**Conan O'Brien Must Go** - Absolutely loved this show, Conan is amazing and should be a bigger star. The song he sings in Norway had me in stitches.
**Curb Your Enthusiasm** - Never watched the show beyond some clips and it's incredibly funny.
**Daredevil: Born Again** - Newest episode was great, can't believe they just said f*** it and introduced Danielle to the mix.
So many shows in my backlog that I need to watch, Bloodhounds S2, Invincible S4, and now we have HBO Max in the UK I have like 7 shows on my watch list too.

Animals of Farthing Wood- A Masterpiece.
Wishbone- The Oakdale scenes get really stale fast. The book plots reuse the same actors and I keep getting distracted trying to recognize them. Joe Nemmers, Brent Anderson, and Dee Hennigan are the best.

Thanks to this sublistnook i binged all of Mr Inbetween over 2 days. No regrets, the lead is watchable though i expected more depth, perhaps a realisation that violence isn't the answer a bit like clockwork orange.
Beef season 2 was a riot. Loved it.
Friends and neighbours weekly and uts watchable but i wonder if i just watch because its Jon Hamm.
Finished latest season of invincible which was uneven but my daughter loves it so i persevered, though she struggled a bit too.
Started Margo, a bit shocked seeing her naked tbh.
The Pitt season 2 is waiting for me next.

Perpetual Grace LTD!
It’s a Steve Conrad show. Guy behind DTF St Louis, and Patriot. I loved them both before realizing he was behind both!
Bought Perpetual Grace LTD for like $20 (no one seems to be streaming it via the usual apps?). Two episodes in and it’s so good. There is just something about Steve Conrad’s story telling and directing a dialogue that I adore.
Highly recommend!

Finally watched **Season 1 of Beef** Way better than anticipated. Filled my White Lotus void I have right now.
Watched first three episodes in **Million Dollar Secret S2** such a fun little mindless ride.
**Big Mistakes** not as good as it could be; I'll finish it, but it needed some more revisions- could've been super strong but just isn't there for me
**Survivor**
**Monarch S2** really enjoying it still
**Arrested Development** Absolutely a ride. I think we're still on S2, but maybe we made it to S3

18 episodes into season 2 of the Rookie and really enjoying it, Its not a show thats blowing me away but its still entertaining. Hulu
Kamen Rider Zeztz 31 episodes have been amazing. On Tokushoutsu
Kamen Rider Agito 7 episodes in and I'm liking it, will admit its a interesting series so far. Current episodes are on Toei Tokusatsu world official for limited time
Kamen Rider Kabuto is so good so far with 7 episodes in. Really like how the its unfolding so far. Same channel as Agito with same limited time on current episodes

Wrapped up:
The Pitt S2 - A solid season. I wish there was stronger material & time dedicated to Dr Mohan (who sadly exits the show) to shine. I don't want to make claims about racial politics here, but her exit was most certainly not on the cards when writing for S2 began, it appears. A recommended watch.
Shrinking S3 - Look, the show handled the primary story arc of Jimmy & Alice dealing with their wife's/mom's death in the early seasons with admirable sensitivity & understanding. But most other things about this show have been falling apart gradually, and that trend continues in S3. At this point, the characters have all lost their individual identities and basically morphed into one single sarcastic, quippy, rather unfunny entity. Not recommended at all.
Currently watching:
Hacks S5 - Very good start (lots of good gags) and based on the reviews, things are looking very promising. I hope this show goes out with a banger.
Euphoria S3 - It's just Sam Levinson getting Sydney Sweeney to play out his nasty pornographic fantasies in the disguise of "art". There's a deliberate quality to how Cassie's adult stuff is filmed, and not only do the other storylines feel completely removed from the former world of Euphoria, none of them have any dramatic pull. I have no doubt the show will still thrive though. I actually hate that I started watching this.

Cannot disagree more. The show stutters in season 1 with an emphasis on characters when the actors actresses aren't quite good enough to pull it off. But season 2 was awesome and so was season 3.

