For four. f******. years. we had to listen to the right scream about prices if things went up by a penny. “This is what you get for not voting for Trump.” “This is all Joe Biden’s fault.” “We NEED Trump back because he’s the only one who can fix Biden’s mess.” Now we’re going to listen to “shut up about the price of eggs.” “Just make one less trip to Starbucks maybe.” “We all need to make sacrifices. It’s just the way it is.” “Hey, idiot. The stock market rises sometimes and it falls sometimes. That’s literally what it does.” The hypocrisy is f****** sickening.

Yea, it’s very unfortunate but MAGA just thinks and believes what their savior says even if it makes the look like idiots, hypocrites, or worse. They now have to actively defend and support a child rapist while justifying another endless war they screamed about never wanting to be in. Millions of people’s personalities in this country are wrapped in owning the libs and taking anything said by Trump and his minions as gospel. Our fellow Americans had been a terrible disappointment.

The funny thing is that the huge jump in egg prices in the Biden years was largely due to egg producers engaging in illegal price fixing, rather than underlying economic pressures. They were all using the same software that "analyzed" prices to determine the 'ideal' price point. In reality, the software was explicitly lumping all their clients together so they could set and hold the same high price. Textbook price fixing hidden behind faux "analytics" software. The Biden DOJ prosecuted them for price fixing and won the case, and egg prices dropped.

Ha ha trick is on him - energy costs are not included in government inflation calculations. If you don't count it it doesn't exist. See e.g., trump plan to stop covid. Just don't count infected people. Solved.

I'm old enough to remember how Trump promised to get rid of inflation "FOREVER". Not to slow it down or stop it temporarily, no. Erase it from existence. And have Mexico pay for the effort, presumably.

That one may still come true. Post-WWI Germany had hyperinflation so high that prices doubled every two days and the currency became virtually worthless in a couple of years. All because the government printed endless amounts of currency to pay for the war and support stuggling workers.
