Crazy how the Israeli fire just does that on its own without any active agent in the sentence

Also crazy how this is a violation of U.S. Law. I wonder when they’re going to stop funding Israeli crimes against humanity under the terms of their own laws? [22 U.S. Code § 2378d](https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/22/2378d) says "[n]o assistance shall be furnished . . . to any unit of the security forces of a foreign country if the Secretary of State has credible information that such unit has committed a gross violation of human rights"

Let's be real, the current administration believes human rights are only for the billionaires and isreal. Everyone else can get fucked, apparently.

Congress voted down limiting AIPAC’s lobbying powers. It’s very doubtful they give two shits about what has happened with in Gaza.

Guess who the Secretary of State is? Marco Rubio. Marco says this information is not credible. Thus, there is no violation of any US law. \--- Boy, those Uncommitted really helped Gaza out, didn't they!

I think you'll find that the bodies of Hamas are mostly made of water, this is nothing but self defence and the people of Gaza just need to learn to live without water for a while.

UltraHyperDonkeyDick 5 days ago +24
It was going to be that, or the water truck driver was transporting scuba diving Hamas members.

Andovars_Ghost 5 days ago +4
The truck was *MADE* out of Hamas members! They are like those acts in the 70s and 80s where the performers combined to make moving objects. OR, they’ve actually become Transformers!

Hamas is using those trucks as water shields

“The United Nations children’s agency UNICEF said on Friday it was “outraged” after two truck drivers it contracted to deliver clean water to families in the Gaza Strip were killed by Israeli fire.” Did the geniuses contact the Israelis in charge of the route they were going through first?

It doesn’t sound like that was the problem. “The UN agency said in a statement the incident occurred during routine water trucking Friday morning at the Mansoura water filling point in northern Gaza, which supplies Gaza City. Two others were injured in the attack. UNICEF said it had suspended activities at the site and called on Israeli authorities to investigate, stressing that humanitarian workers, civilians and vital water infrastructure must be protected under international humanitarian law.”
44
princemousey1 5 days ago -53
It sounds like that was exactly the problem. What gives them the right to enter the war zone?

> The UN agency said in a statement the incident occurred during routine water trucking Friday morning at the Mansoura water filling point in northern Gaza, which supplies Gaza City. Two others were injured in the attack. Why would you instantly imply that they were being reckless in a warzone for no good reason?
53
princemousey1 5 days ago -55
Wait, is this satire? That’s exactly what I was implying. Why are they being so reckless in a war zone?
-55
DeadGuyInRoom4 5 days ago +29
[They’re not.](https://www.unicef.org/press-releases/statement-unicef-killing-two-water-truck-drivers-gaza-strip-0) “The incident, in which two other people were injured, occurred during routine, water trucking operations, with no changes in movement or procedures. The Mansoura water filling point is currently the only operational truck filling point for the Mekorot water supply line serving Gaza City. UNICEF and humanitarian partners use it multiple times a day to sustain critical water trucking operations for hundreds of thousands of people, including children.”

How does this detract from what I said? You just declare a random point in a war zone and expect to have safe passage to it without coordinating with anyone else?
-10
DeadGuyInRoom4 5 days ago +32
Where are you getting the idea they hadn’t coordinated with someone that they were expected or required to? They are a humanitarian organization providing humanitarian aid in a war zone. This is routine, multiple trips a day water transport that they were completing as per usual - “with no change in movement or operations.”
32
cassydd 5 days ago +21
Your implication was that they must have been killed by Israel because they were being needlessly reckless and consequently that it was their fault and not the IDF's, where there was nothing to back that assertion up.
21
princemousey1 5 days ago -6
See reply to other guy, same thing. They didn’t liaise with anyone before entering a random point in a war zone.

DeadGuyInRoom4 5 days ago +25
You still haven’t provided a source for that claim (or any, for that matter). Would be super helpful.
25
princemousey1 5 days ago +2
What? It’s the same article. Only difference is I’m reading it neutrally and without anti-Israeli glasses on. Where does the UN claim that the trucks were marked or that they liaised with Israeli authorities beforehand?
2
DeadGuyInRoom4 5 days ago +22
No one except you has claimed that completing their normal, day-to-day operations on their normal route required any special liaising. This isn’t new, and there was no change in movement or operations. So they did what they do every day.
22
princemousey1 5 days ago
There’s nothing routine about any sort of movements in a war zone. As I said, take off your anti-Israeli glasses before you read.

I’m quoting the article. You’re making things up.

I don't know, but I wonder how the buffoons missed the big "UN" signs on the truck.
15
princemousey1 5 days ago +4
Yup, you’d obviously pick the anti-Israeli narrative. That seems to be the in thing to do these days. The trucks weren’t marked.
4
TheLoneTokayMB01 5 days ago +15
>The trucks weren’t marked. And them not knowing at what they were shooting should make it better? I wonder why there's an anti-israeli sentiment nowadays... Obviously antisemitism, can't be disdain for their unpunished repeated abuses and crimes...
15
princemousey1 5 days ago +3
It’s a war zone against an enemy known to use unmarked truck as suicide bombs. The people trying to be anti-Israeli at any means is really insane. Look at the facts.
3
terragutti 5 days ago +12
Ok but what facts? Wheres the link saying it was unmarked?

DeadGuyInRoom4 5 days ago +9
How do you know? Neither the article nor any statement I’ve read said that… surely it’s not too much to ask for a source for your claim?