It's good so far but it's also unpleasant. Baby Reindeer started similarly in the sense that it felt a bit inaccessible at the very beginning but as it goes along you slowly become invested but the story itself is pretty triggering and upsetting so far. There's something very human at its core even if it feels alien at times. I don't know if everyone will relate to the extremity of the circumstances but there's definitely something almost universal about it for people who have had similar or adjacent types of relationships. Which for the sake of simplicity I'll just say toxic ones with fucked up power dynamics. I suspect a lot of people will struggle with the subject matter too, though. It's not an easy watch.
3
deadinthewater021 hr ago

Yeah, I'm about 15 minutes in and it already feels quite distressing. And it's just going to amplify, I think. Not unlike Baby Reindeer, as you mentioned (though I had to stop watching after one particular scene). I fear the same here.

It’s wild. There’s some interesting set up to what will be the pivotal dynamic of the series. A lot of hyper aggressive homo eroticism undertones, which I guess is part of the commentary on being a man. Overall, very watchable and a little uncomfortable.

Beef s02 - Really good. Not so good as the first season but still really good. Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan are incredible. It is a really fun show.
Invincible s04- I only watched the first two episodes and I gotta say I'm struggling but I'll keep watching. Hopefully it gets better.
Margo's Got Money Troubles - Delightful show with brilliant acting by Elle Fanning, Nick Offerman, Michelle Pfeiffer and the roommate.
Daredevil Born Again s02 - last week's episode was amazing. The show is really good (I didn't love S01), although the latest episode wasn't amazing as the past two.
Your Friends and Neighbors s02 - I love this show. It's silly but I can't stop watching. James Marsden is great in it. Lena Hall is great too. Love her teaching arc and her performances.
Euphoria s03- it's like Grand Theft Auto on TV and I really like it. Different from the other two seasons in tone but it fits the characters. Brilliantly acted and shot.

I’m going to echo what the other guy said about Invincible. Getting to the last 4 episodes makes it worth it to slog through the first few.
I started watching “something bad is going to happen”, got 2 episodes in, then started watching “big mistakes” also. In my brain, they are very similar on many levels and now I’m watching them both together as a mash up, it’s madness! But i can’t quit the madness!

**Criminal Record S2** - good premiere. Peter Capaldi is always solid.
**Beef S2** - don’t think it remotely touches S1.

**Big Boys** - also hilarious, totally took me by surprise and I fell in love with it. While I definitely enjoyed **Overcompensating**, this show has it beat in my opinion.
**Dorohedoro** - Absolutely dying for season 2 to finish so I can binge it. I genuinely don't understand how this anime isn't getting waaay more hype. I'm not always a fan of action anime, they're often pretty cringe or generic but Dorohedoro is so unique and has incredible world building and art.

Acorn TV has really been entertaining. I felt like hearing French this week.
1. Saint-Pierre: I have never wanted to visit a place so badly - I'll probably say the same thing about the next show I watch but I love this little show.
2. Balthazar: I'm on Season 3 episode 3 and from the get go Balthazar has been insufferable, like warranting pepper spray levels but at the same time he does make the show what it is. Funny, I can totally see Tom Ellis (Lucifer) playing this character and nailing it.
3. The Outlaws (BBC) It's gotten a few good snort-laughs and Whhhaaat from me. I like it.
4. Astrid et Raphaelle rewatch - I tried to watch the English version but it's just missing something. Kind of Like Haute Potential became High Potential and I absolutely detest the English version. Watched 9 episodes and hated them all.
ETA: Just finished season 4 of Balthazar and it was really good. Getting rid of Helene and minimizing Maya's role really made him more palatable. I realize, I'm in the minority, most people like the old dynamic but I like Constable Coste aka Chloe Bennet lookalike/carbon copy played by Constance Labbe. Pity this version is only 2 seasons.

