So far this year the only comedies that have actually been funny have been two revivals of old comedies: Scrubs, and Malcolm in the Middle. Reminds me that humour still does exist in 2026. All it needs is comedy writers. Remember those!?
Absolutely loved Scrubs and MitM. I would love for them to come back on a regular basis. Even if it’s only 4 or 5 episodes a year for the next twenty years. I’d be down for that. Like catching up with an old friend.
What comedies have you watched? I thought Stumble was hilarious, agree that St. Denis is funny as well.

St. Dennis has been really great this season. The Comeback as well and Hacks is just getting started

I really like St. Dennis Medical. Season 2 was really good with great character development. I’m also digging the Comeback so far.

I think outright comedy shows are a thing of the past. Most shows now want to be edgy with dry humor, it's the cool thing to be... Lame

Even the laugh track shows since big bang theory started are NOT FUNNY. Not in the same way. Roseanne, Friends, Frasier, Everybody Loves Raymond… it’s the writing. you gotta hire funny writers. They’re all so shit now because there’s apparently no funny writers who are nepo babies.

Give Stumble and the Rise and Fall of Reggie Dinkins a try, both just finished their first seasons and have been great.
