So let me get this straight. The US doesn't want American companies to supply Cubans with the resources they need to survive. That's why we have a trade embargo. Instead, they want Russian companies to supply Cubans with the resources they need to survive. If it isn't obvious who Donnie works for, it better be now! We're paying more for less while Russia is getting rich!

https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/us-seizing-venezuela-linked-oil-tanker-after-weeks-long-pursuit-2026-01-07/ The U.S. seized a Russian-flagged oil tanker that was being shadowed by a Russian submarine on Wednesday, after pursuing it for more than two weeks across the Atlantic as part of Washington's efforts to block Venezuelan oil exports, U.S. officials said. According to the Russian maritime register, the vessel, formerly known as Bella 1, has been re-registered under the name Marinera, flies the Russian flag, and is registered in Sochi.

Now im confused

It’s actually pretty easy: from that tanker, Trump will get a percentage into his account in Qatar, unlike before.

As an American who remembers the Cuban missile crisis; I think it would behoove the U.S. to allow it but to check the cargo first. Russia is in a desperate spot right now with the prosecution of its ports by Ukraine and the fall of Syria and perhaps eventually of the IRGC alongside sanctions. Putin loves to repeat history.

Cuba doesn't really matter as a missile platform now that everyone has ballistic missile submarines.

Why does Putin scare Trump so much? Nope, no colusion.

There is definitely a pee tape.

One-Abbreviations339 Mar 30, 2026 +3
Peeing on children ?
3
SeaTurtleLionBird Mar 30, 2026 +7
peeing in children. I heard he was docking with 12 year old boys. Many are reporting it.

LittleKitty235 Mar 30, 2026 +37
Collusion implies they are working together. It's more like extortion and they have something way more damning than the pee tapes everyone was worried about. I'd assume video of Trump having sex with underage girls.

He’d just claim it was AI and his followers would agree
11
LittleKitty235 Mar 30, 2026 +5
His followers are so dumb they cheer to impeach him because CPAC gave them the wrong vocal cue. MAGA supporters are one step below lemmings

kyrsjo Mar 30, 2026 +2
Sometimes I've thought that this is the real reason behind the mad rush for generative AI. Plausible deniability.

Their financial interests are totally aligned. The US and Russia are currently producing multiple proxy wars for the benefit of oligarchs in both countries. American and Russian oil barons are making record profits from irrationally inflated prices. The American and Russian oligarchs that run our respective military contractors are selling more weapons than ever. We can see all the profit motives for war all around us. Trump very publicly worked with Russian mobsters and oligarchs for decades. You’re proposing a theory that completely ignores all the evidence we have that Trump’s behavior is willful collusion.

I still think Trump simply genuinely admires Putin and wants his approval.
3
LittleKitty235 Mar 30, 2026 +2
He is thirsty like that

Some people are saying it’s not a “pee tape,” but a “P tape”— not P for piss, but P for pedophilia.

dontrike Mar 30, 2026 +3
Most people tend to be afraid of their boss, especially when that boss likely has a Titanic load of evidence of the various crimes, lesser, major, gruesome, and literal pedophilia, combined with holding some of your money by the throat. But then again that's all Trump's fault for being so bad with money that no bank will lend to you except for Russian ones.

tnolan182 Mar 30, 2026 +1
Pretty sure orange pedo’s hands are tied in this case. Russia has the ability to further worsen the price of oil and sending markets spiraling if the US were to take actions against Russia.

Trump is a russian agent destroying America from within.

What you think Trump should take the brave stance of killing more babies in incubators?

Good for Cuba. I feel terrible for those people.

Do-It-Anyway Mar 30, 2026 +18
I heard this somewhere else today and it was as if a lightbulb turned on. Mexico is right there, why can’t they provide the necessary oil/gas? It HAS TO BE the Russians? smh

mpbh Mar 30, 2026 +21
> Trump has threatened nations with punitive tariffs if they sell oil to Havana, and has also publicly contemplated the possibility of a "friendly takeover" of the Communist-ruled island. From the article. Mexico is not a major oil producer anyways.
21
ShareGlittering1502 Mar 30, 2026 +10
Not a major player but Mexico was sending them oil before
10
Chicago1871 Mar 30, 2026 +5
Enough to supply cuba though
5
MaloortCloud Mar 30, 2026 +3
Mexico is absolutely a major oil producer. They extract more than Venezuela, Libya, or Nigeria.
3
Ocelotocelotl Mar 30, 2026 +5
They were - until the US threatened them back in January.
5
Ulisex94420 Mar 30, 2026 +5
we did, for years, until Trump threatened us with even more tariffs if we kept doing it. Google is free, you can use it to inform yourself
5
joaquinsolo Mar 30, 2026 +4
Mexico has been sending them oil, but Mexico is very much influenced by US hegemony.  Sheinbaum can deny that she stopped the oil shipments on Mexico's sovereign decision, but I guarantee "Mexico's sovereign decision" was bc of American threats.
4
bmwkid Mar 30, 2026 +1
Mexico exports to the US so likely trying to avoid getting their oil sanctioned
1
TheCh0rt Mar 30, 2026 +1
What’s on the freighter? Close to American soil. Cuban missile crisis all over again? Because this is how it worked. Cuba was a proxy for Russia.
1
viola-purple Mar 30, 2026 -2
Where shall Mexico get the oil from in the moment? For that price. And Trump threatening all
-2
Chicago1871 Mar 30, 2026 +5
From its oil wells in the gulf?
5
kdogged Mar 30, 2026 +8
So this guy really is straight up a Russian asset no?

JohnHwagi Mar 30, 2026 +23
What a silly and foreseeable situation. Obviously the U.S. wasn’t going to sink a Russian oil tanker in the Caribbean. That’s why you only blockade a country you are or willing to be at war with..
23
Gleneroo Mar 30, 2026 -3
Sink ??? There are many ways to deal with it without sinking: disable engine by firing at it, trained tug, boarding it, ...
-3
marcoporno Mar 30, 2026 +4
Trump won’t mess with Russia as we have seen
4
Gleneroo Mar 30, 2026 +1
That's another thing. My point is we don't need to sink a tanker to prevent it from moving. There are many solutions, and for instance the tug it is implemented regularly.
1
cgsur Mar 30, 2026 +2
Trump has spent decades working with the Russians getting loans and moving money through real state for them. Yet lately Russian bots insist trump did not work together with Russia. Shrug. They would even let him bomb a tanker if they thought it would be a useful false flag.
2
Jrecondite Mar 30, 2026 +15
Russia tanker was like, “Move b****, get out the way”
15
Akunuti Mar 30, 2026 +11
Russia knows the US would never dare get in the way of their masters.