The first time I watched Fargo S1, I was really liking it, but then I learned that >!they were lying to me with the whole big "Based on a True Story" thing before each episode,!< and ohhhh boy I could not let that go. I stopped enjoying it entirely because of that, I'm ashamed to admit.
So I begrudgingly watched the rest, and then ditched the show, never to pick it up again until 5 years later -- this year.
I watched all the other seasons first this time, starting in reverse order, and by season 3 I'd finally gotten over >!the lying!< and was like, “okay, you got me, that’s a pretty good trick there, ya sneaky little devils,” and really enjoyed the heck out of it. The darnedest thing really.
Anywho, season 2? Oh geez. Oh wow. That’s a near-perfect season of television right there, I tell ya what.
So I says to myself, “well heck, might as well give Season 1 another whirl, eh?” And boy am I glad I did. Oh yeah, you betchya! Turns out, it's now my favorite season of television ever. What a character that >!Lorne Malvo!< fella' is.
My favorite album ever? I hated it at first too! I was joking with my wife about how the first time we... well I shouldn't say, but oh we had a good laugh about it!

This is hilarious because when the movie Fargo came out, well before the internet or anything, it was pretty widely understood that the "Based on a True Story" was a gimmick the Coen Brothers to add a sense of absurdist realism to the film. The idea of someone watching the TV show two decades later and getting mad at it for lying to them is so funny. Nothing wrong with, just took me by surprise.
Fargo season 2 is my favorite season of TV ever so I am just glad when people get chance to watch it.

I had thought that the twist would be that the kids grow up to be the opposite characters to what you would expect... I had failed to register that the adult versions of the characters already used each other's names in the opening scene lol

I am watching Person of Interest and Paradise. I enjoyed the first 3 seasons of POI but it got a bit slow but the end of the 4th. Paradise had a strong season 1 but I am struggling with season 2.

The fourth season of **Invincible** wrapped up this week. The cast has continued to balloon, but I think the show succeeds at establishing real emotional stakes/danger when everyone is ~~Invincible~~ super strong. I've read the comic multiple times and I continue to be impressed with the adaptation of the story, particularly how it sands down some of the character beats that haven't aged well/didn't work, and where they choose to expand the story (like showing the >!Scourge Virus on Viltrum!<).
I was a little lower on **Abbott Elementary**'s fifth season than what's come before. It's a comfort/passive watch, but even >!sending the school to the mall!< for three episodes didn't pull me in as much as I'd hoped. There are still real highlights, the core cast is great (especially Sheryl Lee Ralph's Barbara and William Stanford Davis's Mr. Johnson), but I'm hoping things feel fresh next season after >!Janine and Gregory's breakup!<(which somehow was spoiled for me? on the least spoilable show??).
**The Rise and Fall of Reggie Dinkins**, on the other hand, really worked for me (even though I don't *sports* in the slightest). Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe are clearly having ball. There's definitely some 30Rock DNA with the high joke density. Did you know that you needed to see >!Megan Thee Stallion!< playing a mail carrier and ongoing love interest for Daniel Radcliffe? You do!
Otherwise, I'm watching **Beef** S2, **Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood**, **Euphoria** S3, **Margo's Got Money Troubles**, **The Boys** S5, **Daredevil: Born Again** S2, and **Rooster**.

Reggie Dinkins had both me and my wife laughing *hard* I hope it gets renewed.
I think the title might put people off though, I only clicked on it because of Tracy and Radcliffe lol

Beef 2. An older wealthy couple in a management position at a wealthy country club get into beef with a younger lower positioned couple working at the same club.
For me this is definelty going to be one of the best shows of the year.

I just finished S2 and I was so let down. The ending was ass, and there was a gigantic lack of spectacle between the two warring couples. Most of it was just Cailee Spaney being a mega b**** while the other three were just reacting to her.

I enjoyed the plot but didn't feel it had the right structure for a season of Beef. If I had watched s2 without knowing its name I would never have guessed it's Beef.

yeah imo they should've kept it just to the 2couples and axed the 3rd storyline

The last half of Invincible S4 was excellent. Can’t wait for S5 already.
Greatly enjoying Daredevil: Born Again S2. But only 2 episodes left 💔
Maul- Shadow Lord continues to just be a really good, incredibly animated show.
Still need to binge out Monarch: Legacy of Monstets and The Boys S5
