes perfect sense to me

I don’t understand why this one, too. There is a much worse photos of her squatting, I think, next to the turkey in the article.  This one seems totally fine.

Doesn't take much of an angle for my double chin to come out but it does feel better if she is the butt of the joke.

Sure, if it were me it certainly wouldn't be my favorite photo. But throwing a temper tantrum and trying to get it deleted everywhere just calls more attention to it and highlights your insecurity. Just ignore it and move on

The thing is she is an uber public face of the administration. She is always front and center EVERY DAY. There WILL be unflattering pictures. It'll happen when you got cameras on you all day every day and your inner rot is slowly creeping outside. So unless the photographer got her making a face while taking a shit into the white house bushes I don't know what her problem is. She looks the same as always. But if she thinks it's a terrible picture then I am all here to spread it far and wide I guess.

I don't care about war dead either. I don't give a shit about anyone involved in this. So I don't know how to answer this question. If such an emergency did occur I have zero doubt he would try to order a military strike to wipe out anyone who possibly saw him in a moment of weakness. And of course given anyone with integrity has retired or been kicked out they would follow the order without hesitation (gotta worry about that pension after all!)

... I think you missed the point of the commenter? The problem is not that the Daily Beast article or headline is misleading, as far as I can verify, it is true. It is the fact that press agencies kowtow to the White House in this manner. This is not normal.
