Everyone is growing tired of working for Vin Diesel and I can't imagine the headaches of having to figure out that insane cliffhanger.

I dkn't know why they thought that wrapping up that movie with a terrible cliffhanger was a good idea, it made absolutely no sense, it's equivalent to ending a John Wick movie during a high octane fight scene, ehat a terrible rug pull.

The fact they filmed that ending with absolutely nothing written for the future is ridiculous. They didn't have a script, funding, anything. Just yep, they're all dead or about to be.

That movie doesn’t even have a finished script yet they just brought on a new writer for it. So filming probably won’t start until next year, he has enough time to shoot this before.

Everyone needs some misses in their filmography, although in this case you have to wonder at someone's thought process saying yes to Leterrier with his record.

Leterrier has done some decent work before (Unleashed, Transporter 2, The Incredible Hulk), but he isn't the type of person you bring to elevate a project. He's the guy you hire when you want something done under-budget and on-schedule, without out any pushback.

>Liminal is based on the AWA graphic novel Telepaths by Eisner Award w***** J. Michael Straczynski, Steve Epting and Brian Reber. While the plot of the feature take is being kept under wraps, the source material takes place in a world where a tenth of the population suddenly gains telepathic powers as a result of electromagnetic disturbance. Subsequently, newly telepathic Boston police find themselves contending with a faction, led by a wrongly convicted prisoner, who are trying to escape a world in which their powers will make them targets.

That's a strong duo, both of them have crazy screen presence.

Kirby and Abdul-Mateen II is a killer pairing. Leterrier directing is a solid get, too. Honestly, after that Fast X cliffhanger, I'd also jump at the chance to make literally anything else.
