I don't watch a lot of sitcoms, but I thought DMV was pretty good. Had potential anyway.

You should give Stumble and St Denis Medical a go.

Amon7777 Mar 28, 2026 +59
Stumble is easily the best new sitcom by a mile
59
tape_deck__heart Mar 28, 2026 +59
St. Denis is amazing, consistently funny and only in its second season. Love it and tell everyone I know to watch it
59
CaravelClerihew Mar 28, 2026 +24
You'd like Stumble too! St Denis has just been renewed for a new season and is heading to Netflix, so its future looks good. Stumble is just as good but hasn't been renewed yet so needs the viewership.
24
tape_deck__heart Mar 28, 2026 +26
Finished stumble last week! Very good show, Reggie Dinkins is great too. NBC has a good comedy lineup right now
26
lbfan1638 Mar 28, 2026 +13
Yes on Stumble and yes on Reggie Dinkins. Both solid shows. Not sure how the viewership is on Reggie Dinkins but I know Stumble was struggling. I was surprised at the chemistry of the main adult couple; nice to see a (relatively) healthy relationship for once lol.
13
HeyItsChase Mar 28, 2026 +19
St Denis is great it's going to succeed. Stumble is great but I'm scared for it. Its so lovable but I don't know how many eyes it's reached. Hopefully the low budget keeps it on. Courtney and Boon is an all time TV couple already.
19
SuperDizz Mar 28, 2026 +11
Reggie Dinkins is the best sitcom on TV right now save Abbott imho
11
SoWrongItsPainful Mar 28, 2026 +6
Don’t leave out Reggie Dinkins
6
Poetryisalive Mar 28, 2026 +3
St Dennis imo is such a miss. Still trying to get that spark like they did with superstore
3
oorza Mar 28, 2026 +1
Superstore was always literally just Great Value Office. They should stop trying to do workplace comedies without people like Greg Daniels who actually have biting commentary to make. When you're shooting for an oft-forgotten bootleg imitation of an actually successful show and frequently failing, why are you even still making the show? I've forced myself to sit through three or four eps of St Denis several times and I'm convinced it's only popular because there's such a comedy drought. It's just ass.
1
footballheroeater Mar 28, 2026 +1
Every episode feels the same and there is no character growth.
1
Mochman21 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Every 5 or so episodes St Denis is really funny but the in between episodes are always so inert. It’s frustrating because I like the cast, I just wish it was more consistently funny
1
Watson349B Mar 28, 2026 +1
Those two are way better with at least a few likable characters lol
1
Pidder_Paddy Mar 27, 2026 +42
Really enjoyed the royal pains reunion of the first episode
42
we-made-it Mar 27, 2026 +4
Omg. I noticed that too.
4
fdbryant3 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Yeah, I was trying to figure out if there was connection on the production team.

Coolman_Rosso Mar 28, 2026 +11
Tim Meadows has bad luck with TV shows
11
Tryingagain1979 Mar 27, 2026 +14
St Denis Medical is good.
14
JordanDoesTV Mar 27, 2026 +4
Really, I watched the pilot, and it felt super messy like I knew it’d be cancelled immediately.

I think im just done with the Mocumentary Comedy format.

HotOne9364 Mar 28, 2026 +7
I'll do anything to support Daniel Radcliffe. He's like the Mark Hamill of my generation.
7

