You can find drugs in every city and town in America, and these are the sized vessels supplying it?

Much-Anything7149 Apr 19, 2026 +66
Chances these people were actually bringing drugs into the US? Even if they were, we arrest people all over the world for planning to smuggle drugs into the US and we try them in the federal district court venue of their intended arrival.

SaucyMacaroon Apr 19, 2026 +25
Exactly. If we can find spot them, why can't we follow and detain them? Once again it's something that I don't blame this administration for doing something about, they are just handling it the wrong way.

Andovars_Ghost Apr 19, 2026 +52
We can and did. I was briefly attached to counter-drug ops in the Caribbean. It’s because this admin* doesn’t WANT to do things the correct (read: legal) way. This is quite literally about establishing an unfettered ‘right’ of Republican presidents to operate in any way they want.

This is right out of Adolf Hitler's playbook. They give a shlit about drugs. It's just to create scapegoats so people can hate them. It works extremely well. They can't accept that their country is so evil, so they are cognitively forced to see these murders as justified, which is far easier if you have racist tendencies. Cognitive Dissonance.

Ok batman

Andovars_Ghost Apr 20, 2026 +2
Batman? I was Air Force and we were using our AWACS aircraft as part of the counter-drug ops. I was down there when we moved from Panama to Curaçao.

Drenlin Apr 20, 2026 +5
I mean...yes? It's pretty well documented. Look up some pictures or videos of Coast Guard interdictions. A large chunk of them are ~30ft V-hulled fishing boats with 2-4 outboard motors attached.
5
PrestigiousFlan1091 Apr 20, 2026 +1
If that was the case it would be pretty easy to stop 99.9% of drugs entering the country. Somehow we don’t. They just throw us a photo op every now and then.
1
Drenlin Apr 20, 2026 +1
You may be underestimating how many of these boats they use? If you don't believe a US government source, go find just about any third-party documentary on the subject
1
PrestigiousFlan1091 Apr 20, 2026 +1
A fleet of that many boats would be pretty easy to identify.
1
Drenlin Apr 20, 2026 +1
Why do you think that?
1
PrestigiousFlan1091 Apr 20, 2026 +1
Because we live in constant surveillance. Thousands of random boats are not docking here unbeknownst.
1
Drenlin Apr 20, 2026 +1
What makes you think they're stored in the water?
1
PrestigiousFlan1091 Apr 20, 2026 +1
What makes you think they’re not?
1
Drenlin Apr 20, 2026 +1
They've been shown to use maintenance and loading facilities that are out of the water and even significantly inland on a number of occasions. Further, the ones that *are* stored in the water are often parked in bodies of water with dense tree cover like estuaries, mangrove forests, swamps, etc.  There's not going to be just a giant harbor full of drug boats. They're spread out in various areas across parts of two continents, not all operated by the same organization, and mostly blend in with civilian boats unless we're talking about a submarine or semi-submersible.

What you want Trump to start bombing American cities?
17
ChaoticGoodSamaritan Apr 20, 2026 +11
His deranged supporters do yes. So long as it's in blue States or cities.
11
DawnSennin Apr 19, 2026 +8
He would.
8
Ntroepy Apr 20, 2026 +7
Well, only democratic states/cities. He almost/kinda did that with ICE.
7
slim-picking Apr 20, 2026 +5
Well they don't come in on cargo vessels or jumbo jets.
5
PrestigiousFlan1091 Apr 20, 2026 +2
You sure about that?
2
slim-picking Apr 20, 2026 +4
Oh I'm sure some does but boats, planes and feet have been the common method for quite some time. You can move a lot more weight with less attention by being small and numerous.
4
ByteSizedGenius Apr 19, 2026 +14
It's estimated that there's something like 200 tons of cocaine consumed in the US annually. You don't need particularly large vessels to bring in a non-insignificant quantity.
14
scenr0 Apr 20, 2026 +1
I'm under the firm belief that this shit comes in the mail. Not on boats. Often from one country to the UK then through the UK customs into America.

Plenty gets made in the US breaking bad style

My boss from 7 years ago bought a temu or whatever it was during the pandemic, bought a gaming chair from China. It came with a Cue-ball sized void inside the neck pillow. So strange

>Wednesday’s strike brings the total of those killed in US military strikes on alleged drug boats to at least 177 177+ people killed unjustly. These are murders. Horrific. I had not realized this was still going on!

