Yeah that's not how this works idiots.  You can't just pick and choose which deadlines you want to go along with in  an agreement that was signed years ago.

When you look at the sticking points from the Americans, it's basically a list of demands for Canada to drop it's food safety standards and hand over a chunk of sovereignty as well. The deal isn't enough for them and they want Canada to put America first. Keep diversifying, keep moving on. At this rate, America doesn't even look like a stable country. I hope Canada continues to work on diversifying and reaching out to more stable partners such as Europe.

We've seen what happens if you negotiate with republicans and leave them any leverage. They will take what they can and then they will tell you there's time for a new negotiation. They will betray the deal the moment they think that they can get more. It is insane to me how there is widespread denial of this fact even after we've watched it happen so many times.

Don't trust someone that asks Listnook how to make food for his business. He has no idea what's going on.

“On July 1, the three countries need to approve a renewal of the existing USMCA agreement or signal their intention to exit the pact, a process that takes 10 years, but which would buy more time for alterations.” So….  just wait these shitheels out…

Yup.  That's what Canada is doing.   They'll basically let the renewal date pass, and then stop talking to the US