Me as well
1
baummer Mar 28, 2026 +1
I think the cast chemistry just wasn’t there
1
TitShark Mar 27, 2026 +216
Watson should have been a proper Lucy Liu spinoff
216
DigiQuip Mar 27, 2026 +74
Watching Elementary right now. I really like it.
74
trivia_guy Mar 27, 2026 +54
The plots are as even more predictable than most procedurals, but the character work in that show is amazing. The evolution of the Sherlock/Watson relationship and how they change because of each other is so awesome.
54
TitShark Mar 27, 2026 +23
I was just describing this to someone else and the way they handle humanity and personal growth is very refreshing for a procedural
23
DigiQuip Mar 27, 2026 +14
Strangely enough, the mysteries are the worst part. But the characters are incredible. Minus the Mycroft plot, I’ve loved how the characters are developed.
14
trivia_guy Mar 28, 2026 +10
I wish they would’ve done more with Moriarty; there was so much potential there. I think the actor was just too busy to keep appearing, though. Yeah, the plots are so predictable though lol. The perp is pretty much always like, the second person they talk to.
10
hankjmoody Mar 28, 2026 +6
> I think the actor was just too busy to keep appearing, though. She got a starring role in Game of Thrones at the time, which I'd imagine made her less available...and more expensive. Lol. She was great, though!
6
trivia_guy Mar 28, 2026 +1
She was already on Game of Thrones, her first episode there was over a year before she premiered on Elementary. Thus why I said she “was” too busy rather than “got” too busy; Elementary was clearly only ever supposed to be a sideline.
1
hankjmoody Mar 28, 2026 +6
Wasn't a massive fan of the plotline involving Mycroft, but Rhys Ifans was fantastic as the character. I really wished they had more Mycroft/Holmes Vs. Father, though.
6
DigiQuip Mar 28, 2026 +5
If I had a dollar for every time John Noble played a father who had an extreme preference for one of his two children I had have two dollars. Which isn’t a lot but it’s kinda weird it happened twice.
5
hankjmoody Mar 28, 2026 +2
Wouldn't you have three dollars? 1. Walter Bishop. 2. Morland Holmes. 3. Denethor.
2
DigiQuip Mar 28, 2026 +3
Didn’t Walter only have one son, though?
3
hankjmoody Mar 28, 2026 +2
Ugh...I can't afford to rewatch Fringe at the moment to be able to answer that. Lol. You might be right.
2
DigiQuip Mar 28, 2026 +2
I can't remember either.
2
jubbergun Mar 28, 2026 +2
His son died, so he stole a replacement from the neighboring alternate reality, which caused some shit. So I guess technically he had two sons and favored the stolen one over the dead one.
2
ddocfan Mar 28, 2026 +8
Thank you. The fact that this Watson was created by some of the same people who did Elementary made it even more bizarre.
8
BrianMincey Mar 28, 2026 +2
That would have really worked too. She was so much better than anyone else in that cast.
2
ddocfan Mar 28, 2026 +2
SO much better. But I always felt the showrunner and writers were JLM fanboys first and foremost, which became annoying as the series went on.
2
CrissBliss Mar 27, 2026 +138
Ohh no I liked DMV
138
grimace24 Mar 27, 2026 +70
DMV started very slow but found itself second half of its run. It was too late by then.
70
ProtomanBn Mar 28, 2026 +13
I felt the opposite, first half was funny but when it came back after the break it never hit again
13
CaravelClerihew Mar 27, 2026 +14
I think of people (and TV execs) forget that plenty of now classic shows had a really weak first season. Parks and Rec and Star Trek: TNG are notable examples.
14
grimace24 Mar 28, 2026 +8
You forget Seinfeld. Truthfully, I am surprised Seinfeld got renewed after that awful first season.
8
Rich_Housing971 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Season 1 was solid back then. If you're watching it from the perspective of modern day sitcoms, it's mediocre, but it still has its moments. Re-watch Family Matters or Full House. Absolute garbage by today's standards. You could watch Urkel predictably say, "Did I do that?" or you could watch Seinfeld.
1
grimace24 Mar 28, 2026 +1
I remember when it aired. It was boring to me then. Comparing Seinfeld to two family sitcoms is comparing apples to oranges. Compare it to Cheers or Coach at least. Seinfeld found itself midway through season 2, it peaked its last three seasons.
