I mean yeah she shouldn’t be unsupervised around children.

She hit her kid with a chair when she was trying to hit her husband with it, so yeah I agree.

It must feel horrible to be in her shoes right now but she was dangerous in that video and the kid deserves a safe home.

I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't care. I know nothing about her but it's REALLLY hard for moms to lose their kids in this country without a drug addiction.

If she was really troubled by her anger in front of her children, she would have done something about it a long time ago.

Or mental illness
24
-Gramsci- Apr 7, 2026 +24
Which she, clearly, has. And like so much of the media/entertainment industry these days… people with mental illness seem to get all the attention. It’s being normalized and it’s having fairly devastating consequences on society. This time using the mental illness for ratings backfired… but it usually works. (That’s why they cast her in the first place).
24
Physical_Ease6658 Apr 7, 2026 +5
Why is the mental illness clear? She mention that on one of the shows?
5
kkwheeler1 Apr 8, 2026 +9
It looks more personality disorder than mental illness
9
Physical_Ease6658 Apr 8, 2026 +7
BPD is an illness.
7
kkwheeler1 Apr 8, 2026 +3
It isn’t. It’s a personality disorder. Mental illness medications don’t help with the disorder. It’s a mental health disorder but it’s not an illness per se.

Gloomy-Welcome-6806 Apr 8, 2026 +2
Apparently the scientific community cannot decide if a personality disorder is a mental illness/disorder. There’s arguments from both sides. https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/the-british-journal-of-psychiatry/article/distinction-between-personality-disorder-and-mental-illness/F4FC446AEB38B5704ED132245F86E93B

Lol what is an illness to you?

ripyourlungsdave Apr 8, 2026
Ehhh. That one can be tough as well. Unless they're barely lucid *most of the time*, they're going to have a hard time getting their kids taken away for mental health issues.

countd0wns Apr 8, 2026 +5
And in this case the alternative parent has the drug addiction. The kid has no winning choice sadly.

QualityKatie Apr 8, 2026 +2
She probably does care. Now she has to do something about it. I imagine that includes addressing her alcoholism.
2
kinkyslc1 Apr 7, 2026 +2
Especially in Utah.
2
SmartWonderWoman Apr 8, 2026 +1
That’s not true based on my lived experience.

The maybe craziest part of this is that the incident in question occurred 3 years ago, and the police have known about the circumstances of this 3 years ago, because she was arrested for it. Yet nothing happened back then.
17
ntsp00 Apr 8, 2026 +5
The actual crazy part is still nothing has happened. This isn't about the daughter that she hit in the head with a metal barstool, this is about the 2-year-old son they had together after-the-fact. Her daughter has a different dad and Taylor presumably still has at least shared custody of her. There's a new domestic violence situation that happened a couple of weeks ago that prompted Dakota (2-year-old's dad) to file for a protective order against Taylor which granted him temporary full custody of the 2-year-old. Today's hearing extended that to April 30th at which time the judge is going to decide long-term custody. Granted Taylor is a convicted felon for the assault, but custody-wise nothing ever happened from the barstool incident.

notarealprincess Apr 8, 2026 +4
She is actually not a convicted felon because her plea deal changed the charges into a misdemeanor offense.
4
ntsp00 Apr 8, 2026 +6
She **is** a convicted felon, under the plea deal her felony doesn't get reduced to a misdemeanor until the completion of 3 years of probation - which isn't over until August 2026. Not to mention she may very well might violate probation since she's being investigated for new domestic violence allegations. Violating would void her plea agreement, and she would be charged all over again - including the additional charges that were dropped under the plea agreement. She "only" plead guild to aggravated assault, but there were originally other charges as well such as child endangerment. Regardless of whether she gets violated for this recent incident, **she 100% is currently a convicted felon.**
6
IANALbutIAMAcat Apr 8, 2026 +1
That’s not how that works. The charge is set aside until the end of the probationary period. I currently have this arrangement for a charge in Utah and the judge explained very clearly to me that my plea bargain did not mean I was being convicted but would be convicted if I failed to meet the arrangements of my bargain.

_AmericasSweetheart_ Apr 8, 2026 +2
When it first broke I was so confused because they talked about it on the show. I thought there was a second instance because it's weird how the information was available but it was portrayed like a breaking story.

