The military is diverse actually. There are MAGA and marxists in the same squads. 

While it might hurt what the voters actually do it echos their “conservative values.” This is one of those things where they don’t practice what they preach. However what they preach is held more dear to them than what they actually practice and therefore they will still vote on the side that upholds their perceived values and not their practices.

Not sure of Active Duty personnel, but I know plenty of vets who do not support Trump. Although, that doesn’t really mean much.

Family member is a civ contractor in a naval office and almost every person willing to speak is a trump supporter. The only people who do not speak appear to be the contractors and the captain on site. 

I suspect that if the majority still exists, it is slim.  There's a bias produced by the vocal, excited young recruits being vocal supporters - but "who makes the most noise" is not a representative population sample.

A lot of jobs that Americans do are significantly more important than soldiers. Idk maybe I'm an outlier but I particularly enjoy having electricity, clean water, trash removal, food available in stores. Not too concerned about getting blown up by an Iranian missile at the moment, maybe after lunch.

I think we're so far from this capability now in America it seems impossible. We'd have to completely restructure our educational requirements, and get rid of things like Fox News which are actually just meant as entertainment and outrage farming. As long as a huge majority of this country is uneducated and proud of that fact, we're in a downward spiral I believe.

Trump in the loop and giving oversight would do nothing differently. He may only be seeing what Miller is doing on Fox News these days and thinking "...I did that? I guess I did!" and clap along, but even at his most lucid, he was completely for the deporting of -all- foreigners and minorities while using the 'illegal' label as cover. Revoking the citizenship of minority citizens to deport them was a thing he was talking about even back in his dementia-addled first term.

The millions of Americans who were too lazy to get out and vote I put this on them. The fools that voted for Trump are a lost cause. But the lazy ones were fine with this.

I have never been more disappointment in the Dems. People like Obama and every other democratic powerhouse should be going on every social media outlet and decrying this joke of a government. Take advantage of this MAGA fracture. Drive a truck through it. Go on these conservative podcast and make your point. I barely hear a peep. Reds have the social media game cornered. Every time Cheeto dust answers questions from NYT or CNN, he pretty much insults the reporter, calling them fake news. Calls them piggy. Pretty much refuses to answer the question, but goes on a tangent about radial left fake news and yet, no one calls him out on it. Where is K Harris? At least Newsome tries his best but beyond that, I find the response laughable. I may be wrong, but that's how I'm seeing things. I'm tired of that "they go low, we go high" BS.

Exactly Miss me with all those takes that imply that MAGA legit thought Trump was the peace guy, that they got tricked into it, that it's about anything other than bigotry and cruelty, that they're turning on him, any of that. I mean, people can't even talk about his abysmal, truly awful first term without making it sound like it was okay and this one suddenly got bad, for f***'s sake. It's been a decade of this, how are we still even having these conversations. I've never seen a single person in my life time be as clearly and consistently awful, about anything and everything, as Trump, and somehow it feels like a majority of the discourse around him, even discourse against him, pulls its punches.

And overstaying a visa and becoming illegal (not originally crossing illegally) is not even a crime, it’s a civil offense and that’s one of the more common undocumented scenarios….so a lot of them aren’t even criminals for being undocumented like they claim

Well, at least they didn't have to murder her in order to detain her. Some measure of progress, although that is a taboo word for the Trump administration and MAGA.

It's never been automatic, though you do get fast-tracked (not that fast).

There was no automatic citizenship but there was a path for it previously that protected military members that doesn’t apply anymore under the current administration

Basically every country in Latin American hates the country south of them.  When I was in Mexico they were relentlessly shit talking DR's/Guatemalan. Similar in Costa Rica.