1
Toby_O_Notoby Mar 28, 2026 +5
Mike Schur who was the showrunner on Parks and Rec said the best way to make a sitcom would be to film 10 episodes, throw them in the trash and air the 11th episode as a pilot.
5
quickster_irony Mar 28, 2026 +3
I wholeheartedly agree with this comment. But seeing Parks and Rec being referred to as “classic” makes me feel old. 👴🏼
3
farang69420 Mar 28, 2026 +3
The Office (US) too.
3
phantombrick22 Mar 28, 2026 +3
Yeah they fucked up devoting so much time in the first half to Collete trying to date Noah. Doesn’t help that she was pretty irritating
3
Billybob35 Mar 27, 2026 +1
A lot of shows are like that actually, took me a bit to fully get into Breaking Bad. It also took a bit for Steven Universe to get momentum, but then it just kind of did nothing with it.
1
ICUMF1962 Mar 27, 2026 +33
I hoped DMV might make it but I also am not surprised it didn’t make a mark. I did find myself laughing more in some of the recent episodes since they moved away from Colette’s crush on Noa. Shame, this cast was likable.
33
mmmTriscuit Mar 28, 2026 +3
I felt like they've been hitting their stride a bit the last few episodes, or at least have been close!
3
ICUMF1962 Mar 28, 2026 +7
I had a good laugh when the students visited and Vic and Noa thought one of the kids was Vic’s and even Noa said “inseminaysh” and was disgusted with himself. I had also hoped Barb would be like a Dina from Superstore type of character in the long run but alas, it wasn’t meant to be.
7
devlindisguise Mar 28, 2026 +2
This was what I was gonna post before I fell asleep lol. The early episodes didn't do the show any favors but the latest ones focusing more on the ensemble are pretty funny. The early ones focused on mostly Colette felt cringe and mostly unbelievable because I just can't buy Harriet Dyer as an awkward loser that nobody really liked. Loved her in American Auto and Colin from Accounts so I know she will land on her feet.
2
Mr_Wh0ever Mar 27, 2026 +23
Watson was definitely a lazy House M.D. rip-off, and I never watched DMV, but I'd have to assume it stuck too closely to the workplace comedy formula.
23
keving87 Mar 27, 2026 +73
I've been watching DMV since it started, it's alright... I wanted to like it more than I did but it just never fully clicked. I'd have kept watching it if it returned but it getting cancelled doesn't really surprise me and I probably won't really think about it once it's gone.
73
InevitableBad589 Mar 28, 2026 +17
I really liked Tim Meadows on it (he's good in everything) but some of the characters were annoying/terrible. Barb was a particularly dumb character.
17
swanny246 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Barb felt like a carbon copy of Dina from Superstore
1
mmmTriscuit Mar 28, 2026 +1
Nooo I love Barb!
1
JJMcGee83 Mar 28, 2026 +5
Kind of how I felt. American Auto was a better show and that one is gone too.
5
oooriole09 Mar 27, 2026 +7
DMV was like 85% of the way to being a good sitcom. It has its moments and the cast was pretty solid, I just don’t think it did anything special to make it stick.
7
StixnStones69 Mar 27, 2026 +8
I felt the same way. Honestly, I think it was because the main actress was miscast. She didn’t work as the straight man, and in turn there was nothing anchoring down the rest of the wacky cast. She also wasn’t charming or cute enough to endear the audience to her in spite of everything else. And it was pretty hard to root for the romance too, she’s not ugly, but I don’t think her and the mega handsome love interest really made sense as a couple, and they didn’t have any chemistry. All in all, the show had potential, but wasn’t able to unlock it. Maybe it was just doomed from the start.
8
keving87 Mar 27, 2026 +7
It also threw me off having Harriet Dyer (Colette) play an American instead of Australian while Alex Tarrant (Noa) got to keep his New Zealand accent. Maybe without having to spend so much time in the US, they can get back to doing more Colin from Accounts.
7
minnick27 Mar 28, 2026 +5
[Good news](https://www.tvinsider.com/1185545/colin-from-accounts-season-3-renewed-premiere-date-trailer-cast-plot-paramount-plus/)