nola_fan Apr 8, 2026 +6
The Bachelorette got canceled for something happened in the very first tv show she appeared on. Her arrest was on camera. Everyone knew this happened. Everyone who mattered, including the networks, her ex, and the state, new the details about what happened. It happening is partially why she was famois to begin with.
6
notarealprincess Apr 8, 2026
Yeah cause the prosecutors dropped the ball and gave her a plea deal that got rid of the worse charges

thegracelesswonder Apr 8, 2026 +13
Who gives af how she feels? Like wtf

_AmericasSweetheart_ Apr 8, 2026 -5
I am a mom, so it's kind of a reflex to picture my daughter or myself in that situation.
-5
lizzy981 Apr 8, 2026 +9
Do you feel bad for the men who abuse their wives and children? She's a piece of shit just like every guy who behaves like she does.
9
_AmericasSweetheart_ Apr 8, 2026 -4
Yeah, you're so far off from my original comment. You should find a better comment to vent on.
-4
VariousExternal5189 Apr 8, 2026 +4
And it wasn't the only time she went shit bat crazy.
4
Letiferr Apr 8, 2026 -2
I'm confident that horrible is not a feeling she's capable of feeling. If that weren't the case maybe she wouldn't be such an absolute piece of dog shit excuse of a human being. The god she worships knows he fucked up on her
-2
Artistic_Half_8301 Apr 8, 2026 +18
She belongs in prison.
18
Creepy_Ad_1315 Apr 8, 2026 +4
This chick should t be unsupervised around adults much less children.
4
Shot_Woodpecker_5025 Apr 7, 2026 +43
This is better than no visitation and with a neutral third party at least there won’t be baseless accusations of her behavior since everything will be monitored. It’s not ideal but certainly better than how it’s been.
43
ntsp00 Apr 8, 2026 +31
Have there been baseless accusations against her in the past or something? Because her hitting her daughter in the head with a barstool is on video
31
Maximum_Tip_1441 Apr 8, 2026 +9
Then she screamed at the child verbally blaming her behavior on the child. Too much abuse in that home. Mom needs a psych evaluation.
9
Shot_Woodpecker_5025 Apr 8, 2026
I am saying that having a neutral third party overseeing visits eliminates that as a possibility.

I misread that as Ruby Frankee.....
19
SadExercises420 Apr 8, 2026 +10
Ruby Frankes husband still doesn’t have custody of his kids…
10
jf3l Apr 8, 2026 +15
he abandoned his family to let an obvious nut job move into his home and take over his life
15
Dowew Apr 8, 2026 +13
The husband has religious trauma. He failed to stand up for himself and his children and accepted that he had to leave his children in a gulag because of his "p*** addiction". The man made no effort to see his children or accert his parental rights for over a year. I don't believe for a moment he has the skills to be a single parent to multiple traumatized abused kids.

Same… and I somehow read the name multiple times but kept picturing RF. I was surprised people were being so forgiving in the comments.

Same lol

Wait, this lady got arrested AND THEN she became a tv star BECAUSE IF IT?? We reward someone like that by making them famous and we wonder why our society is going downhill. Disgusting
11
NZafe Apr 8, 2026 +6
Her arrest wasn’t a positive contribution to her fame at all. It was a detractor back then, but was “covered up” well. It derailed the first season of her reality show and forced filming to go on pause. She was “TikTok famous” before the arrest.

Opening-Calendar3421 Apr 8, 2026 +6
Nah it definitely helped because it created more interest in the show

Yeah, after that video I get it.

Mind giving me a tldr. I don't even know who this person is, literally nev4 heard of her name before now.
2
Ashland6 Apr 8, 2026 +2
The next candidate for The Bachelorette who was caught on camera having a violent domestic dispute with her baby’s daddy where she threw chairs at him while her young daughter was sitting nearby on a couch, who was struck and injured.
2
belac4862 Apr 8, 2026 +1
Oh shit! I remember hearing something about the bachelor getting canceled but didn't even look into it as I honestly don't care about those types of shows. Is the kid alright, at least? What a POS mother she is.

Should he? I mean… are those kids safe with either of them

Not a good looking mug, you have to admit.
1
wittor Apr 7, 2026 -13
It is my understanding that the father is also abusive towards her and the kid would be in danger with either of them.
-13
ntsp00 Apr 8, 2026 +7
Didn't she hit her own daughter in the head with a metal barstool she threw? What's something the dad has done to put the child in danger?
7
wittor Apr 8, 2026 -3
He has a documented history of being violent and abusive towards her too.  As I clearly said, they both are unfit and a danger to the child.  I
-3
ntsp00 Apr 8, 2026 +4
Documented where? She's the only one that's been arrested and convicted of felony assault. It seems weird to say "well he's just as bad" when she's the only one with the actual documented history of violence.

Her husband got what he wanted with tape release. Something tells me he is going resent it to as doubt the time sacrifice of being a dad is up his alley. The goal was child support and alimony but he permanently closed all their revenue streams in his power play. Overall just feel bad for the kids as suspect they got stuck with two shitty selfish parents.
-7
VolcanoGrrrrrl Apr 8, 2026 +5
She was never married to the father of her son. And TMZ applied for the release of the footage after finding out he'd made more allegations of assault in February. She tried to strangle him while they were in the car with their son in the backseat.
