Synopsis: Five ballerinas, on their way to a prestigious dance competition, are barely on speaking terms when their bus breaks down in a remote forest. With no other options, they reluctantly seek shelter at an unsettling roadside inn run by Devora Kasimer (Uma Thurman), a reclusive former ballet prodigy. From the moment they arrive, something feels wrong—and their worst instincts prove right. As the situation turns deadly, the fractured team must set aside rivalries and weaponize years of brutal training, turning grace, discipline, and even pointe shoes into tools for survival.

Just watched this last night and wow the choreography really elevated what could have been another generic survival thriller. The way they used actual ballet techniques as combat moves was surprisingly well executed - you can tell Maddie Ziegler's dance background really shows through when shes fighting with pointe shoes as weapons. Uma Thurman absolutely nailed the creepy ballet teacher vibe too, definitely worth checking out if you're into horror with a unique twist

I watched this last night! Wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great either, however towards the end of the movie there’s a great fight scene that makes up for all of it

I thought this was much more than I expected. It's very funny, with great performances. The dance and fight choreography are top notch. Plus, it's great to see the deaf girl from "A Quiet Place" 1 and 2 (sorry, I'm stoned and don't feel like looking her name up). She's a real talent. Don't expect Ingmar Bergman or Paul Thomas Anderson genius. Paulie Kael wrote in her review of "Reanimator", something like, "Movies are so seldom great art, that we would be remiss if we can't appreciate great trash." That's this film in a nutshell. Oh, Kael
loved "Reanimator." P.S. I just noticed that all of the actors are listed above. I'm stoned.

I only just saw a trailer for this in the few days I’ve been watching ‘Young Sherlock’ also on Prime.
So is it any good? At the very least, I certainly enjoy a lazy weekend afternoon flick.

It’s definitely not a great movie and has some plot holes BUT I watched it last night and there’s a fight scene that makes up for it

She’s just hot. Race has nothing to do with it. That Avantika chick looks pretty hot to but I’ve never heard of her.

"We have to get out of here."
"Stop saying we have to get out of here. We know if we stay, we're gonna die, so saying "We have to get out of here" over and over again does nothing. We need to stop talking and start doing because we have to get out of here."
incredible writing