Gets buried under the constant violations of the constitution, ICE murdering US citizens, the Epstein files only being halfway released and in the half they were willing to release showed there’s a decent chance the President raped children, the constant back and forth in the Iran war, the invasion of Venezuela, Trump’s social media posts, Trump’s health, the market manipulation that is coming with the war, healthcare being stripped from millions so the ultra wealthy can get more tax breaks and so much more. “Flood the zone with shit” - Steve Bannon.
61
Tsenos Apr 19, 2026 +24
Less than 1% (by file size) of the Epstein files have been released https://time.com/7343702/epstein-files-release-doj/ Furthermore, many files have been programmatically renamed or edited by the doj (eg. Having only the first two seconds of video before going to black). Some users reported that manipulating the URL of some files made the original content visible: https://www.gadgetreview.com/how-a-basic-url-change-exposed-sensitive-epstein-files-on-doj-servers

Ntroepy Apr 20, 2026 +5
Trump has truly mastered the art of “*flood the zone with shit*”. And it’s worked shockingly well as he personally enriches himself while throwing the world into constant chaos.

Zero proof provided. US Soldiers are pushing these buttons. Never let any of them forget it.
22
mytimeasatuna Apr 19, 2026 +18
I am at the point where I simply don't give a f*** what happens to American soldiers in these conflicts, they are no longer innocent. They are following the illegal orders of a deranged orange pedophile. They are no better than Russian soldiers happily murdering their way through Ukraine.
18
hornswoggled111 Apr 20, 2026 +1
I expect it would take a very brave soldier to refuse an order to strike. They would also have to be more aware than many of what the regulations are around behavior like this.

I thought they stopped after Venezuela since they had their excuse

The_Corvair Apr 19, 2026 +5
You know what I would love to see? Tromp and Hague-set in front of an ICC court for their war crimes. So far, the reason the US isn't subjecting itself to the ICC has been that they don't need to, because they wouldn't ever do anything to violate its rules anyhow, and hold themselves to the highest code of conduct anyway. Well, that ship has been pretty decisively sunk, hasn't it?
5
Terrenator Apr 19, 2026 -1
lol no the reason US doesn't recognize ICC is because they constantly break their rules, and the Hague act is basically telling them that hard power is the only international law.

God bless the Trump administration for their hard work!!

Getting tired of losing in the Middle East so they hit innocent little boats closer to home and call it a win.
37
Z34L0 Apr 19, 2026 -47
Ahh yes the completely innocent drug dealing boats. Terrible loss for society.
-47
splvtoon Apr 20, 2026 +13
even if they knew that they were with 100% certainty, that still doesnt give the US the right to **kill them.** the punishment for suspected wrongdoing is not death.
13
4862skrrt2684 Apr 19, 2026 +17
I'd say the big reason is they are given capital punish with no trial or even actual proof. Because they don't take anyone in and just bomb them and all evidence, conveniently. There could even be children on these boats or hostages
17
Alarming-Safety3200 Apr 19, 2026 +25
kill a group of unarmed individuals, their only weapon being drugs and money, great country
25
Raptoroniandcheese Apr 19, 2026 +18
Drug dealing boats?! Lmao Side note: you KNOW they have drugs in the boat how????
18

You realize you support a guy that protects pedophiles as president and is one himself, right?
8
Potates42 Apr 19, 2026 +16
Only a complete drooling moron would believe anything coming from this administration.
16
Threecatproblem Apr 19, 2026 +16
And no one will ever be held accountable for the people who were killed that were NOT smuggling drugs. I can't believe how this administration has caused me to hate our country.

2
DukeandKate Apr 20, 2026 +6
Let's call it what it is extra-judicial "murder".
6
ootheballsoo Apr 19, 2026 +15
American government are terrorists.
15
SnooMemesjellies9003 Apr 19, 2026 -14
Look up what terrorism means bud
-14
ootheballsoo Apr 20, 2026 +16
Terrorism is generally defined as the use or threat of violence—often against civilians—intended to create fear and achieve political, ideological, religious, or social objectives. Pretty sure blowing up civilian boats with no proof of guilt, in another country, to say they are fighting narcos to protect America falls under this definition.
16
CanadasNeighbor Apr 20, 2026 +7
No one in the world will do anything about it.
7
No_Start1522 Apr 20, 2026 +1
Most of the world already does this.
1
Well__shit Apr 20, 2026 +3
We will never know how many drugs this stopped from getting into the country but I am curious what that number is
3
maglax Apr 19, 2026 +4
F*** gotta distract from our illegal war by bombing boats (probably illegally) then killing survivors (cause we gotta make sure nobody can argue we're not doing war crimes I guess).

These are just people bringing your suitcases back to you that missed your airline flight.
1
DarthOldMan Apr 20, 2026 -3
If the boats are still coming, clearly this tactic isn’t a deterrent.
