What really destroys trust in Congress isnt even just the misconduct itself anymore, its the feeling that theres an entirely different set of consequences for powerful people.
In most workplaces repeated harassment allegations would end someones career quickly. In politics it too often turns into quiet settlements, party damage control and everyone pretending to be shocked until the next scandal arrives a few months later.

So instead of putting our tax dollars to good use they’re talking about putting themselves through perv rehab. Feels like we are much more in need of a do-over than a clean up.

The US House leaders are definitely NOT the people to head this up, unless they will be using their personal expertise.

I’m surprised people weren’t vocal about anything like that at all, much less Congress!