RegulatoryCapture Mar 27, 2026 +3
She is so much better in Colin from Accounts.  I’m sure us network sitcom money is way better, but the show wasn’t better.

[Made me love her at first sight.](https://youtu.be/evhyaeBPeEY?si=mgicyjExAIEztNKF)
1
foxsable Mar 28, 2026 +2
I wish they had turned the knob like 10% more serious. Like, at least Superstore had a lead straight-man to tone down the zaniness of the clowns.
2
Hari_Azole Mar 28, 2026 +12
Totally expected this but I liked DMV…enough to watch the whole season thus far… Molly Kearney is a star! I thought they were easily the breakout star of the show and gave us a taste of what we missed out on when they were cut from SNL. Also, Tim Meadows was great too and is criminally under-appreciated. He’s both funny and cool.
12
defconz Mar 27, 2026 +123
You know I try to watch shows on network tv but y’all keep canceling them.
123
TootieSummers Mar 27, 2026 +72
Watson and DMV aired for 20 weeks this season. If you couldn’t catch them in that much time, you weren’t ever going to.
72
deadudea Mar 27, 2026 +43
They didn't say anything about not watching it...
43
Massive_Weiner Mar 28, 2026 +4
They didn’t understand what was being said.
4
stormy2587 Mar 27, 2026 +10
I feel like it used to be a thing at network where they had execs with some vision who would fight for shows that would eventually break through and become hits. That seems to basically never happen anymore. Like it’s hard to give network shows a shot when the possibility of a sleeper hits is basically dead.
10
CouncilmanRickPrime Mar 27, 2026 +21
Shows got cancelled all the time, even in the 90s. This is nothing new. I was watching a show that got cancelled back then. No update, no announcement, nothing. It just disappears like it didn't happen. At least now we can easily look it up.
21
BannedAccount001 Mar 27, 2026 +5
You’re referring to the survivorship bias of the exceptions, not the norm. It still happens all the same, and just like back then, it’s the rare exceptions.
5
JettzenL Mar 28, 2026 +1
Doesn't quite have the punch as a show that's the classic medical, cop, firefighter, or law program haha
1
firedrakes Mar 27, 2026 +43
watson had something going. they never did the story for it.
43
auflyne Mar 27, 2026 +17
It was all over the place, but had something I was just getting into. Alas...
17
firedrakes Mar 27, 2026 +14
that what this whole season felt like. i never seen a show fumble in a season 2 this badly.
14
wmike469 Mar 27, 2026 +9
Dmv is watchable. I struggled through the 1st episode of Watson and never had a desire to watch another
9
hectic_hooligan Mar 28, 2026 +2
It started really bad but actually ended up being pretty solid. The Sherlock Holmes stuff in it is always lazy amd hinders it. But its characters ended up being entertaining enough to watch. Ingrid being the most interesting
2
vanityinlines Mar 27, 2026 +17
This makes me sad, especially cause the last episode of DMV was so good.
17
ChochMcKenzie Mar 27, 2026 +9
I liked DMV. I thought it was getting better as it went.

