We removed the sanctions on Belarus, so they can sneak in western tech through their proxy.

More? Frozen assets? Political pressure? Shaming and isolating Putin? Arresting him as a war criminal?

There aren’t many (if any) sanctions available that can be applied to Russia anymore as they have all been applied over the last 4 years. All we can do now is sanction specific individuals which many are. Assets are frozen worldwide, there isn’t any more political pressure that can be applied, he’s been shamed and the country essentially isolated. Can’t arrest Putin if he doesn’t go to a country that’s willing to arrest him.

Sanctions have steadily been decreased under Trump. Also Putin was on American soil last year.

What sanctions specifically?

Nonsense. The EU could stop buying from them, first of all (instead of "mostly" stopping which is a goddamn joke). Second, there are many potential sanctions for countries and people who do business in or with Russia (looking at you, India). Any BRICS nation should be feeling the pain while this war continues. Yet instead we are doing things like giving them free trade deals. It's disgusting.

We already did all of that short of arresting him, which would probably mean an invasion of Russian to get him.

But we lifted the embargo on their oil which has generated a ton of profits for them to keep fighting us. This admin is so transparent and feckless.

Sanctions can be evaded easily by countries determined get what it want with willing aid from those providing the goods for right price. Just look at Russia still continuing war with Ukraine.
