bro, some of these might just mess you up long-term. like, sure, crash diets and extreme calorie cutting work, but that’s just a slippery slope to yo-yoing back and forth. focus on balance instead for real.

I have done the healthy way and it took 6 months just to lose 20 lbs. I have since gained that back and then had a baby around 3 weeks ago so im desperately trying to lose the fat and feel okay again. It sucks not knowing what to wear out, not feeling comfortable in my own skin but not being able to workout since im still recovering. My partner suggested to at least reach 140, im currently 180. And 40 pounds sounds so overwhelming to lose.

Amputation? Or take loads of meds that treat constipation?

Amputation is the absolute fastest, most effective method that meets OP's criteria 👍

I would understand amputation if I was someone who had zero self control when it came to food but im 3 weeks postpartum, so the stress, lack of sleep, not being able to be physically active due to recovery, eating to maintain milk supply are just adding to my fat, if I dont eat enough my body stores whatever I ate but if I eat what im supposed to (2000 - 2500) I gain.

Come down with Covid, then lose your sense of taste and smell. Worked damn well for me. 5 years later, and I barely have them back.

Liquid diet, no solid food. Lots of healthy broths for nutrients. Lost 30 pounds in a month, gained it all back pretty quickly.

You need a new partner.

I feel he has the right to feel how he feels even if it hurts to hear. Of course he isnt rushing me to get in shape. I just want to lose the weight because I feel like he is disgusted when he looks at me even if he never says anything of the sort. Just said I need to lose weight.

I can’t stress to you enough how abnormal and unhealthy that is.
Anyone telling a woman to lose weight is gross. A man telling a woman to lose weight right after birthing HIS BABY is misogyny at its finest.

To be fair he said he needs to lose weight too and we could do it together when im healed. Postpartum hormones just make it feel like pressure

Stuff like crash dieting or doing hours of cardio every day will drop weight quickly, but it’s not sustainable at all. People do it for a few weeks, burn out, then gain it back plus more.

Not going to list those out Even the ones that seem to work short term tend to cause real damage long term If you want something that actually sticks without wrecking yourself happy to help with that instead

Well i did do it the right way at some point example meal prep, cardio, working out 5 times a week and prioritizing protein and healthy carbs, it took me 6 months to lose 20 pounds. Im just impatient and scared to take that long again
Chia seed pudding as a meal replacement: 1 cup vanilla unsweetened almondmilk, 3 TBS black chia seeds, 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder. Mix, wait 10 minutes, mix again, let set for at least an hour or two.
Only 275 calories and keeps me full for 2-3 hours. I don't like the texture when eating by spoon but it's good with a thick smoothie straw.
Can also have ¼ - ½ serving like 30min before a meal so you don't overeat on the heavier stuff.