Can we please just give Tim Meadows his own show? The dude is a gift that keeps being underutilized. The man is pure joy, for fucks sake!!
18
dr199 Mar 28, 2026 +6
I got my Courvoisier right here.
6
Kevbot1000 Mar 27, 2026 +23
Ah nuts. DMV really started to find it's stride.
23
PiFlavoredPie Mar 27, 2026 +20
DMV had a rough start in that the characters aren’t very likable and actively kind of disliked each other plot-wise so you couldn’t test the chemistry easily. It softened over time but it was too late. I also don’t feel like it’s a good fit for CBS. Workplace comedies feel more like an NBC thing.
20
InevitableBad589 Mar 28, 2026 +5
Yeah, DMV definitely felt more like a NBC than CBS show. It felt like a Superstore successor more than St Denis Medical even.
5
newleaf9110 Mar 27, 2026 +7
Watson was just OK in my opinion, but DMV deserved better.
7
thegeekiestgeek Mar 27, 2026 +1
That AI episodes was hilarious
1
lurkering101 Mar 27, 2026 +11
Watson was too generic with flat characters and writing trading on the clout of an IP out of copyright. The altruist medicine shows can be popular so a little surprising. DMV was full of characters I didn't like, in a setting where it didn't make sense for them to always be in the same room for most of the show to take place. Just like animal control, it makes no sense for a team of field staff to be chilling in the office to have ridiculous activities together. no surprises there.
11
1975hh3 Mar 28, 2026 +5
DMV is great. That sucks but CBS is gonna CBS I guess. Another Tyler bullshit show incoming I guess…
5
PatrioticHotDog Mar 27, 2026 +54
> CBS renewed 12 dramas for next season, including all 4 freshmen, Marshals, CIA, Sheriff Country and Boston Blue ... God damn, tell me you back the blue without saying you back the blue. And this is only their copaganda in season ONE.
54
CyberSmith31337 Mar 28, 2026 +12
Marshals is actually one of the most boring, terrible shows I have ever watched.  But Taylor Sheridan crafts *”boomer juice”* better than anyone in the business.
12
InevitableBad589 Mar 28, 2026 +6
My parents, who love the Paramount Yellowstone shows, even said that Marshals was terrible. That really says something to me.
6
baummer Mar 28, 2026 +1
TS isn’t writing this show
1
sleepymeowth052 Mar 27, 2026 +40
I mean, it's cbs

