I never understood this, those boats are allegedly taking drug TO the USA right? So couldn't we just catch them when they get to US, and also catch the distributors, drug dealer in the USA with evidence????

That would be legal. We don't do that in this nation anymore.

But that would make sense and be according to the law.

For decades the US has quietly been taking down narco boats, disable the engine, bring over the highly armed skiffs. Handle the matter judicially afterwards, like a proper functioning country should.

The detail being buried is the lack of confirmation that the boat was actually involved in drug trafficking, only that it was alleged to be.

USA murdering sailors without authorisation, mandate or evidence based purely on feelings. Nice going USA, such heroism and bravery , you really got the moral high ground on this.

Evidence is the key word here, every anti drug raid by police or military in the last hundred years has always provide evidence and always made into a spectacle for the press, to show proudly their effectiveness.
But here? Nada, nothing, not even fake one. It's only "Trust me, Bro" and then showing the waste of a hundred-thousand dollar missiles on maybe 1000 dollar boat.
