LOL so NOW they care about latin america? Uruguay and a lot of other latinamerican countries have been relying on China for years. Uruguay alone has manufacturing and infrastructure contracts to the point that China is Uruguay's biggest trading partner... US influence is weaning.. hope the orange cheeto's team realizes that america first just means opportunities for other countries to establish better deals... Lets not forget... these moves started as a response to Trump's first presidency... They do realize it, hence this move. Uruguay was one decision away from being branded a brutal communist dictatorship by the US propaganda machine.

US could try but China is the country's largest trade partner with Brazil second and US third.