HotOne9364 Mar 28, 2026 +9
Nate Bargatze had a point when he said CBS is to white people like BET is to black people.
9
tehrob Mar 28, 2026 +2
D*** Wolf
2
hobblingcontractor Mar 27, 2026 +13
Calling these freshmen isn't really accurate. Sure it's a first season, but Boston Blue is hardly a brand new show. It's a continuation of Blue Bloods, which ran forever. Same for Marshals. Yellowstone spin-off.
13
Herramadur Mar 27, 2026 +15
They're all off-shoots ... Marshals (Yellowstone), CIA (FBI), Sheriff Country (Fire Country) and Boston Blue (Blue Bloods)
15
carpy22 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Spinoffs are back baby!
1
AgentElman Mar 27, 2026 -21
Whenever people online talk about copaganda I immediately know they don't watch the shows and have no idea what they are talking about.
-21
Clay_Puppington Mar 27, 2026 +2
I haven't watched these shows, as procedural drama and cops shows arent my thing. But, like most procedural dramas and cop shows, would you be willing to briefly touch on why you wouldn't consider the given list copaganda? I grabbed one at random (Boston Blue) and quickly skimmed the wiki, and then the wiki for Donnie Wahlburgs character. Obviously, I skimmed it, and haven't seen it, but everything i read on it just hit all the copagnda notes. I also quickly pulled up the copaganda wiki, as I figured as a non-American, maybe i was misinformed as to what the definition is. There's an entry on that page that is specifically about the creator of a lot of these shows (including Blue Bloods where Boston Blue spun from) as being "unabashedly pro law enforcement". I'd love some insight. But obviously, if you're not feeling up to sharing, that's cool too. Cheers
2
crazydrums27 Mar 27, 2026 +2
The issue is that anything that paints law enforcement in a positive light in any way is treated as copaganda because people are very anti-police at this point. While it makes sense people have issues with police in reality, you can't really have a show where you make your protagonists negative and unlikable. People have no issue with other shows that make gangsters, villains, etc. unrealistic and likable, but with cop shows they treat it differently. The cops in these shows are usually more honest, accountable, good people than their real life counterparts, but they're often also characters who have real flaws. The issues get wrapped up neatly in an episode or two, but that's how procedural tv works. The alternative to what these shows are doing would be to have unlikable, bad people who don't overcome the obstacles and never solve any real issues. Who wants to watch that? So most cop shows worth watching will get labeled as copaganda, at that point the word kind of loses its meaning.
2
Clay_Puppington Mar 27, 2026 +3
Appreciate the insight.
3
Agile_Land_9951 Mar 27, 2026 +8
Dang it! I enjoyed DMV
8
JingoboStoplight4887 Mar 28, 2026 +4
*DMV* had a good run; or rather, a good drive.
4
warlocktx Mar 28, 2026 +5
I watched DMV because Tony Cavallero was so batshit insane in Righteous Gemstones.  His DMV character was nowhere near that level, unfortunately.
5
seanhere Mar 28, 2026 +2
I kept waiting for him to add about 20% more Keene to the character but it never happened.
2
mmmTriscuit Mar 28, 2026 +1
Yeah I wanted to like his character, or at least love to hate him, but just not very good writing for him.
1
Senorpuddin Mar 27, 2026 +8
I knew Watson wasnt worth my time when I realized it was just a Shitty version of House.
8
thegeekiestgeek Mar 27, 2026 +6
What? I love DMV.
6
jimbobdonut Mar 27, 2026 +3
With CBS cancelling DMV and The Neighborhood ending, this leaves an opening for the Monday 8 PM s***. I wonder if they will put more comedies there or another hour long drama. The Neighborhood lasted 8 seasons and CBS could never find a show to pair with it. They even tried two different Damon Wayans Jr. shows that only lasted a season each.
3
InevitableBad589 Mar 28, 2026 +1
They should have picked up the spin-off of The Neighborhood instead of DMV last pilot season. It certainly couldn't do any worse than being canceled after one season like DMV ended up being.
1
ContinuumGuy Mar 27, 2026 +3
Watson was a neat idea that wasn't done particularly well.
3
tmagnum000 Mar 28, 2026 +3
A show like DMV has potential. Too bad it’s not getting an opportunity to keep going. Makes me wonder if a show like the Office would get a second season if it aired today.
3
MRintheKEYS Mar 27, 2026 +5
Days like this make me yearn for the simplicity of the old Law and Order
5
YLCZ Mar 27, 2026 +4
It came out the same time as St. Denis Medical which was superior. It was like they cut and paste stock characters from other shows and thought it would work. The actors were fine but the writing was terrible. They deserved a better show.
4
hackingdreams Mar 27, 2026 +5
Watson shouldn't have had a second season... the whole thing was like budget House, and its cast was mostly full of stinkers (seriously, that Texan accent... just no, please, never again). Poorly written, mostly poorly acted, and the pair of halfway interesting characters couldn't carry it. It's actually somewhat amazing you can get that much wrong after House existed, frankly.
5
carpy22 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Dr. Lubbock, from Dallas. Stephens Croft, from Johns Hopkins. Just awful choices made in the writers room.
1
jojowasher Mar 27, 2026 +2
~~House~~ Watson was pretty okay
2
monsieurxander Mar 28, 2026 +2
Fell off DMV midway through. Every character had one dimension and the humor wasn't landing. *Especially* when it was at the expense of customers at the DMV.
2
InevitableBad589 Mar 28, 2026 +2
Have watched every episode of DMV and kind of liked it; enough to watch every episode, obviously. I was a big fan of Superstore and was hoping this would be my replacement but it's not nearly as good as that was. I do think CBS made a mistake picking DMV up over the spinoff of The Neighborhood. Considering DMV is now getting canceled, I would imagine it would be labeled as a mistake by most people.
2
HardcoreKaraoke Mar 28, 2026 +2
I assume this is a part of Paramount cost cutting. Newer shows made under the previous regime probably won't be given much opportunity to grow. If they aren't successful quickly they are getting shelved. The commercials for DMV were so odd. Like obviously it was a workplace comedy about a DMV but they weren't really showing footage of the show in the ads, they were just general funny DMV situations. I never checked it out because of that.
2
SharksFan4Lifee Mar 28, 2026 +2
DMV isn't bad. I love Harriet Dyer, have a huge crush on her.
2
tamere2k Mar 28, 2026 +2

I never understood how watson ever even made it out of the pitch meeting. what a terribly bad idea for a sherlock holmes adaptation.

