I dont think it's possible to rig the election in regards to the house. The elections are too small and numerous. Theres 33 or 34 senate seats up for election in state wide elections that can be tampered but they arent going to be able to do that with 435 separate smaller district elections. They'll just do whatever they can to avoid swearing in the incoming representatives

Unfortunately the regime will use every tool in the kit to prevent an outcome where control is lost over either house or senate. Every trick in the book, including vote buying, rule changes, intimidation, media saturation, “emergency” rulings, lawsuits, etc. The probability that the midterms don’t end in crisis is very low.
