Through negotiations. I imagine that a USA blockade will put more pressure on Iran to make a deal. Both sides are using whatever they can to strengthen their hands at the negotiation table.

US want Iran to give up its enriched uranium and Iran now has every reason under the sun to not give it up. On this point there will be no concession from either side, welcome to a forever war.

Except there been reports that Iran did offered to stop Uranium enrichment? They just disagree on the time of stopping at 5 years or 20 years. II look at it as kicking the can down the road. This conflict will end with concession from both sides. No sides will have all of what they want. My guess would be stop all attacks, lifting of certain sanctions, return frozen money to Iran (over time) in return from USA while USA gets straight reopening , stopping uranium enrichment for x years or whatever. Few things I see USA will never concede: withdraw their military bases in Middle East and war reparations. Also any deal without uranium enrichment from stopping them from getting nuclear weapons. International pressure will ramp up to make sure they get to the negotiation table. I would say this conflict will wrap up in a few months max if not weeks.

I just took a look, Iran was to stop enrichment for 5 or 20 years, not permanently though. Basically like the 2015 nuclear deal that Trump threw in the rubbish can.

That sounds just like the old Iran nuclear deal We're really going to spend tens of billions in direct military expenses just to get the same deal we had a decade ago? That's also not even touching the economic cost of the strait being closed this long

Except Trump’s word is meaningless. Iran was involved in negotiations when America and Israel took out their leadership. Why would anyone assume America will honour any agreement?

Because that’s how conflict ends. At the negotiation table. Even the worst one-sided conflict ends there unless you can annihilate the other side (genghis khan killing off entire populace and selling them to slavery)

Idk what else Iranians need to do/say. We do not want any country, group, organization, person, etc to negotiate with this f****** regime. Please do not throw lifelines to a dying terrorist regime. I’ll put this in American football terms: If you are up 28-3 in the second half of the Super Bowl, you run the f****** ball down your opponent’s throats and don’t give them a chance to come back. The alternative is to let the clock constantly stop by throwing incomplete passes and turn the ball over to give your opponent a chance to come back. No team is that stupid, right?

I don't see regime change happening with the current state of the war The regime isn't just going to gracefully step down, and it's clear at this point neither the Kurds nor the pretestors have the ability to overthrow the regime at this point Only way we get regime change would be a years long war with boots on the ground. Israel doesn't have the forces for that, and the US has no appetite for another forever war cosing trillions How exactly do you see regime change happening?

Regime change won’t happen without a full ground invasion, occupation and installment of a new government that would immediately be rejected and lead to civil war.
