\*murders. Even if they *were* running drugs, the punishment is not to be blown up. You get a trial. The people who ordered this and the people who carried out the orders are all murderers.

Depends on where they are to be honest.
China, Singapore, and several other Asian countries actually do execute people for drug trafficking. It usually only makes the news when they execute westerners.

If they knew that there were drugs on the boat and it was coming to the US, they could have intercepted it and seized the drugs. Probably for less money than bombing them.
The gain is propaganda. They are attempting to restructure the country and culture to be more like Russia. That's how these people think the world is supposed to work. Age of Enlightenment values are a weakness.

If Trump was doing this because he didn't want drugs to enter ther country, why did he pardon a notorious drug trafficker? If they wanted to prove that these strikes were done for the purpose of stopping drugs from entering the country, they could simply capture one of these boats instead of bombing it and killing the survivors to ensure there aren't any witnesses.

That would be an excellent question to ask at a trial. You know, the thing used to determine if someone deserves to be punished and if so how stringently. The thing that is supposed to happen prior to handing out the death penalty.
Innocent until proven guilty? Right to due process.
If the U.S. navy admitted that it can’t tell the difference between a military installation and girls school, when bombing buildings (which famously don’t move and had been a school for like 10 years… why do you think they would be able to accurately tell the cargo of a small water vessels which moves around and can change cargo at every port it visits?

That's what court is for, idiot. Why have court at all? It's expensive and a waste of tax payer money; if the government said you're a criminal, f*** the trail, straight to jail. Why would I want my tax money wasted on a trial for you?

Look at how quickly we stopped talking about that girl school that got leveled in Theran. A massacre.
Another god damn massacre.
What Americans call 9/11, what they can remember through a simple date. That's a Tuesday elsewhere, and the USA is behind soo many of this atrocities..
It's constant.
366
kstargate-4251 day ago
+93
Yeah this massacre was absolutely preventable as well, but besides using AI to choose the targets weeks in advance, because Trump and Hegseth scrapped the Pentagon's program that was designed to verify targets and limit collateral damage, no one saw that they were using decade old maps and information about the strike. Then they hit it again around 40mins later to ensure maximum collateral damage and killing any rescue workers that would have came to help.
Even then I'm not sure it wouldn't have mattered considering between the US & Israel over 600 schools, including close to 40 universities and 350ish hospitals and medical facilities so it seems like we have decided to go full mask off bad guy and follow in the footsteps of Israel and Russia who just two+ years ago Lindsey Graham was rightfully calling out for their double-tap and purposefully striking civilian buildings.

The infuriating part is, if you were genuinely interested in "regime change" then the LAST thing you would want to do is kill innocent kids, to turn the civilians against you. I sorta thought we might have learned that in Iraq and Afghanistan, but I guess the thing about this administration is their resolute determination to refuse to learn from past mistakes. No, we're going to destroy civilian infrastructure, electrical plants, water supply systems, as well as innocent civilans, and they'll come flocking to help us!

That is how they want you to feel, defeated and alone.
WE are still a nation for and of the people.
WE just have to say enough.
I’m not saying it’s easy but there are a lot more of us than them, WE need to remember that.
8
alien2sick1 day ago
That's ok I give up on humanity.. I've been trying since highschool to wake people up.. most people don't really care about anything unless it directly effects them. I also highly doubt there are more people who truly care or the world wouldn't be how it is rn

You are not alone and you’ve never been alone.
The modern world is built to push and pull us, to find boxes we fit in, to separate us.
The modern media landscape is bleak, controlled by those who have no incentive for the WE to realize that they aren’t alone.
Again this is fixable. It’s not impossible. I believe humans are good on the whole, we just allow the worst of us to shape us. That can and will change.
We know, we can and we should.
3
alien2sick1 day ago

People help others for the attention of helping others. But if you watch people behind closed doors most of that care you see is thined out. I've watched people enough...