Own_Replacement_8768 Mar 27, 2026 +4
DMV is adorable and I thought pretty solidly funny. That’s a shame.

Sweet__Sauce Mar 27, 2026 +3
No wonder Chuck Lorre stepped away from TV
3
SilverRoseBlade Mar 27, 2026 +4
That’s too bad. I liked Watson as a medical drama vs the standard cop procedural.
4
Gen-Jinjur Mar 27, 2026 +3
Cancel everything, cue up more quasi-religious family c***.

daduude Mar 27, 2026 +3
Didnt like DMV, I did watch Watson, but I knew it would not last.I wish they would bring back "So help me Todd".
3
Ketsuo Mar 27, 2026 +4
You know what show I miss? Better Off Ted.
4
jojayp Mar 27, 2026 +2
I often called it Better of Todd by mistake. Loved both of those shows.
2
DrTeethPhD Mar 27, 2026 +5
DMV was not good.

Omatzus Mar 27, 2026 +3
F*** CBS

TasteTheBiscuit1810 Mar 27, 2026 +2
I watched all the way up to the Randall Park episode. I tried to get into it but it just wasn't clicking for me.
2
wvgeekman Mar 27, 2026 +2
It took about half the season for DMV to click, but I've been enjoying it. Oh well.
2
CranDrescher Mar 27, 2026 +2
Goddammit cbs
2
notmyrealfarkhandle Mar 27, 2026 +2
I watched DMV for Tony Cavalero, maybe my favorite from Righteous Gemstones in a cast of excellent actors. But it just wasn’t it, I gave up at some point.
2
insomniac_z Mar 27, 2026 +3
I liked Watson, but it didn't feel like it had a long term plan.
3
corvus_wulf Mar 27, 2026 +3
Watson had a mystery to hook people on S1 ...for most of season 2 it's just been episode of the week
3
insomniac_z Mar 27, 2026 +2
Yeah I kept waiting for something to happen with this new season and while some of the episodes have been interesting, it didn't grab me as much.
2
corvus_wulf Mar 27, 2026 +2
Without the hook of Moriarty...it's a d******* House
2
VirtuousFool Mar 27, 2026 +1
I'll never understand why the f*** they thought people would ever watch a comedy based off the f****** DMV CBS had gotten away with a lot but that always felt like a bridge too far

aswadNalu Mar 28, 2026 +1
Damn, Watson is my joint to watch. Hate to see it go. SMH.
1
untoldmillions Mar 28, 2026 +1
this is the second morris chestnut show to die, (rosewood), other shows also? he seems bankable, but frankly I never watched this one, so I guess it's me that's the problem not him?
1
fitzysbuna Mar 28, 2026 +1
I enjoyed Watson ! the only hospital drama i have watched in a few years ! sad that it cancelled ! With DMV i liked the idea but it was badly executed ! sick of the talking to camera stuff !

ontheweed Mar 28, 2026 +1
I saw a commercial for DMV for the first time two days ago
1
Memphisrexjr Mar 28, 2026 +1
DMV was funny but they couldn't figure out a hook to keep it interesting. I just eventually got bored of watching it.
1
MeatTornado25 Mar 28, 2026 +1
I really wanted to like DMV but I think I only laughed once or twice the whole season.
1
I-Have-Mono Mar 28, 2026 +1
Tim Meadows deserves a hit.
1
Bootleg_Lo-Fi Mar 28, 2026 +1
Too bad, DMV fit right into my slate of average network comedy midweek shows, St Dennis Medical, High Maintenance, Reggie Dinkins, Scrubs and Animal Control
1
flashcapulet Mar 28, 2026 +1
only plain jane cop shows allowed on tv. so annoying.
1
Danny8806 Mar 28, 2026 +1
I think there are just wayyyyy too many shows now.
1
countd0wns Mar 28, 2026 +1
I liked the first season of Watson but this season has been a bore. Also I recently learned the twins are actually just one actor and it’s like..why? What’s the point of doing that? Seems unnecessary to me as it doesn’t really add anything to the show.
1
henry-bacon Mar 28, 2026 +1
Damn, Watson was really good.
1
wynonna_burp Mar 28, 2026 +1
Oh wow
1
No-Preparation-1030 Mar 28, 2026 +1
I can hear Barb crying now.
1
bros402 Mar 28, 2026 +1
I tried to watch Watson...but the series premiere was so bad.
1
AndrewHeard Mar 28, 2026 +1
Never watched Watson but I enjoy DMV.
1
theghostsofvegas Mar 28, 2026 +1
Tbh, I have no idea why Watson didn’t get canceled sooner. It was a terrible show.
1
PM_me_datSmile Mar 28, 2026 +1
Big Sac won this battle.
1
fdbryant3 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Ah, that sucks, I like both of those shows. Kinda not surprised by DMV, but I would have thought Watson was safe.
1
NoThanksJustLooking1 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Not really surprised about Watson. Wasn't expecting it to get a second season. DMV was good though. That's a sad one to see go.
1
Usual_Corner2787 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Oh ffs, CBS. Can’t have anything fun anymore.
1
Pharazonian Mar 28, 2026 +1
Watson is terrible, glad its gone
1
LengthinessLow8317 Mar 28, 2026 +1
I Feel bad for Morris Chesnut. The big 4 networks keep cancelling his shows. I feel like DMV had potential but needed more episodes to get the the kinks out. I could see it doing well in a Youtube "web series" format
1
NosDarkly Mar 28, 2026 +1
Tim Meadows has got to be the most talented comic actor who never \*really\* got big.
1
Slight-Definition-20 Mar 28, 2026 +1
A show that glorified incompetence, and a show that was a rework of House were cancelled. Wow, I'm like beyond shocked. /s
1
belongtotherain Mar 27, 2026
DMV is terrible so I’m not surprised
0
Realistic_Ride_2032 Mar 27, 2026 +1
I tried to get into Watson last season and it didn’t stick for me. I watched DMV and while it has some funny episodes, I felt the writing was on the wall.
1
Roakana Mar 27, 2026 +1
CBS working hard to lose all viewers. Way to go Bari & Co.
1
Kianna9 Mar 27, 2026 +1
I always liked the medical mysteries on Watson. They seemed fairly unique.
1
cwatson214 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Oh good, 2 less reasons to watch the propaganda network
1
Bubbly-Issue-5252 Mar 27, 2026 -1
I’m so pissed!!! I really enjoyed this show!

ZealousWolf1994 Mar 27, 2026 +1
Maybe a mashup, "Watson & the DMV".
1
Homosuperiorpod Mar 27, 2026 +5
Watson at the DMV. Every episode is him solving crimes within a DMV location.
5
Sanlear Mar 27, 2026 +1
“Holmes, what school did you drive by?” “Elementary, my dear Watson.”
1
RoseyPosey30 Mar 28, 2026
DMV could have been a lot more than it was. I had high hopes but stopped watching after like 5 eps. Episode after episode of the main character pining over her coworker and like no other storylines. Yawn.
0
MetaNemesis Mar 27, 2026
Ugh so glad they canceled DMV. Was such a boring and pointless series. Watson was ehh okay but I did not see it going anywhere really.
0
Illustrious_Rope8332 Mar 27, 2026
Spending 100b on WBD who is 50b in debt while having 50b in debt doesn’t leave a lot of money to make shows.

iheartmycats820 Mar 28, 2026
Noooooo!!! Watson was SO much better this season!! It was 99% medical mystery and just a TINY bit Sherlock Holmes stuff. It was PERFECT this season. Im sooooo sad!!!!
